I used to say red was my favorite color . . . And I do still like it. But I've noticed that when buying yarn, I'm always drawn to colors that remind me of the ocean. Any blues, teals, turquoises, even greens. If it makes me think of the ocean, it makes me happy 🩵🌊

Blue has always been my favorite color. First, as a girl, it was because of the color of my father’s eyes. As I grew other things were added in - the color of the deep sea, the Nile River, the blue ridge mountains, etc. Now another is added, bringing it full circle…the color of my son’s eyes, who is my father’s namesake 🥰 Everything is connected ☺️

Purple has always been a color I am fond of because it is such a royal color and it seems calming to me. It pairs beautifully with fiber arts projects, since I find repetetive motion so calming too.

From my hair to my favorite yarns, pink is always my choice. Pink is more than a color to me. I wear pink to honor my mother; my is , of course my beloved momma, my hero, my mentor, my everything. My mother is a two time breast cancer survivor and I wear pink to honor her because she’s the strongest woman I know! I love that my pink hair tells a story of her fight and I love when people compliment me on my hair & I can tell them about my momma. 💖💖💖💖

I love so many colors but blue is my favorite. Its always represented calmness and serenity to me, between oceans and rivers, the sound of water is soothing and brings back memories of camping on the beach with my grandparents or camping in general with my parents growing up. Now that all my grandparents are gone and my dad, those memories are all the more important.

Thanks for a lovely tutorial. I appreciate the way you intertwine poetry and music with every video. This one, especially, pulled me in. I spend each morning outdoors for a 10 mile walk that includes everything from hills to flat, paved trails; each step is a stitch whether it is pre-planning a fiber project or stitching together the scenery one leaf, one hill at a time. My FAVORITE color is blue; I am drawn to its clarity as well as moods from the lightest to darkest hues.

My favorite color is purple. Purple represents royalty and majesty which is why I like it. I think about the majesty of the mountains, seas, sky and God. My second favorite is in the blue family. I actually ordered the beautiful blue to teal kit. It is very soothing and calming to me.
My favorite color is purple. As far as I can remember, it always has been. I love every shade of it, from the soft pastels of spring and bright shades of summer, to the comfy dark fall hues and gorgeous jewel tones of winter celebrations. I've yet to see a purple I didn't love. I shared this love with my aunt (my favorite aunt), who passed away this last October. She say, "Purple is the color of royalty, and aren't we all daughters of our Heavenly Father?" Now, she's on my mind whenever I see purple, and it's now a perfect reminder of her and her love. 💜

I love this pattern and the wool used in it. I have Dewy DK and it is lovely with a sheen in it from the silk mixed with the super-wash wool. This blue is gorgeous and reminds me of the beaches in Hawaii and the hills near them. Absolutely gorgeous wool!

I'm so excited to try this pattern. I love the look of it! My favorite color is blue, which I feel represents calm, serenity & comfort. Looking over my yarn stash, I see that more than half of it is some shade of blue. I love the idea of this pattern of the changing shades of the same color, transitioning from darker to lighter.
For me it’s the color blue. It gives me the calm, relaxing vibes just like as I would when looking into the sky on a cloudless day or watching the sea and the waves. I will start knitting a pullover for my son, to my delight he picked a beautiful blue colored yarn ❤

It reminds me of all the pretty wild flowers that bloom on the side of the road. I live in a town that has slopey hills everywhere. Nothing is truly flat.
