My Mum died 2 days ago...i'm 63 years old.. she was 89, and every night when i was a child she used to sing this to my sister and i when we were in our beds. Sweet Dreams Mum xxxxx
I remember a BBC Scotland drama called "The Witch's Daughter" with Fiona Kennedy playing the leading rôle: she sang "Dream Angus" in the Gaelic at the beginning and end of each episode - magic !
My sweet husband was very sick .. we were married at 18 .. he died 9 months later .. and his wee son was born 2 months after he died .. He loved this so .. his Uncle played this on the bagpipes at his funeral .. I had sung it for him as he passed peacefully in my arms.. Cannot hear this without crying ., so beautiful it is .. thank you ⚘ Jen999💙
Barbara's voice is as lush and velvety as double cream - bless her for this recording! ❤
