One day, I was just listening to Song Of The Sea. Then I found this song. I keep on and keep on singing. Remember each word of this song. Sing it by heart. 2 days later, my beloved aunt died. I cried hard. and i sang this song for her that day. Now everytime i play this song, i cry while singing. i miss her.

Today is saturday, 26. of January 2019.
My dog was put to sleep this morning. He was with us only 8 months and he was only 10 months old. He was feeling a terriblle pain and there was no help because the vet said it was a brain disease. He wasn't just a dog, he was my little brother and I loved him like he was human. I woke up and my mom said he's gone. I didn't even had a chance to say goodbye. I love you forever my little one and this song will be your song from now on. Everytime I sing it I will think of you and I will be proud. You were everything to me and you still are. May the angels guide you on your way.

My dog who was 8 years old had bone cancer and she had to be put down last Friday. Today is January 5th of 2020 and I miss her so much and I’ll always love her with my whole heart. I hope she is welcomed by the angels and I hope they guide her journey

My cat was put down this afternoon. He was 8 months old and we had only had him for 6 months. He was diagnosed with leukemia and had an inoperable tumor pressing against his esophagus, meaning that he couldn't eat or drink. I loved him with every bit of my heart and would have given anything for him to be able to live for another month or even week. He was the sweetest cat I ever knew. This song is able to give me comfort while I grieve for him.

I have a friend going through times that hes not happy. Hes nor happy with himself or his life. I found tgis song an hour ago, and its all i wang to listen to. all i think about is wanting to see him and hold him to give him that much more of my support. We are both young, hes younger than me and hes one of my closest friends. Has been for years. This song is truly beautiful. Life is too, and it conveys so many emotions at once... props to the creator for a truly beautiful song.

When I was in 3rd grade we supposed to have a teacher she had brain cancer so we had another teacher to replace her then she survived it and we got to see her once then she died even though she survived cancer and we had to sing this song in honor of her and they gave her a special bench but the worst part is her husband and her two daughters were sitting behind me and I saw all of them crying I’m not emotional at all but that broke my heart to see.

Wait wait wait so I'm Slavic and in the first place I was pretty surprised to hear our traditional lullaby refrain "loolee-loolee" in a Norwegian-Irish song. It got me curious if by some strange chance all lullabies in the world share this refrain so I googled this question and APPARENTLY I found out that literally NO OTHER lullaby song in the world has it except this one and our Slavic traditional lullabies. 😱 The only logical explanation for this could be that Brendan heard somewhere some traditional Slavic lullaby with a "lulee-lulee" in it and got inspired by it to write this song. First of all, this all is already so cool on its own!! ❤ But I want more details!! like *WHERE?* and *HOW?* ??!? I DEMAND THE BACKSTORY OF HOW THIS SONG WAS BORN!!!!
This feels like something a father would sing to his children before saying farewell for the last time.
