Nice post, and I want to add that I have made calls to FCP Euro and they were very helpful. In working on a 2018, the rear have a "double-brake-sensor" and when installing it, it is unlikely it will click into place easily--it may need a screwdriver to gently acquire the "click". Also, on the front, it does NOT take a 60 T, but a newly created for your Porsche enjoyment, an exclusive CHEESE HEAD or TRIPLE SQUARE. Also, I removed about a 1/4 cup of brake fluid and placed it in a cup off to the side to allow me to squeeze. Great video, and FCP was great, sent me everything I needed. I am not be paid for this, nor did I get anything free or discounted, but it's nice to know there's a group that 'knows what time it is". Further, the set-screw that hold the rotors on have crappy T screws where one stripped and I had to drill it out, using a larger drill bit to prevent drilling through the axle hub. No problem. Spend extra time loosening them, assuming they are locked in place.
Textar pads are some of the best I've used. Super awesome stopping power, great feel and quiet and a mouse. This has, again, been an excellent instructional video. Mike's a great FCP Euro asset.
Great Instruction! After watching the video I did change the front and rear discs on my panamera turbo. I did use ATE Discs and Pads on the front, and Zimmermann on the rear side. The hardest part on the front brakes was to reinstall the clip which is holding the Brake Line in the Retainer. Finaly I used a flat wood rod approx 10 inch long (25cm) grab on both sides so I had more force to press the clip it in position. On the rear brakes I found out that the park brake is located inside the brake disk, constructed as a drum brake. On the rear brake calipper you need a 10mm hex nut to open the screws. Removal and installation works the same than on the front side. At the rear brake the brake line can stay in position so there is no hassle with this. After 300 Km of driving, the brake force ist a lot better than with the old original parts.
Your video for brake replacement was very informative. After watching it, I feel like I can do this on my 2008 Cayenne Base V6 with a manual transmission.

All I want to do is take the caliper off and clean it and clean/ rough up the pads to stop squeeling. Can I do this just by undoing caliper bolts and hanging that to the side, or will I still need to disconnect sensors?
I also have a an issue with my horn and power side mirrors not working. I got the driver side power assembly replaced and now my mirrors stop working. I scanned the car with a Launch scanner. I got a 1134 and a P12A2 code separately. Is this a DIY Job. My truck only has 126,000 miles. I am not a mechanic at age 67. I love drive and feel.
My mechanic complained about the Zimmerman kit rotors. Do they warp easier or was this an earlier problem that has been fixed? I just went OEM Sebro with Textar pads.
Thank you for the very informative video! I’m curious as to what spray you used for cleaning, my brake caliper has really bad stains that won’t come off with the meguiars product… what would you recommend?
@@marcelcovaci9922 thanks for the suggestion, this was my first try but no success... the second one I tried was with "Meguiars wheel and tire cleaner" with limited effect, since this I have tried many other wheel cleaners and cannot fully remove the stains, but they get smaller every use

Did you try brake clean? (Wear gloves ) you don’t want that brake clean on your skin
Lightly polish them.

Tried to use a T-60 Torx and it wouldn’t fit in the 12-pt 4 Square socket head. Anyone else run into this problem?
I think it actually has a triple square 14mm rather than a Torx T-60
