Well narrated, thank you! Why are there no shortcuts for the Volume part of the Mixer and for the New Freeze+Flatten version? I also want to be able to MidiMap all shortcuts like "add audio track".
Still haven't fixed vertical zooming in arrangement view? Alt + mousewheel just zooms one single track at a time, as opposed to vertically zooming every track proportionally (like every other professional DAW does)?
@@primeus70you're talking about manually selecting all tracks (cmd+a after clicking a track) which highlights all tracks and then allows you to vertical zoom multiple tracks at once. That's not what I'm describing. In every other DAW I've used (Reaper, Studio One, Logic, Pro Tools) you don't have to select the tracks to allow them to zoom proportionally, it does this automatically as default behavior. All tracks vertical zoom proportionally without having to select the tracks. It saves clicks, time, and makes large project easier to navigate. You shouldn't have to spend the extra time selecting all of your tracks to then be able to zoom them. Also this doesn't work with grouped tracks. And the steps between zoom levels are not fine at all. They take huge jumps between zoom levels.
@@matthewbcarter unfortunately you cant, but i got pretty used to that limitation after about a month after switching to Live from Studio One and Logic.
I’m glad I stuck with Ableton. I started with 11 and 12 came out after 4 months. I don’t like the new instrument menu. Whenever I feel creative, this menu puts me off wanting to start. I may have to go back to 11. Enjoy!

sorry, I have trouble trying to get rid of the ins outs sends and volume in arrangement view on the tracks. A lot of space that I can t find a way to gain as I did on the previous versions of Live
Hi, please refer to section 6.15 in Live's manual to find out how to access the Mixer Control submenu in the View menu: brnw.ch/21wNLIZ We hope this helps, let us know if you need more assistance!
The waveform backgrounds are still painfully bright by being of the track color since Live 10, I thought we'd be able to change that on that new version. The programmers probably don't spend much time on Live like users do.
I find the scale overlay on the piano roll (the purple blueish color) incredibly hard to see, even with the high contrast mode on. I am colorblind though
The crossfader can be accessed via the Mixer Controls submenu in the View menu or the menu options in the Mixer View control at the bottom right of Live’s window. You can find screenshots and additional information in Live's manual here: brnw.ch/21wKx2A We hope this helps!
