Loved this beautiful paradise, and Quepos. But the iguanas there will chase you! And the Halloween crabs are really neat too. Definitely don’t see anything like that here in Texas. We drove from San Jose airport to Quepos and Manuel Antonio which was totally amazing. Definitely worth every penny, so much to see and just breathtaking! Can’t wait to go back one day!
Love Manuel Antonio and Quepos. One of my most favorite places in the world.
We really enjoyed Quepos and our tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. Total bucket list activity.
You have the most helpful videos! And you are always so nice to watch, with you're friendly, positive attitude.
Going there in a few months, awesome video! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for all the helpful tips mr!
im from Costa Rica, i hope you liked it ♡ love your videos.
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Great tips! Heading there this week.
I stayed in one of the hotels at Manuel Antonio. it was off the main drag going into town and across the street was a restaurant that was built out of an old airplane. It was on the side of a cliff that gave you a fantastic view of the sunset. Incredible place I will definitely be going back there.
Spent one day in manuel Antonio and loved it, headed back for a week there!
Excellent preview.
Thank you for this video about Manuel Antonio!
I love to see the sloths smiling 😊
Very nice video... thanks for sharing. Pura vida!
one of the most beautiful places on earth
I went to Costa Rica with my dad in April and we went to Manuel Antonio and I was in the national park and we saw the coolest things! I enjoyed this video
Great advice!!!! Thank you!
Awesome video, thank you!! Looks like the park is closed Tuesdays now instead of Mondays 🙏
Thanks . Great stuff to know
Thanks for all the great information!

🏝⛰🌞
Been there! Loved Costa Rica. Our hotel made reservations for us to go to the park.
Which hotel did you stay at and how was it?
Great video
How very likable you are!
hey thanks bro, im looking into going here for my vlog here on youtube.
I'm here right now!
Thanks for the information, wes helpful.. any suggestion on where we can stay ?
Gracias
At the park entrance, certified guides with big tall telescopes lead guests thru in small groups. They know flora and fauna well. They set up the telescopes and the group sees so much more than you realize is there. Frogs, birds, butterflies, ants, wasps, groves of trees, 3 kinds of sloths. we tipped our guide well. She gave us great eyes to see more then we realized was there.
Pura vida!! lol
This is making me want to go to Costa Rica right this second! Unfortunately school is in the way of that 😉 Great video, as usual :)
I hear you. I'm back at it this week.
+OnTheGoWithCarson Yes, you should! By the way, Mark, you forgot to say they don't allow some kinds of food inside, I'm not exactly sure what they let you take inside, but even then, you should be careful, the pizotes (raccoons) WILL open your bags (they know how to open zippers).
One additional safety concern is the Manzanilla Tree on Espadilla Sure Beach. They are extremely poisonous. See the signs in the trail for more info.
Costa Rica see you on April 27
Go To Ixtapa Zihuatanejo , It's Very Beautiful , I Went There I Recommend It 🏊🏼🏊🏼🏊🏼🏊🏼
Great video, how do you go about booking a guide for Manuel Antonio national park?
I dated a girl from CR so I had the advantage of being with a local. I would say if you can travel with a native spanish speaker bc you'll get the best deals. We ran into some marginal issues with bringing stuff into the park but we pretty much got into the park problem. Everyone was very friendly. I def paid more then my gf at the time bc like you said foreigners pay more but it was totally worth it.
90 degrees and humid and hot. Count me out.
I would say avoid at all costs weekends and holidays. Try to go during the workday. I used to go thee when there were only 3 small hotels in all Manuel Antonio and it was amazing. Not anymore it is just crazy...
thats sad to hear. I remember being there in 2010. I hope it hasnt changed much. I love that place
I wanna travel with you!!! :)
Excellent video Mark! I was there in 2006. A few notes:
1.) Sunblock is necessary like you say. On the road to the park there is a sign that says "8 degrees North latitude".
2.) Did you see the crocodiles by the bridge on the road to Quepos? (It's the closest city to Manuel Antonio.)
3.) Is there still a one-lane bridge on the road to Quepos?
4.) The Quepos area is a big destination for the LGBT community if anyone in those groups is interested. For those who are not you probably won't even notice.
5.) I would like to suggest staying at La Mariposa Hotel. You get a good view of those islands just off the beach that you feature at the beginning of the video and they have an infinity pool overlooking the Pacific.
We did see the bridge and the croc's. Thanks for all the extra info too. Very helpful stuff.
The roads have gotten much better the last few years but yeah that one lane bridge right when you come into town is still there :)
Great travels to you!
Hey there loved the video! great quality! just got a few questions of you dont mind, thankyou. how do you travel with your family so much? do you only go on their school breaks or do you just home school them? And your job must be so flexible! what is it you do if i may ask, or do you travel full time?
great content! keep it up!!!!!
Flexible job and every break.
woltersworld oh ok
We really cut back our spending on a lot of things. If you see me in real life I wear my Wolters world shirts way too often :)
Hi @woltersworld just a quick question
Have you ever visited Australia and if not would you?
Awesome if you could make a video on Australia
I would love to go back. I was an exchange student there when I was in high school and loved it.
What time of the year was this recorded? :-)
Great video!! I loved the park, I made a video about it too on my channel 😍
Will you guys do a video on Moscow or Singapore someday?
Moscow should be summer 2016 and Singapore summer 2017.
woltersworld All right, thanks! I really enjoy your videos! The Berlin video really helped me with my trip to Berlin.
+woltersworld Moscow-YES. I was there in 1999&2000
Hates: expensive, grumpy people with poor english skills, crazy traffic
Likes: Excellent public transport, lots of interesting museums
SkandikFilm Hates for me would be: expensive, bias towards Americans, lack of english. Loves: Amazing looking city, great public transit.
First and 88888 subs lol
+Mi lo awesome on both counts :)
what's the weather there in January?
Great video as always. Mark, my god you looked very hot compared to a week ago when I watched your Oslo videos. Many thanks Mark.
It was 95F that day and no clouds. I didn't film too much there as the camera kept fogging up. I'm more built for Norway I think
grab a coconut for 2 bucks on the beach. freakin awesome.
My mom named me Manuel Antonio because of this beach I’m 42 years old And I can only imagine how beautiful this place was when my mom walked around There years ago, One thing that bothers me though, is that they charge you guys $16 to get in the park but they can’t fix a freaking hole on the walkway let alone the guard rails, it’s embarrassing sorry guys in the name of Costa Rica.
the guard rails also have fire ants on them
Can I bring a drone into the park?
no beach chairs on the beach???
You´re not fooling me! That's not work, that's vacation.
have you ever visited to luxembourg
+woltersworld have you ever visited to India
Not yet sadly. But one day
umbrellaz help2
And hats.
what about poisonous snakes? ins't costa rica loaded with deadly snakes. Is it a taboo topic?
Its tha same for other countries but you dont see them in months here
I loved Manuel Antonio but those cameras which show you the animal, is not as éxiting as it sound! Me and my family decided to just go to the beach. Is amazing
But the animals that were shown were for stupids! Once it has a picture of a snake ! It was not there!!!
16 for walk into the nature ??? thats crazy nature is free
Most national parks around the world have an admission fee. Boohoo, bitch
Pura vida!! lol
Amen!!!
