They terminated me in December while I was being treated for sciatica, viral pneumonia, and covid in December. They also tried to fire me in December of 2014 when I had the flu (I'm certain that I caught it there) until I was coughing my head off in the small HR room and they FINALLY told me to call and see if I could be approved for Short Term Disability (I was). They could have easily told me that over the phone.
I knew someone at amazon who had to be out a lot for medical reasons, and at some point his insurance was cut off because he didn’t work enough hours to qualify for insurance anymore
I got sun sickness on my first week, This heat and humidity kicked my ass. Scarey, i really enjoy the idea of the job but the mid afternoon hours is almost a crime to make people do it here. Somehow people are doing but you need to eat a big big ass breakfast, cover your arms, a big sombrero hat, and non-sugar electrolyte packs. I wish i could go on but i cant, im disappointed.
@@aleayh check you email it goes by L009 I believe, click on it and print it out and take it to your doctor and see if he or her is willing to fill it out. Mine unfortunately didn’t want to do now I’m finding a new one to do it
I find this hilarious, cause i got sick and after two days i tried going back to work and my manger said no. fucking, covid paranoia is the new normal.
This is crazy. Show’s how these multi billion dollar corporations don’t care about their employees.
It seems like they care less the bigger they get

@@CatesCube I hadn't thought about that. And thanks for the suggestion. I'm still bitter about it.
Sounds like a crap company. Consumers need to know they are operating a slave labor organization over there.
Same in my workplace...and if you get sick 3 times, you're fired.

It’s hard working a job when you have a serious medical issue, some people really do need to go to the hospital a lot

I think you have to wait a bit to reapply too.
Do they really not accept doctors notes through a medical leave of absence?
No! Because they didn’t accept mine! I gave them two and now I’m subjected to being fired due to negative UPT because I was denied Leave of Absence
@@aleayh by any chance did you get a form in the email? My doctor didn’t want to sign it
