Are you in Colorado? I’m seriously considering a Ranger. Probably will be an FX4 instead. Mostly because I can’t afford the Tremer. I’ll be curious to see how you like it.
Hey Mark, yup I’m based in Denver! The FX4 is solid, man. Especially if you plan to build it out to your own specs. Biggest thing for me was being able to keep the payload while still having an exceptional suspension package. All the other midsized trucks lose payload on their top off-road trims. Trd-pro, zr2, etc. Anyway, I honestly don’t think you’d be disappointed. The truck is so fun to drive and so far has handled everything I’ve thrown at it with ease
@@GetBusyLivin The dealer said if I ordered the Velocity Blue one I wanted, 10 weeks!. So they have a Shadow Black one coming in that they ordered for the showroom that I put a hold deposit on.. hopefully less than a month. XLT
How is it overall? I hear certain people saying there’s lots of lag with the turbo. Also heard the transmission shifts can be all over the place. I like what I see though.
Hey I'll try to be unbiased here, but so far I'm honestly loving it. I will say there is some lag but I've never driven a turbocharged engine without at least some lag. Especially when it's not a sports car. The truck is quick and so far the pros far outweigh the cons. I might look into a ford performance tune later in the year after I've added all the mods I want. As far as transmission shifts, I don't notice that at all. I've already put nearly 1k miles on a lot of those are mountain miles and can't say I've noticed any crazy shifting. Most annoying thing so far is just all the alerts that are enabled from factory. I'm used to an old analog FJ and this thing has so many bells and whistles it can be overwhelming. Again, pros far outweigh the cons in my opinion.
@@seadoo4life127 lol from what I've seen all the midsize truck interiors are a bit underwhelming, but I really don't care much for a huge screen and all that. The F-150 though...that interior is next level. Probably same for Silverado/Sierra
Good choice; better than the Colorado & Tacoma IMO. Drove all three & the Ford is my favorite … power delivery, comfort, & interior design. 🇺🇸👍🏻
Congrats!
Looking forward to your review and seeing how well the Ranger Tremor does on and off road for you. Well done video.

@@GetBusyLivin it’s funny so many people say that interior is dated. I drive a Chevy ZR2. Now that’s dated. 😬

@@GetBusyLivin The Silverado and Sierra are still a mess. 2022 they are doing a redesign. Anyway enjoy the truck. Looks super cool.
