These episodes are are great when there are certain restrictions. The guys exercise their deck-building prowess and they don't use nearly as many of the typical things. Who cares if the game stretches on a few more turns. It's so much more interesting to see what they do!
Being a fan of Jeremy Noell is like being a fan of Charlie Brown: you constantly hope that things will turn out differently, only for Lucy to once again pull the football out from under him.
This was definitely my favorite restriction I've seen on the show that I can remember. Themes from only a few sets or forcing yourself to only play from completely disconnected sets or parasitic sets is a very fun place to build from.
I continue to say that whoever is using their video/audio capture for these games needs to go into Windows settings and turn off notification sounds. :)
I think the commander sets made this a little more homogeneous than I was expecting. I think in the future you guys should just stick with 3 expansions and a core set. Great game though!
#teamParnell!! I'll try opening 200+ tabs with the episodes later today and let you know how it went with a not so powerful computer, or maybe it'll die and I wont let you know. Either way, love you guys! Thanks for the content as always and take care.
Out of curiosity, do yall have a return date planned for playing in the studio. I've enjoyed this alternative but I definitely miss the added quality of playing in the studio 🙂
Lol, Justin the opportunist we all need to strive to be! Very creative randomonium! These out of the norm deck building challenges are what sets this show apart! Justin trying to do the comeback, watch out Stephen they coming for your spot!
The commander sets come out with so many staples, I might put a point system on using the cards from those boxes. And increase the point budget if they’re using a commander from that box with less than 600 decks.
I understand why everyone focused stephen, and then jonathan, because of season point totals, but it kinda quirks me when people (jeremy) ignore people with the highest board state threats (Justin). Same with Stephen, earlier in the game, clearly could of flown over Justin's board to get in, but didn't (mostly because Jeremy was tunnel-vision'd on him).
i hate how noone interacted with john till the very end. jeremy was locked down by attrition and john had a million mana in artifacts and justin still sniped his zendikar resurgent. John was not doing ok things the whole game and yet it was fine.
i love how all the people in the comments below, only say about the amazing game , but noone speaks about how justin parnell search for the wrong basic land, before casting the attrition and play aftert that like he has 2 swamps in the battlefield and the funny of everything is that the others dont seems to see the miss as well. its hilarious!!!!
Gotta go team parnell in this episode ghave is by far my favorite commander in the game and I have a deck built around it I don't often see anyone play it so it's nice
I wish they would go back to titling the videos as seasons and episodes of the seasons instead of just the number of the videos. It was so much easier to find which season I’m on when I’m rewatching.
I’m actually glad John lost, as I am SO tired of Dockside just overtaking games. It’s frustrating enough when watching competitive, NOW it’s popping up in more casual watching?! And don’t tell me it’s about “playing your best available cards” when in next Justin declines to force the Eldritch Moon Emrakul for his randomonium spin! Dockside is too efficient!
@@MrPinkpanzer ok you can be happy when John wins, ultimately he, himself as a person & player, has pretty much nothing to do with the reason why I am glad he lost this particular & I can be plenty happy when he wins if the overall game is enjoyable
@@psychic2021 have you talked to your playgroups about maybe playing less of the card? IMHO, its kind of rough to tall about limiting ramp in red when green ramp goes basically unchecked, but its a conversation you should have with them.

commanders vs stephen is the real motif of this season
That point scumming by Justin at the end was just beautiful

Loved the archenemy episode today!

Love this format. Fun
8 seconds for Justin! Great content
Love your chaos weeks :D can't wait for the next one
I really enjoy the random wheel decks, would love to see more

Man, the end to that game was glorious! Good stuff as always guys!
Best set draft set up ever!
I haven’t even finished the video, but I’m very excited for this episode. This is a great idea. Also yes Justin made out like an absolute bandit LOL
That attrition, Jon.

We appreciate and will never forget you either Justin 🙏
Great games guys. A bit unfortunate how hard Stephen got focused, but points is the name of the game I suppose.
Heavy is the head!
@@nik700 The crown be heavy!
I really liked this randamonium. chaos set draft chefs kiss* good job cant wait for next week
53:10 mark, Stephen rocking the Trump tan 🤣🤣🤣
Commenting for justin so he appreciates me. #TeamParnell
I appreciate you
I like how you are doing more random this season.

I do what I can xD Good to see others posting point screens :)
this is a cool as idea, very good video
Rafiq was an excellent choice this week, but Justin got an excellent sealed pool. This is a super cool chaos theme!
i guess jeremy could have killed stephen with his second rafiq attack, if he made him unblockable with the land thingy
Justin is playing my all time favorite commander? Hell yes
The first 5 turns really felt like old school edh
That is current school in my group though haha
i hate how noone interacted with john till the very end. jeremy was locked down by attrition and john had a million mana in artifacts and justin still sniped his zendikar resurgent. John was not doing ok things the whole game and yet it was fine.
Good game guys, some great laughs in there 😂
Is the randomized a website that they could share? Would be awesome to use that tool in my friend group.
Couldn't Jon have given his knight indestructible with the behemoth clone?
I'm so confused about the "stinker" of a core set with Mana Vault, Fellwar Stone, Land Tax, Strip Mine, and Sylvan Library in it
Excited for Mustached Jeremy. Bring on the pain my friend.

He had golgari signet which tapped for his second swamp ........
I really wanted to see what Yennett was gunna do. Send me that deck!
Love the random sets!
Is it just me or does Justin look more and more like Stephen?
Ixalan + Scourge? Stephen is living my tribal dreams. Only missing piece is C17
team justin and team green lol.
Calling it now before the end, 17:55 Justin's confidence doesn't pay off.
My 8 seconds of time spent to comment. You're welcome Justin
Started slow, then went from 0 to 100 real quick!
Gotta go team parnell in this episode ghave is by far my favorite commander in the game and I have a deck built around it I don't often see anyone play it so it's nice
Just let Justin just skate with the win
Yeah let's attack Steven for 12 but not the person who can kill your commander at anytime
Its seasonal point totals nonsense, it makes sense in terms of seasonal positioning, but not in the context of the game.
This is a good coliseum series.
I appreciate you commenting on the comments Justin
I'll hold up my end of the bargain
So is someone going to the store dressed up as a pigeon with a scroll taped to their leg?
ya hate to see team green taken out, but that was a dirty conditioning
but... 2013 has Derevi
2x speed Compleat
For the thumbnail Stephen should have a warp world or goblin auction instead of magus of the wheel
I regard to the commenting on request: the 8 seconds were a lot, and you will never be able to repay it.
Happy Wednesday!
That was fantastic lol
Miss the studio.
I came here to see Commander, not unjust archenemy
My sacrifice to the algorithm gods.

Hi
The generic cheer sound gave me giggles.
Are you guys ever going to play in the same room again? If it's not safe at this point it probably never will be.
Comment for Justin
Per Justin’s request here’s my comment!

I personally enjoy when Jon wins. I think there are much more egregious and oppressive cards in commander than dockside.

Some Rando Calrissian

Fine! Here's my damn comment! Now leave me alone! Lol
Good game homies
Jeremy complaining about Justin rekt'n him is funny. He should have attacked Justin from the start because his deck just counters him.
Jeremy i commented
Just found out about this serious what would you say its main selling point?

Don’t understand the hate on Steven , even though he’s in the lead Justin over here building a big board and no one bats an eye 🤔🤔
