I love Floor’s anti-Disney voice type. There's no need for girlish delicateness for Floor, or us. We love her for her strength. She's no princess, she is the queen! Aurora is the shaman, dwelling between the worldly and the supernatural. She may even be the shaman queen.

I love your excitement and your comments. But talking about Floor .... nearly a year ago you reacted to Floor's involvement in AYREON's "Valley Of The Queens". But ..... the one you have to react to is (and I hope you do, despite the long list of requests) a TOP LINEUP OF MANY MUSICAL INTRUMENTS/SINGERS: The Source is the 9th studio album from *AYREON* , a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen (Ahr-Yun) Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. *_”The Day That The World Breaks Down”_* is a song that features all 11 (quite well known) main guest singers (you’ll be surprised) and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by which standards.
Btw. This creative original clip is 13 min. long and I think you won’t regret it !!

Mrs Floor Jansen replaces Angelina Jolie in Maleficent 3 and sings the entire script and that of all supporting actors at the same time. In addition, she should finally give Maleficent facial expressions.
That's the absolute nonsense to hope, but I would like to see a collaboration between Floor Jansen and Aurora. A song in which both shine equally. My favorite artists and personalities together in one song. No idea how this could even go together musically, but I would be happy.

Her days with Revamp were a version of the angry, aggressive, and more youthful Floor. I think she has gotten that out of her system and has become a much more refined vocalist. Loved your commentary and analysis Christy. Always fun to watch and listen to your reactions and breakdowns.

Floor, AS USUAL, slays. I am still bewildered at how unknown she is in the US. I am thankful for the Euro festival scene - So many great bands, and gems like Floor... Nothing I can say will match anything said by others - She just kicks everyone's you know what.... and with style... :)
For me it is all about talent, crazy skills, charisma and a beautiful personality. Down to earth, great humor. Hard working empathic perfectionist. sharing it with her NW brothers and us.
Hope to see and hear her with NW live in november in Amsterdam. My first "live" concert so i really hope it will happen this time

I always love your reactions. As a 53 yo man, never thought I would be so excited over a Frozen cover. Floor is so talented, she knows it, but she is the sweetest most funny person ever. She is always sharing and cutting up with her fans, I mean we call her Goddess and Queen, she cuts up about it with us. I always listen all the way through btw. Love your input.

Hi Christi Looking beautiful. Floor is in rehearsals for Nightwish in the Netherlands. Her Fan Friday went up today . I always Love her facial expressions. Love Our Valkyrie. She did a concert last week in the Netherlands and she was happy and glowing.
Give me a Broadway musical with Floor and I'm already in queue to buy tickets and attend the show .......
She is so versatile and obviously an incredible vocalist shame she isn't as well known outside of Europe she's incredible.

The most versatile singer I've ever seen
Great reaction as always Christie. Give this girl a Bond title track, as she would nail that too. And I'm not only speaking about vocals, but also her acting skills, they are on-point as well. I mean,...how cool would it be to have a 007 metal title track with Floor's vocals. Look at all the great vocalists that went before like: Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Gladys Knight, Nancy Sinatra, Adele, and Tina Turner to name a few. Floor would perfectly fit in that list with ease.

I admit never 'getting' the whole growl thing, but, hey, dear Christi, you do you and if ya wanna learn something new, there's no better role model than Floor! I love the un-Disney tempo, vibe, tone, and everything ... of this song. Floor is amazing in how she makes every song new. Heck, she can surely also make "baby shark" into something outta this world worth-the-ear-worm ... :)
This was lovely. Love the reaction and the attention to the details of the change in rhythm and stress-patterns in the sound and syllables and pace. Fab. She does make it seem so easy, and the way she breathes new life into the tempo and makes it a lot less 'princess' and a lot more 'Goddess." :)

I think she does "the voice", too. It's clearest at the very start and it sounds a lot like her. Afterwards it's mixed with a guitar playing the same notes, which distorts the sound a bit but makes it more haunting.

It remains to be seen how many of these covers will make it onto Floor`s next album? If I hope for the best, it will be a triple album! But even in the worst case, even without covers, I am very curious and excited about the created result and experience!
I usually do stick around. I like the way you do your reactions: minimal interruptions up front, but mor frequent discussions as you go through. Floor is ridiculously good. I am sure in addition to the arrangement she thought adding a little something would make it better. :-) Honestly, I don't think I've heard the original.

High notes, yes perfect. But its those low notes before. This makes it so interesting. I now heard like 100 different versions. There are now 2 versions i like, one from a guy and this one. And not because she is Floor.
