I’m not sure if anyone else commented this or not. If the philips head gear breaks, remove the plastic dust cover (remove the plastic clips along the front of the hood) and there is a spot on the back where you can put an Allen wrench and adjust it that way.

I just bought a 2020 f250 leveled it with 35’s and drove it to California to go back to work and every car I passed flashed me LITERALLY! It pissed me off so much! Stay safe out on the line colt

Thanks Colt. Leveling kit and Beamtech replacement LED bulbs get me flashed all the time. Just lowered them. Will try them out on the highway soon.

Thank you. 2021 F450 bucket truck. The extra weight from boom and tool bins in the back caused this. It also caused front wheel alignment issues. Dealer should have adjusted after customizing truck.

I ain’t gonna lie I looked this issue up because I wanted to see if it was big issue. I live in a rural part of Texas and every Tom Dick and Harry owns a super duty Ford. The head lights should be illegal, their blinding as hell and they piss me off every morning I go to work. They need to stop making these lights.
Good tip, the factory led lights do break ez. when I had to replace mine due to a deer strike, state farm paid $1100 to replace them.

I bought a 2020 when new just stock form was getting flashed. The dealer lowered them for me. They are very bright lights.
Awesome. Easy peasy. I have halogen factory lights and every time I drive at night I always get somebody flashing me and I’m only using low beams with no load in completely stock truck.
Just made my adjustments for this should be the fix.

I bought F150LEDS they make them for other models. For my 250. I tried to adjust mine, I guess I need to be up against a flat surface.
Here I am trying to do it using my hoodie LOL 😆 I slowly turned it clockwise until I felt resistance on both then stopped.
These things are bright as heck by the way.

Just did led upgrade on factory halogen 2022.. with the hi beam on the beam is actualy low making the lows seem brighter. All 4 lightd are the same i know; so is that what this adjustment does?
Dealing with road rage issues from duddly do rights tonight because everybody thinks my high beams are on because Im leveled with Beamtech LED’s installed…. I guess I gotta turn em down to get away from these a$$clowns. Thanks Colt!

Great video buddy. Watched at work, came home and adjusted in 5 minutes. I have a 2020 that I put 2.5 level on and constantly get flashed. I would flash back to let them know I wasn’t on high. But this is the fix. Thanks again and keep vids coming.

O just went to the Ford dealership and had them adjust my lights. They came back and said someone has tried to adjust them before because one was broke. Thats crazy, I knew they broke it but couldn't prove it. Next time I will break it myself lol

My wife flashes me occasionally. Nobody else does. Seriously though, I do get flashed primarily because 17's have all 4 headlights lit on low beam.

What led bulbs did you buy for your truck? Also what is the legal beam height?
I got my bulbs from headlight revolution. And I have no idea the legal beam height. Prob varies state to state. 🇺🇸
Those screws are off to the sides of the lights, not in the exact same spot if you have Factory LED lights.
Yes you are correct, but if I had factory LED I’d let the dealership adjust them. I know to many people who tried it and broke them. Then are weak and if you break them it’s on you, if the dealership does, it’s on them. Thanks for watching, and thanks for the feedback. 🇺🇸
@@COLTSWAY Actually it wasn't a big deal. The leveling screws are at the end of a wire, that is snapped into a notch beside the lights. I did pop one of them out of the retaining snap, when adjusting, but it snapped back in, and was not harmed. Also, I lowered the drivers side down more than the passenger side. We will see how well that works for people flashing me.

I have the f150 led set in my 2022 f550. Can’t drive past a car with out being flashed. What way are your leds facing , felt

If my truck is only 3 months old and I adjust my LED headlights and I break the screw. Thats not on me. Thats a manufacturing issue.
Mines a 2019 and not leveled. Get flashed all the time. Think adjusting them will help? Wonder how much.

Nope, ours is a 2017 and has screws in the corner that looks like it is a remote. Ours appears bound up and neither will turn.
