Your videos are so under appreciated. I love how you talk slowly and also explain everything thoroughly. There are so much topics you cover that are very hard to find else where on the internet. Thanks!

Thank you so much, finally a comprehensible and properly explaining video!
Sorry, this will be a long comment, but I just have to share my thoughts.
I love content creators like you, who explain everything in detail, calmly and clearly.
Unfortunately, there are less and less of them these days...
This is partly understandable, because the viewers and the current society want to solve everything in 3 minutes, they are impatient and only the final solution is important to them. They don't care about why something has to be solved or set up in a certain way. But (in my opinion at least) it is just as important.
Even among my acquaintances, many of them click on the video on a certain "explanatory" topic that is the shortest. These are usually "mind-numbingly short" to make them appear as a very brief and easy DIY solution.
Then of course they replay each section 10 times, which ends up spending three times as much time...
I'm glad you didn't cut it down to a 3 minute video, I was able to follow you practically in real-time and successfully created a guest network, and even limited the download and upload bandwidth on the guest network (it's useless to share 200 up and 1000 down while having some beer with a friend, who may want to show us something or post pictures... so I set it to 10 up and 50 down, which I think is plenty).
Thank you very much, keep up the good work. If people are really interested, they will definitely watch those videos wich explain everything in details and which are a few minutes longer.
Maybe your audience will grow more slowly, but for sure you will get subscribers who really want to see a detailed and quality contet. And they will stay subscibed and keep watching your videos. As for me, I'm sure! 🙂

Are your other WiFi networks are working properly? If so, you may want to toggle the guest WiFi network off and on again, and then try resetting your router. The bottom line is your guest network shouldn’t be having issues if the other networks aren’t having issues. Hopefully this sorts things out

Is it possible you signed into your modem’s settings instead of your router’s settings? If you are connected to your router’s setting the guest WiFi setting may be in the advanced or “network” settings sections. I hope this helps

Help. I am seeing a Wifi network with my router name/number with the word "guest" added - as if we set up a guest network with our router name ( you know... with the name and numbers that have letters too). We have not set-up a wifi guest network. Could someone have used my router to use for themselves - or to spy on me?? But no one else has stayed here.

It’s possible this is the case, but also your brother might broadcast a guest network by default. To verify safe, you may want to change the password for your router’s settings. Also, while you’re in your router’s setting you will want to ensure there is no first network being broadcast (and disable it if it is). I hope this helps!

What you can do, you can add your guest network with a password or with no password

You are correct! You have the option of requiring a password for your guest network, or making it so a password isn’t required
