I just installed new infotainment system in my car. It works just fine when I use Google Maps and Apple Music at once. But after about 20-30 minutes, the Carplay is not responding at all. Try to unplug and plug the cable, then the screen goes black. The only way to fix it is only turn off-on my car. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
TFS My wife stupidly enjoys her Apple phone and has never set up Car Play on her 2020 Honda Passport Elite AWD until 745pm PDT, 4/7/23, when I used your video to create the connection that she couldn't/wouldn't try to make. I fixed it in 3 minutes or less.
Nope :( My carplay only works when it's plugged in. However, when I play my muisc with the bluetooth/media button it works fine, it just doesn't have the same screen as the carplay.@@shinomorello
This didn’t work I have a 2017 chevy Silverado with 7in IOB MyLink. I have used android auto no problem before switching to iPhone and it won’t pick it up reset all vehicle setting and reset the unit. Tried all this and reset my iPhone. No luck tried 3 different cables different brands including original apple cable and different length cables. Still nothing any help???
@@vandkanonen About fixes , nothing heard . But from my friends in work about same problem . Even new beta wersion of IOS doesnt help . Its more problem with Dacia-Renault . The same iPhone in VW Golf works perfectly . My old SE 2016 can navigate with google maps many hours without problems .
I plug the charger in and it charges the phone but my maps won’t connect and now Apple play doesent turn on at it it keeps saying no phone connected

I ended up having to reset my car’s infotainment system. A system glitch was preventing Apple CarPlay from working. Hope this helps somebody

The carplay would work but it would buffer a lot and pause. It made listening to my own music unbearable lol. Lets hope this fixed it!!

The incoming calls doesn’t ring and I tried all the steps & troubleshooting from my end but still didn’t work

CarPlay is not good. It works sometimes. Most of the time it does not work.
Siri will read a msg but when it asks if i want to reply and i say ‘yes’ siri just says theres a problem / error and closes.
