@Brickford City Fire some states you have rich people telling the poor people to "buy evs" and they do but sometimes canadian winters are just too cold. I had a family member who owned a tesla and it got cold enough that it wouldn't run in the morning at all. Sold it after that and went back to a gas vehicle
what you can maybe do is instead of using balls that move around alot the wind, maybe try something like a hacky sac that wont hurt if dropped but also will be a bit heavier to not go off course. adds a bit of accuracy... or you could maybe make something like a small box that can open from the bottom and basically just drop a load of bbs on an area.
I did this with my FPV drone, it has its front props and back props on different levels. so i made a container that fits under the back half and a servo to move a block so i can carpet bomb with BBs.
Just an idea, but have you looked into nerf guns? Nerf guns have come a long way, there are some that can reach 250 fps! For reference, stock nerf is normally 70 fps. Check out Half dart nerf guns, they achieve the best performance.
Maybe you could add some kind of heated compartment for the battery. Nothing fancy, just to keep it at ideal temperature, so it doesn't freeze and subsequently falls to its death, every time it's a bit colder outside. 😁

Here in Florida it was cold for like 2 weeks around the 25th, but the coldest it got at night was 50 degrees... Now its consistently 70-85 degrees every day, and for the spring/summer 90-100 degrees at noon yeah play airsoft at that time and you'll collapse.
It might be a good thing that lithium batteries and cold don't mix or else the Canadians would takeover Detroit with rc mortar drones. On second thought they can have Detroit
they kinda are, just need a little more weight, maybe a few bb's or dry beans inside would do the job without making them to heavy and accidentaly hurting someone
