So cool to be able to see this footage of how snow bands form and move in. Nature really is amazing at times.
Incredible Video Coverage! Thank you for sharing
Wow. Thanks for that one. Amazing footage.
Gorgeous an unique video, dude! Never saw anything like it before!
We have the same lake effect sometimes here in Germany's Northeast when cold eastern winds come across the 'warmer' Baltic Sea towards Germany. Amazing.
I am Chuck and let me tell you this: GERMANY is an amazing country with amazing people. Even I sometimes wish to be German! ⚫🔴🟡
Similar thing happens in Japan. Cold arctic winds bellow across Siberia and moves across the much warmer Sea of Japan causing snowfall. It’s why Japan is the snowiest country on Earth.
One interesting thing to think about, with the climate getting warmer (and most of that heat going into our oceans), it’s possible these body of water effect snow storms could occur more intensely in the future.
amazing footage!
The Lakes weather is just so harsh
Incredible that ppl live on them!!
I got away finally
Never want to go back
EVER
The sharply-defined edges of the tremendous snowfall make all this look like a movie special effect.
Awesome footage
So interesting how the clouds just lie on the water. Crazy.
Lol, it's not a cloud, it's snow!! :)
That’s snow falling 😂
Lol!
That's some amazing footage of this phenomenon
THERES SOMETHING IN THE MIST!
😳😳😳👀👀👀👀
Where?
That’s exactly what I was thinking. That story holds the fear of the unseen unknown very well.
Yeah there is snow falling 😂😂😂😂
MSNBC is saying that these white out conditions are the result of and proof of white supremacy
Born and raised in Black Sea part of Istanbul, when i was a kid i always imagined that all snowfall events in the world was caused by sea evaporation, named sea effect snowfall. Also thundersnow was a normal event for me. Kinda shocked when i learnt that fronts caused most snowfall in the world except places which sit near water bodies.
This is such a common phenomenon in Istanbul, that we usually get not only sea effect snowfall, but also sea effect rains which lasts for days. I remember one time it rained straight for 10 days in a spray form, which only totaled to 10 mm. Black Sea region of Turkey is truly a moisture heaven.
Thanks to these type of sea effect, some years we even get 30 inches of snow in just a single storm, 100 m above sea level. Also our latitude is lower than western Europe but we get much more snow thanks to Black Sea.
Also Italy has Adriatic Sea Effect, cold air from Siberia that comes from north east and impacts with warm Adriatic Sea, involving regions from center and south Italy
Wow!!!
Snowspout!
Ohh waoo this looks so cool I would of loved to see this person I live here in buffalo NY

Used to live in buffalo i think we got one in 2014 we got around 6 feet of snow in one day
Don't you mean a "snow" spout? Great video!!
This lake effect snow is the reason that Buffalo gets walloped more frequently than Toronto
☯️ scary and beautiful 😍 ✨
I can't wait until winter
OH NO IT'S IT'S IT'S A WIND RAIN
November witch at it again
Wow
waterspout @ 2:33
yep thats not a water spout!! It's a snowspout!!
Is this fog or precipitation? I've never seen anything like this
How there a water spout in that kind of temperatures?
What is a "water spout" in that context? Is that a natural thing?
That’s where the itsy bitsy spider went to take cover from the rain. It didn’t work out too well for it though.
Simply put it is a tornado over the water. It sucks up water to become white and they are a common natural occurence.
