Even in the dark circumstances she currently found herself in, the old art room of the estate still felt beautiful to her. Paintings of varying sizes and styles were scattered about the room, some not properly displayed yet, and the room was lit by a small lantern. The whole thing had been an ongoing project started by her parents and they had hoped to one day have a beautiful art gallery.
But now...now her parents were gone. Torn to pieces by those rotting flesh eaters. Their screams were still fresh in her mind and a soft sob escaped her lips as she wrapped her arms around herself in a hug. Why did that have to happen? Why did they have to die? They had been some of the kindest, gentlest, and most giving people she had ever known. They didn't deserve the fate they met.
Her whole body shook as she leaned against the wall and slumped down, burying her face in her knees and continuing to sob and weep. Though a young adult, she felt like a child now. A lost and frightened child who desperately wanted her mommy and daddy. But deep down she knew that no matter how hard she wished and no matter how many tears she cried, she couldn't bring them back. It wasn't fair, but it was true.
After several minutes, her sobs began to subside and she sniffled a little as she wiped her now red eyes. Looking around the room again, her gaze fell on a specific painting. It depicted a man walking through the forest alone towards a house with a lighted window. She remembered her mother saying something about it once.
"I always saw this painting as a representation of life." She had said. "Though it can seem dark and hopeless at times, at the end of it all is a lighted window waiting for us to come home."
Thinking about those words now helped to ease her own hopelessness and sorrow. Her parents were gone, there was no changing that, and her situation certainly looked bleak. But maybe...maybe there truly was a lighted window in the distance waiting for her like her mom had said.
"I...I'll find that window mom..." She said softly, sniffling again as she nodded. "For you...and for dad." Then she sighed and leaned back against the wall, deciding to take in the comfort of the room for a little longer. She had no idea what her next move was, but a small spark of hope had been reignited and was slowly growing. She would keep going. For her parents, and for herself.

The great realignment, the inner resurrection, triggered by intangible energy in the form of thoughts and memories - this is the only way. And one more story finding its way into the endless book waiting for us in the save room.

Been having a hard time myself recently, I'm in a depression I can't seem to get out of, this music helps me calm myself down.
When the World seemingly revolves at one million miles an hour at times, you can sometimes feel slightly lost from time to time. Like everything's leaving you behind a little, because you live in either the present, or in the dream like state of nostalgia. This piece of music encapsulates that perfectly 😄🥰😊

Serenity restores one's sanity when they are on the verge of losing grip on themselves in the depths of the evil within by taking them to the only place that they are safe and where nothing hellish and evil can get their claws on them to try and take what's left of their soul and if such attempt were to be made then the evil will end up being vanquished by their worst nightmare in the form of a white knight and his red queen wielding spears. The spears restore hope and sanity to the world along with the safe haven itself.
Reading your text, a classic RE riddle just took form before my eyes. I now have to find that second spear, if I want to escape.
@@SurvivalSpheres The path to finding the spear is less threatening because down the hallway itself, there is a golden owl that will guide you to the spear and after the spear is found, armor will shroud the wielder for they are the chosen one and a descendant of the white knight and the red queen.
