I think we got rid of too many quality players in the transfer. The ones who are left and no disrespect are what people didn’t want for a reason. We miss Berge, Odobert and Vitinho. Hi quality players weren’t replaced and Luca on the wrong side.
The majority of Burnley fans we have now have probably been spoilt in the last 15 years.but the experienced Clarets with 55 years watching realise what bad is and this is nowhere near bad.all i'll say is be careful what you wish for or we'll end up like dozens of ex prem clubs in div1and div 2.we have been punching above our weight and we will again but we need to be patient after losing £100 million worth of players just 3 months ago UTC
@@davidholgate123 so if your squad is far better than ours, why didn’t you beat us then? Genuine question. We out fought you and in the 2nd half out played you, all the while our players were having to fight against a biased and generally useless ref. We should have had a penalty in the first half when your player literally pulled Cooper to the ground in your box (with the ref so close to where it happened). To balance that, Ward was equally useless when he should have given Burnley a free kick when Saville had hold of your players shirt way OUTSIDE our penalty box and still didn’t blow up when Saville was still holding him in our penalty box. It was a miracle that Ward didn’t then award you a penalty (which he could have done) but overall, most of the decisions went your way.
@@andrewroberts299 Because we're badly managed... 2 or 3 Millwall players get into our squad on paper at most but unfortunately we don't play on paper and are badly coached and have a manager that is tactically inept and also seriously bad at substitutions... He's also playing 3 or 4 players out of position... The balance is all wrong because of the manager!... Yes we have a lot of injuries and on paper, even those 11 or so players we have out injured are better than that Millwall team you had out last night, you're a bang average team and that's being polite and that's the whole point why a lot of fans want our manager Parker to go!... We should not be losing to agricultural teams like yours, by either being out-fought or tactically, it's all on our manager... That's not being arrogant, it's just fact, barring one or two teams, this league is absolutely awful, the worst I've ever seen quality wise and a team with our talents should not be struggling to even get a point against the poorer teams like we have been doing!... You played reasonably well but that's only because we played about 10% of our capabilities... With a good manager and coaching team we're beating you comfortably and with a fully fit squad and a good manager we're honestly beating you 4 or 5 nil, that's the difference in quality... I've watched football for 40+ years and the quality of this league is horrific and you're an average team in that type of quality, we shouldn't be struggling with the players we have available, it's as simple as that... If only scorelines were decided by quality though ☺️ Organisation, tactical set-up, coaching, substitutions and team selection play a massive part.
Andrew I don,t want Parker out, because this team are their own worse enemy, Having watched the highlights,I still believe that Burnley will not be promoted this season.UTC👍👏⚽️❤️
I’m not sure it’s too early to consider sacking Parker. We are a quarter of the way into the season and without a doubt are going backwards. Each game the comments from fans in general suggest it’s the worst performance. Listening to Parker in his post match interview was imo simply excuses. He doesn’t know how to put things right and I’m not sure I would trust him to bring in the right players either.
Scott is beginning to sound a lot like company did when he ran out of ideas. Hope a big club comes in for Scott 😊
Here’s a strange thought for you. You got beat by a side that wanted it more on the day and outplayed you. !!!
I agree

We still have a far better squad than most teams in this league and a far better squad than the likes of Millwall who we just lost to!
