@@hans_nl Do you know which? There are 2 or 3 different films with that title.I remember from the Yahoo KJ group someone had asked Keith and he said it was set in a South American country if i remember right.
very nice! This version is on my "To Transcribe"- list, too. Since Tim made it now, I ´ll do other things first. Anyway, I enjoyed your performance of this exceptional piece.
@@cavelight-cradle I've got you beat! I'm a 68-year old fan! LOL. One of the only things I love about my age is that it enabled me to hear some great musicians live on multiple occasions, Jarrett included! Or, rather, I should say, "Jarrett most of all".
Wonderful, as always, sir. Interesting how this song parallels "The Wind" a bit. C minor i chord, then turning the C into C7 in the ii/V7/i to F minor. Isn't that the same as the Freeman tune, at least in the key Jarrett plays it? (You might like to hear it sung in Spanish by Susana Raya. It, too, is beautiful. She does it in A minor. ruclips.net/video/4UcZ1w-ThjA/видео.html)
Thank you for listening. I feel the same; this tune is kind of similar to The Wind. The atmosphere of them are also alike. Possible Russ Freeman wrote it. I’ve checked Susana. Beautiful and Poignant.
@@cavelight-cradle Just found this from an old review of a trio concert: "...Both sets delivered different takes on a songbook standard and a modern jazz blues. There was a nod to alt rock with the theme from the film “The Bitter End”..." I can NOT find the movie, nor its soundtrack, here on RUclips. If you search for it be aware that there is more than one film/TV series by this title. Hope that helps.
thank you so much
Bravo! And, "thank you")!
Thank you for listening♬☆♪❣
Keep the Evans and Jarrett tunes coming. We love your playing.
Thanks a million! Your words lift my sprits quite high♬☆✨
Very nice, and would like to hear it played on a Steinway!
Thanks! Yes, I wish I could play this song on a Steinway♬☆♬
Magnifique, très doux .....encore bravo ....
Thanks, and thank you for often watching my videos!!
Please transcribe Keith’s rendition of “Autumn Serenade.”
Thanks for listening. Sorry I don't have no ear, to ability to describe. Please ask Tim!
I read on the Yahoo KJ forum that its the theme from an obscure film set in Latin America - thats all i remember.Keith is a big film buff.
Thank you for the information. It's nice of you. I didn't know Keith is a film buff.
Yes Keith loves cinema - he was a good friend of director John Cassavetes.
You are right, it is the theme from the film “The Bitter End”.

Thanks a lot, I agree this piece is so exceptional. The melody is fascinating and poignant, sounds like it suits female jazz singer.
where can i get the sheet?
You had me convinced it was a Keith bootleg until I read your note, and I’m a 25 year fan of him. Great job!
Thank you for listening. I'm a 60-year-old big fan of Keith. Now is the hard time; his music eases our fears.

Thank you for listening! Yes, would you let me know your email address?
@@cavelight-cradle Would you mind sending a copy of the transcription to jazztemple2@aol.com?
