I knew u will like it Sriman, a lot of people are msging me about this Motorcycle after they watched some recent hate video about this bike. Guys plz don't fall prey of agendas by RUclipsrs, some people take things to ego n just try to influence everyone else (they have done that many times in tha past as well)... I would say avoid Negative people, plz test ride yourself, this bike is a great value for money product and we should always encourage such Motorcycles n brands.
I agree their were issues with service centers eaelier but I am sure with increase of service centers it will get better...

You r rit brother I saw one video on yesterday someone exposed thm that since some of their rides are sponsored by Hero and xpulse anf so indirectly Harley therefore they made this hate video on triumph as Triumph is associated with Bajaj and Baja denied to sponsor them in past when they owned dominar even that time they defame dominar as well

I am in a delimma I remember when bajaj launched the KTM Duke in india the first two lots had some major issues like heating and fuel pump issues which later got fixed by bajaj/ktm in the upcoming batches on the basis of customer feedback, Can this be the issue with Triumph speed 400 as well?
I took a test drive today and the experience was wonderful the fit and finish is just fantastic, also I am among the first 10k customer to book this they mentioned i can get the bike delivered by 25th of this month however I am a bit skeptical about the user testing done on this bike.
Your suggestions are most welcome.

This bike is for youth and city rides. For family people it is not because seat length is less so not comfortable for pillion for long rides. Driver needs to lean forward which strain your back on long rides. So For City and shorter commutes its a idle bike for long rides go for RE or HD 440X(if it not makes you lean).
Try double barrel exhaust that comes with scrambler for speed it’s an accessory

Many influencers on various platforms are just keeps on trying to break the people loves over Street 400 by showing alot of hatred against it and in the end starts praising X440 and thats where most of the peeps understands what they are trying to do. Those influencers got trust on unfinished X440 saying that company will launch a production variant soon and not on the already finished bike running on the road

We should consider their reviews but ultimately we are spending on the bike. So we should test ride the vehicle and make a decision whether to buy it or not 🥴
Lmao. This is absolutely not the case. Bajaj is known behind the scenes for paying reviewers. There were far many people praising the Speed 400 over the x440 during their press launch. But now after the press launch has ended, people have started to say what they actually feel.
The speed 400 is a good bike by all measures. But just that isnt enough. You need a distinct character for it to be memorable and this bike lacks it. This is where the x440 shines, the way it lays down the power is distinct to it, which you cant say the same for the triumph as its very boring in that regard.
When you ride the bike you dont stare at it. The rough edges can be smoothed out before launch, the feel of the bike cant be and that hero and harley have nailed already. That bike is a lot more memorable than the speed 400.
But again, go test ride the bikes by yourself and dont just base your opinion on what the reviewers have to say. I havent booked either of them and when buying bikes, the first lot of buyers are usually just guinea pigs to see what needs to be improved. I'd save my money for the second lot.
It's true their service sucks
We all ignore the fact that they keep mentioning introductory price. I beleive they dont just mean the 10K discount. I think the 2.33 lkhs ex showroom is an inaugral price itself. I think they are gonna raise the prices next year for sure. Typically they are just doing what JIO did with free internet. Once you got a lot of bikes out there you'll automatically gain people's trust. Then the show just goes on.

Test rode the bike yesterday - amazing machine. Just one concern was the engine heat - my legs were feeling pretty warm through the ride especially in stop and go traffic. Don't know if it was because the test ride bike was in use for a long time, or is a genuine concern. What are your thoughts on the engine heat, Sriman?
It will heat in the long run its a high compression engine. Depends on the kind of traffic you face in your city as well. I too felt engine heating while riding it. I don't think it's just a test ride bike issue.
I did a 20 minute test ride long after the hype died down. The bike I got was probably ridden for the first time that day, and I did not feel any heat whatsoever. Traffic was moderate
This is not a splendor, it is a 40 bhp 400 cc engine, it will heat up.
From what I've heard it actually hits 150 pretty easy and goes till 170 .
Thats a case of faulty speedometer, Autocar India has confirmed this in their review.

Bajaj has been a Most trust brand and Especially when it comes Premium bikes (Not Superbikes). Triumph also wouldn't be any different. They are newly starting to ace up, maybe there could be some delay but In long run these bikes would be more reliable
I am 5-4 and quite comfortable on all bikes like Fz25-Hunter-RE & Honda all 350 cc bikes, slightly problem I had with Vstrom 250 which also I could ride in a city traffic, quite crowded

Mt15 is just 141 kg so it’ll obviously be more nimbler. It depends on your weight as well when u are riding

Cruiser from Triumph would have been a killer.. These roadsters get dirty quickly because the way they are in their back.. Back tyre is not covered completely...i personally do not like it..i would buy a cruiser of Triumph comes up with one..

Not quite. As the engine is the same, but the different wheel size and more suspension travel might make a difference in handling

I like the bike.....but service is big let down...there is not proper service center near to place i live...need to travel a min off 100 kms to get the service done💔

Depends on your inseam length. I test rode the bike and I'm 171 cm (slightly more than 5'7") and my feet were almost flat with normal sneakers. The bike is pretty light and well balanced so I think you can easily manage
