Was that at the old Hall of Fame? I liked it a lot better than the new one it was a little more down-home feeling. You're very lucky to have met him

Lefty…….Nashville chose to forget about you but not your fans……Ask any country singer from Merle Haggard forward who inspired them and it’s Lefty Frizzell. He died feeling no one cared about him. Thanks Porter!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Just one question? How did a right handed guitarist acquire the nickname Lefty?
This is sooooo much better than what passes for country music today. In today’s market, it’s basically commercial pop music sung with a country flavor.

Abe Mulkey looks to have a strong voice. From here he seems to be further from the mike, but still nearly drowns Lefty out. Just lucky he sounds good, but he wouldn't have been there if he didn't.

@@Gratefulman1965 Forgive my ignorance. I had just finished reading George Jones' book and what he said about the way Lefty kinda got goofed around. Nothing against Abe, I was just on the defence about Lefty at the time. He didn't need any help with this song I guess is what I meant. I will be kinder from now on. Cheers.
