Tycho goes full loyalist piloting an army of Space Marines known as the Shadow Vipers. So much custom work here.
The enemy is Andrew from the deep south commanding a beautiful army of Guard lovingly converted from Kharadon Overlords.
The whole game is a feast for the eyes. And the game itself might surprise you!

Tycho is my FAVORITE. When Tycho and Nick play each other it’s just this amazing wave of positivity and humor. So wholesome.
My favorite is he cheers when anything explodes. Even if it's his own tank and only wounds his own units. My man's just loves when things go boom.

This is seriously my favorite wargaming channel
All of them are really great, top tier entertainment from top tier entertainers.
Yet somehow Tycho still stands out above the rest.
Tycho may be the child of chaos, but he is the fun uncle of PlayOn. Nick is the energetic younger sibling to big brother JT guiding you thru the game.
What a barnstormer of a game. Those models in both armies looked awesome. Hope you can have Andrew back again too!

Both armies are absolutely beautiful, those invictor warsuits, the helmet on the redemptor and the bladeguard are amazing
The dice roll ASMR in this video was particularly nice.
This may have been two of my favorite custom armies that i've seen. What a fun game as well. "That's MY bad luck!" - Tycho, had me rolling.

I could only imagine if Tycho would have won, the scene would flip to Shadow Viper Apothecaries harvesting gene-seed, followed by a zoom-in on an Apothecary Narthecium Gauntlet with tiny cheers of victory coming from the gene-seed in the stasis tubes. 😂

I'd like to see how this would play out in 10th. Making vehicles vehicles again is going to be a big change up. Those Lemans would be even more of a threat.

I’ve heard about this game many times, but I don’t know anything about it. Watching this video, though, makes it look awesome as all hell. I love tabletop games.
Absolutely outstanding energy from Andrew, and Tycho is, as always, a role model.
The shadow vipers get rolled out seldom enough that I rediscover their awesome paint job all over again.

no no no No NO. People must understand this video is not just some high quality production, it features a unique mix of qualities from the other Bat Reps out there (including other PoT vids).
First and foremost I have to give credit to the guest player; besides it being his first battle report appearance on the channel, he was an avid character to watch. He not only played his army well and understood how it worked but put on an awesome show. However, this brings me to my second point: He ran a unique YET familiar list for Imperial Guard, and understood how it worked, AND IT WASN'T BORN SOLDIERS! Everyone has boiled IG down to "Who doesn't take Born Soldiers" while simultaneously managing to forget to use the ability. How about something more interesting and tactical. Well here it is. All while bringing FAN favorite units like hell hound variants (that got a BUNCH OF EXPLOSIONS, this is a case of the dice gods blessing good play) and rando tanks that only Long beards know, and that subsequently get annihilated before getting to show what it does LMAO.
This was such a good battle, Tycho wanted to go first, he got first. He wanted to rush up and get up in his face and did so, but then Guard opened up with a huge volley of plasma to weather his main damage. WITHOUT BORN SOLDIERS. People don't understand how big it is that he did not use that regimental doctrine, anyway... Its then a scramble to see who can score the most points and disrupte the enemy while The Guard are just laying waste to marines. This is such a different experience from almost EVERY single bat rep from PoT of Imperial Guard. Tanya's battle rep at the end of 8th edition/ beginning of 9th and the Grot Guard ones were the best before this. The Guard did well without BS (haha) and it was a close match nonetheless because Tycho is a very tactical player and it was an awesome battle to watch. I'd love to see Andrew back again, good game guys.

Tycho had a battle on two fronts. First an experienced player with a great army and secondly Captain Dice Rolls (yes that's what we call them here) failed him so many times. It was a great fight all. love your vids!
I honestly didn't think the IG Squats was gonna pull off a win, Tycho was just steam rolling the first 2 turns
