Wow what an amazing story! A friend of mine just shared this video with me. My name is Debi Thomas, and I was actually the first black athlete in the world to medal in the Winter Olympics, and I feel bad that this is the first I’ve learned of this talented skater. Ironically, I’ve recently teamed up with a fellow skater to start an art movement that brings skating center stage so we are searching for the world’s greatest skating artists so we MUST try to connect with this artist!
