CR is very expensive for Central America, but it's still cheaper than Europe & North America. An avg hotel room will cost $70 usd, you can find cheap meals for around $5 usd, but most are over $10, and activities are around $100 usd. Hope this helps, have a great time. Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
We purchased them on the Manual Antonio website. manuelantoniopark.com/park-info/ I hope you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching & being a subscriber 💛
Thank you for sharing this video. We're visiting MA tomorrow morning. I'm glad you included the info about the mirador trail. We have an elderly mother with us whose best mobility is on flat ground. Are the other trails "friendly" for her? I'm asking mainly to be prepared as well as possible.
Hi @@dxcomic Honestly , I'm not sure. We took a backpack with us that had bottled water in it, but we stopped and had food at the souvenir shop inside the park.
Glad you liked it!! We stayed at Wide Mouth Frog Hostel in Quepos. We liked it because of the cheap prices, nice pool, plenty of seating and hang out space, but it was very very hot with no AC in our room, they have rooms with AC, we highly recommend you spend the extra money to get AC. We hope you have a great trip!! Thanks for watching and subscribing ♥️
@@MaddieTravel Hostels can be fun, did u guys venture out to other cities? The terrain is challenging there so I'm trying to select another city with cool attractions nearer to SJO. 🌴
@@mellanese Yes we spent about 6 weeks in CR and honestly Manuel Antonio was our least favorite :/ We did San Jose, La Fortuna, Liberia, Playa del Coco and Quepos. We have an entire playlist on CR you should definitely check them out :)
Just got back from three weeks in Costa Rica. We loved the country and had a fantastic time. However, Manuel Antonio is very over rated and resembles a Disneyland attraction. Thousands of tourists and a few white faced monkeys looking for hand outs. For the real deal you have to trek further south to Corcovado National Park. Two hours by car (or van) and another 1 1/2 by speedboat. Day starts at 4 AM but it is worth it. Check it out on the map. Very isolated and not for the weak and lazy. We saw more animals in an hour than you can believe. Three types of monkeys, sloths, tapirs, lizards, crocs, toucan's, macaws, etc. and beautiful scenery. My friends are amazed at my videos. I highly recommend skipping Manuel Antonio and head to Corcovado for a true adventure.
Is the park pretty big to the point where you have to have a shuttle around? How did you guys go around the park? I'm actually going in a few days and was thinking of probably staying in the nearby town like you mentioned
Once in the park, vehicles are not allowed (only work/service vehicles) so it’s all walking. We highly recommend you go early in the morning to beat the heat and some of the crowds. We hope you have a great time!! Thanks for watching and being a subscriber 💛
@@MaddieTravel thank you for letting me know! Headed out there next week! I actually just subscribed to you! Went on RUclips to search up information about this place 👌 looking forward to all of your guys's new adventures in the near future 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
He's a great person, sometimes it can be hard to present the best versions of ourselves on camera, especially during long, hot filming days. But he is out of the picture now.... Thanks for watching & being a subscriber 🫶

Sorry you feel that way! Travel is sometimes stressful and we try to be authentic with our viewers and not portray everything as perfect! Hope you give us another chance!

Going next month! I live in Florida and it's been too cold here at a high in the 60s and lows in 40s.... lol I love the heat. Can't wait

Great one! We're coming next september and got intrigued by the "CR it's expensive" - how much expensive you'd say? Cheers!

Thank you for sharing about Manuel Antonio with the world! That's where my favorite beach is, Espadilla 2!
Of course and thanks for watching! It was a blast but man, Costa Rica is hot so you need a beach to cool off at!
@@MaddieTravel is it hot 🔥

Wow! Those are the most colorful crabs we’ve seen! You’ve seen such cool wildlife on this trip.
Ya, they grabbed our attention immediately!! Costa Rica has so much diversity, it’s amazing.
Pat is really honest and hilarious! Love watching you guys and the comments crack me up 😂 😅😅

Eddie- do you know if they let you leave the park to eat and come back since you can’t take food in?

I love this. I like the idea of a good guy bad guy narrative.
Where one tries to not complain while the other is just like
Fuck it
We always try to keep it real 😂 thanks for watching!

Not very informative. Where were you exactly?? You provided regional areas of where you were but not exactly what trail or park you were at.
We were in Manuel Antonio Park, throughout the video we say which areas were at. We hope you enjoyed, thanks for watching!!
He is too negative and vulgar for me!
