My name is Dayton and I'm an airsoft sniper from BC Canada. Ever since I started airsoft I've been addicted to the long range game. that's why I play as a sniper. I have some knowledge of CQB and urban play but if you see me out in the field, chances are I'm out there with my Tokyo Marui VSR10 and MK23.

I think bubbles needs a speaker so it can make deadly threats with a cute voice or something and you could play lovely ice cream truck music while going around looking for victims.

If you're making a tank, you just gotta upgrade the armor.
If people are gonna shoot at it, having everything 3D printed is is just a death sentence in the making. Have a protective skirt over the threads, maybe get a dome for bubbles top with a vertical barrel slot for the up/down motion and a goggles-reinforced window for the fpv and have the dome fixed to the top part. It doesn't need more firepower, it's a close range, low joule, full auto, but so are the opponent(except) they seemed from the last vid to not treat bubbles to a minimal engagement distance. Perhaps have bubbles hold a sign on the front with that message:
I'm 1 joules, respect your minimal engagement distance

I’m so glad that you’re still doing this! At first I was quite disparaging because of the mobility issues. It felt like you were sending handicapped kids onto the battlefield armed only with knives. However, you persevered through the awkward learning stages and are now building things that are capable and present real challenges to your opponents.
I commend you, and am looking forward to your future work!
Now that you have a bigger bed, add quick change compartments for all the batteries so they are separate from each other. You could also add a box mag for the pistol since you have more room. Less winding, more shooting. You could also lower the turret so that it is right over the tracks so it harder to hit. Add a claymore to the front and back for clearing rooms. Or if people get to close. Just some ideas. Also Dayton you are awesome and keep up the cool work.

Tip if you try to do this and have the money - get a prebuilt rc car and add a layer of Kevlar fabric around it as armour. (That’s all the movement done) then you can add an fpv and a gun. Do the gun first because the fpv junk has to go on the gun for the best experience. (Also use a rc helicopter controller for it so you can actually control the gun). Alternatively you can use 2 controllers and have 2 fpv cameras and get a buddy to either drive or shoot
Dayton you never fail to make me laugh. Your the best, long live bubbles also maybe put spikes on the new inner track wheels of the tank, it looks like they might slip when they come in contact with the 3D printer bike chain tracks.

I’ve been a fan of airsoft and RC, but I kind of fell off on both of the hobbies. This video inspired me to make a bubbles with aluminum armor.
I would say maybe add a solid plate armor that screws in to keep internals safe as well as a bottom plate that is decently thick as well.
Add a red light to bubbles, and during night. Add night vision. Make it red so the enemy gets scared

Loved Bubble's combat video. Looking forward to more. Suggests a carry handle or attachment holes that will let any1 with a couple bungee cords haul Bubbles 6 off their harness. What color will Bubbles 6 be?
You should design it kinda like an LVT, if you get some of the ratios right you should have more room for batteries and other things
I would ad some armor on the side if the track to stop stuff like sticks coming in there and blocking the wheels (and it looks cool)
Some idea regarding the power train: use some high-shore TPU filament for the chain-parts to build up more friction and to avoid damaging it on concrete surfaces.

You should add skirt and shirt armor to protect the tracks.

The tracks are good, but think about adding scoops to the tracks to add traction. Have a look at early WW II tanks. It will help it climb roots and tree limbs.
I know it may add a smidge extra work to things but you should make a mini inner chassis so that when bubbles mk5 is stuck, mini or mk2.5 bubbles can drive out of the main chassis like Batman’s motorcycle leaving the batmobile

I like the Highcap Servo:-D Very smart.
To solve the multiple battery issue, you can just put a capacitor in parallel with the system and it will absorb the noise. This is what pepole use for fpv drones to prevent motor noise from getting to the vtx. You can also put the pistol on it sideways to lower the cg. Or another idea is using a hpa pistol and a small airtank on the back. The turret just generally looks like junk to me, maybe use an rc tank model as a base and put fpv on it. At least the turret of an rc tank on a car body to make it faster. The vtx probably shouldnt be exposed, only the camera, to cool the vtx just use a small fan. If my field would allow this stuff I'd make it myself..
Lots of great ideas. I ran into a lot of problems as I was actually building one. Initially I wanted to have the gun sideways but I only had 3 weeks in total for the project, so a new hopup wasn't on the menu, without that I'd have no accuracy. similarly in respect to cooling, and more complicated hpa guns, I needed to conserve power and space, mostly because I didn't have supplies for the custom batteries yet. don't worry the updated version will better exemplify my design ideas. as for the "junk look of bubbles" my primary goal for all my death robots, is to be as adorable and janky as possible.... but still effective. I could design an unkillable death robot and kill everyone in the game but where's the fun in that, everyone I play with has their flaws and if bubbles is going to win MVP of the next DFE too, he needs to have his shortcomings.

You should add armor to the treads to not wear down the suspension to an unbelievable amount

Plastic isnt that good for grip o add rubber to the track plates. Cut up a bike tire or use rubber spray.

ooh, big boi bubbles :) i feel like he needs more firepower now he'll be able to carry it, maybe nov can sponsor like a ssr90 or 2 for you to mutate into a better turret. longer range, higher ROF, add tracers..Maybe some NVG/ optics company could be swayed to sponsor you a thermal sight, so bubbles can have full-blown predator vision, imagine tht!! move over Arnie, there's a new badass in town :p and ofc : some HIDDEN 40mm launchers on the side. next time some yahoo tries to tip over bubbles, press the magic button ^^

I'm trying to make every part of bubbles using plain old pla, I've used lots of different filament but I'm taking this as a challenge, and a break to my wallet haha

give bubbles rubber treads? if we want the boi to be strong boi we go for the real strong not the silly weak strong, making bubbles even more strong. bubbles should be big strong instead of slightly average strong.

Not sure if you covered it, but is the 360 cam still self powered or does it run on the RC battery?
The 360 cam works similar to a gopro, it has an exchangeable internal battery. Nothing more than slapping it on, give some protection, and press record :D
Oh also, the insta 360 I have has like double the battery of a gopro, so lucky for me, one less thing to worry about. If you're interested I think it's the "insta 360 one rs"

Good news actually, an amendment to the bill proposed by the NDP was made which removed the part that affected airsoft. The amendment passed, so airsoft is safe for now.
