Haven't been on the boat much this year, but went sailing yesterday and no wind data. Sensor is 1 year old, San Diego, plenty of sun. Said Power [OFF], then in the device list, 0%. Did I just loose the BT signal? Will I have to do this everytime?
I'm trying to pair by following these instructions. The system shows the 320 device. It paired when new but over winter 22/23 the data stopped. Battery now replaced and shows 325mv but will not pair again. Any thoughts?
Today, my WS320 wind data stopped.coming through. I tried restarting the nmea network, reconnect cables etc to no avail. I have installed the system (new) only a couple of months ago. Is there anything I can do other than crane into the mast to get the wind sensor to reconnect? What if this happens again in a few months?
Your NMEA2000 network is still working, correct? Do you see the WS320 interfence in the N2K device ilst? Please send us a message via FB with serial number and contact details.
Hi I previously paired my WS320 wind sensor (and had the data flowing) and then I stored it away for a while with battery connected, when I have come to fit it there is no longer data, and I’ve subsequently tried to re-pair it (for a few hours) but to no avail. Not sure if I need to ‘reset’ or something?
So every time a battery needs replacing the wind sensor has to be brought down to deck level? Apart from that scenario are there other ways rthe pairing can be lost because having to bring the vane down from the mast in that case would be a real pain.
If the wind sensor is exposed to sun, the battery should last for more than 5 years since it is being recharged daily. If pairing is lost it should be due to other reasons like poor coverage between the bluetooth antenna and the wind sensor or interference from other Bluetooth devices.
There are no special procedures to be done via software, so the main data will be shown. Maybe you won't see the status of the battery and the pairing signal if it is good or not but AWA and AWS will be read.

Helped me pair my new wind sensor.

If i disconnect my boat batteries and lose power to my NEMA 2000 backbone will I have to climb up to bring the unit down to pair it again?

Following the steps you show. But no joy
Hello which is the oficial FB page for B&G I am having the issue@@BandG

Is this unit compatible with a Garmin MFD and can it be configured through a Garmin unit, or does it only work with B&G MFD’s? Thanks.
