Bought the HD version, but it's a back killer. Got it with the case, and that turned out to be a very smart move. Most difficult part of assembly, is lifting the top section (that includes the chains) on top of the upper pole. Note, and this probably applies to ALL practice baskets: Set it up on LEVEL ground. If you don't the chains will shift to one side.
Yes! It’s a basket you don’t want to move often! Mine is moved in Spring to the backyard, Fall to the basement and once a summer on a vacay! And yes, the chains are heavy to lift up. Thanks for your comment!
I found the gauge and depth of the HD cage enticing enough to pay the extra $20. The added weight is a trade off, but I find the basket light enough for portability. I recommend the transit bag whichever basket you choose.
I bought 3 three of the Axiom Pro HD baskets (same as MVP). W love them, but for reasons unknown, the chains on one have rusted really bad. The other 2 look new. They've never seen rain.
I'm still just using the lite, and the thing I hate the most about it is how many puts pop out of the basket. Going to have to get an HD since I just leave it in the yard, and transport is not an issue.
Don't go with the HD. The Pro has a smaller window to put the discs in, and doesn't spit discs out! With the being said, the Pro is a way better practice basket
i keep it in trunk of car so if i wanna take it to field i just pull up with it walk it out 100ft and ez pz.. im not lugging it round all over the place.. dont see why you would any basket but hey do you! takes like 1min to setup love the basket.. wish was waterproof only issue..

Couldn’t agree more! It’s a must!!!
Great comparison Ryan and Ryan. The information is always great to have to make informed buying decisions..keep it up!
Decided on pro hd because it’s not much more in price so I figure might as well get highest quality
I just did the same thing actually. I had a Pro and figured why not upgrade! These baskets hold their value pretty well, at least in our community.
Got the pro, stays in one spot year round in my back yard and works great
Starting a putting league at a local brewery and buying the HDs! Hope they are worth it!
Have you tried using a large based cart/dolley to move the HD?
Have not!

Have you reached out to MVP/Axiom? Might be worth speaking to them...

Great idea!!! That’s what I ended up doing!

I'm using an innova skill shot from the earl 00's. Sick basket still
That’s awesome!!!
Will these baskets rust if they’re left outside all the time? Looking to build a course on my property but don’t want to spend 500 on a basket
In my experience the threaded part that screws together can get corroded/rusty, but the baskets hold up pretty well
Yeah, looked wobbly in this video.
Great insight. Thx gents!
You bet!
The pro has a smaller window to put the disc in. With that being said. It's my humble opinion that the pro is the better basket, for practice.
The Pro is a great basket!
Great video. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
I have both and can report the PRO chains will rust a lot faster than the HD chains
Interesting!!! Thanks so much for your feedback.
i got the Pro HD
love it
