The fact that actors are turning it down is due to the cemented way that left Chadwick as the only T’challa.. Even his own fan said he would’ve wanted a recast.. folks are backwards ..
They're a bunch of dummies. Every role you take is hit or miss. I wouldn't turn it down; I'm swinging for the fences. Take the role - could be the biggest move of your career.
Chadwick Boseman IS T'Challa... That's it. That's all. Better have his son grow up... Or an alternate universe. You cannot replace Chadwick. Can't do it.

@SheDreadzMe Im reposting everywhere especially on Disney and Marvel platforms. We need to give young black upcoming actors a chance. Aldis Hodge is a good choice aswell he physically looks like a aged Toussaint, T'Challa Jr from Wakanda Forever so either way it should work.
Its so easy. Cast Michael B Jordan as a T'challa from another Universe. They've already done it in "What If". This would also let them age up TCH JR and move to him as the actual Tichalla after Secret Wars. This would give Marvel 3 to 4 years to capitalize on Michael B Jordan in the role. This would make a billion dollars and it would solve just about every issue
Aldis Hodge would be a great choice I know he just started that Alex cross series so IM not sure if he’s available for another big role at this time I’ll Rock with Y’lan Noel, Marvel give that brotha a call !
I am glad actors turned this role down. Tring to slap in some Don Cheadle-esque re-cast would have been disastrous and I am glad the actors realized this, even if many comic book fans did not. Now that variants have been firmly established as taking many forms, all of T'Challa's back story gets to stay, but the new actor gets to build a new character without undoin' everything already established. I was against the "recast T'challa" calls for this reason, but I can get behind a variant based version. Honestly, I don't think who the actor is, matters as much as how the story is presented.
It wouldn't be hard to recast T'Challa, w/ the plots of Doomsday and Secret Wars with timelines collapse and crashing together. It could be a grown up Prince T'Challa that comes to Earth 616 since his world was destroyed by Doom or it could be an alternate variant King T'Challa. Just as Reed Richards had a variant in Doctor Strange 2. Variants don't have to look identical. I think they handled Black Panther 2 properly, they didn't write themselves in to a corner or anything.
Instead of T'Challa, they should make it as one of the timelines was destroyed but before that happened the Black Panther in that universe, some how showed up on 616. But, the Black Panther in that universe was N'Jadaka(Michael B. Jordan). So, now he needs to earn the trust of the people of Wakanda that is not a Villain, but a hero of Wakanda. Rest in Peace and Rest in Paradise Chadwick Boseman.
Since first season of Insecure I've been hoping for Y'lan to do something in the MCU at the time I felt he could've been Blade but now since then I think he could do the role for Tchalla Jr, Relatively unknown, he hasn't done anything major since First Purge which cemented as action star for me
I hope a lot of their first choices don't turn it down because it needs to be somebody who could do Chadwick proud. I love Aldis doesn't give the same vibe as Chadwick, but I'd love to see him try it
Shamier Anderson (Invasion) Stephan James (21 Bridges, Beacon 23) Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage, Cowboy Bebop) but someone was right about casting someone from the African continent. Theres plenty of shows on netflix to find someone

@@dantheman3546 lol say you ready for the long ride
@SheDreadzMe THE LONG WAY!📣
It should be Aldis Hodge but Trevante Rhodes🤔
@@brethigpen1938 think a lil harder on Trevante sit with it lol 😂
Rhodes is a pretty good pick actually. He killed moonlight and he is in shape
Mawuli Gavor.
He's a Ghanaian actor of Nigerian descent and I feel like he'd be perfect.
His accent will sound perfect for the role,he has the charisma and definitely the looks to draw in an audience with the right marketing strategies,Chadwick was 43 when he first started filming as TChalla and Mawuli is currently 41 so his age is perfection.
(He might have to take intense acting classes tho ngl lol)
If not him then i guess Damson will do too
I really like your suggestion 😀
@maleekmayers yessss walk with me!
No
My dude who played Hawkman would make a dope Ultimate Black Panther variant
That's what I said when I saw the movie this dude can easily play black panther better then anybody.
@kingkobrasgaming1241 facts. And now that I think abt it, they deviated from the source material so much, they basically gave him a wakanda visual as if he was a king or sumn
This was a brilliant take! Very informative and very true on all fronts
Fine, I'll do it lol.
I've never acted in my life so I couldn't play the part, but as a martial artist I would love to be in the suit for some fight scenes. Whenever they do start doing Black Panther movies again I really want them to do better on the fight scenes, less CGI and more wideshot fight choreography. That was my biggest complaint with the BP movie. The Russo bros honestly did a better job directing action in CW than the BP movie imo, so my hopes were high going in
I agree
The fact that actors are turning it down is due to the cemented way that left Chadwick as the only T’challa.. Even his own fan said he would’ve wanted a recast.. folks are backwards ..
They're a bunch of dummies. Every role you take is hit or miss. I wouldn't turn it down; I'm swinging for the fences. Take the role - could be the biggest move of your career.
Hodge all day!!!
My ideal choices for a recasted MCU Black Panther would be Aldis Hodge, Trevante Rhodes, Y'Lan Noel, Damson Idris, or Kofi Siriboe
The actor Y'Lan Noel from insecure is perfect
Good video sis!! See I wanna gonna talk ish but I ain’t got nothing 😂 also I heard the same thing you’ve heard in this video also so 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
@@TheDreMacShow lol 😂 ❤️ you chill & Blu are really turning into my aggravating cousins
Y'al Noel would be a perfect choice... The guy is so overlooked. Give Aldis Dr Voodoo if unk Denzel is not doing that already
I've always thought that Y'lan Noel would make the best recast. He's a great actor and most resembles Chadwick... damn near his twin.
That guy Pierre from The Lion King would be perfect.
He’s already casted as Green Lantern and he’s supposed to be locked in a contract for long time.
No the character is dark skin person
No
This! Great information. I don’t blame the actors if it is one and done.
@@pamentertainmenttv thanks Pam!!!! Yeaaaaah a lot of nuance in what’s going on
My pick would be Kofi Siriboe from "Girls Trip". I think if he dialed in, and took it seriously, he could pull it off.
Chadwick Boseman IS T'Challa... That's it. That's all. Better have his son grow up... Or an alternate universe. You cannot replace Chadwick. Can't do it.
Y'Lan Noel is my #1 choice.
David could not be T'Challa. Can't picture him beating M'Baku. Yaya as T'Challa? That would be a wrap!
I would prefer Aldis Hodge to play T’Challa the most.
Y’lan is interested!? YAS! I saw him in The First Purge and wanted him over Chadwick, honestly. I’ll always love and respect what Chadwick brought to the role, but wasn’t who I originally saw.
I hope he’s selected as T’Challa’s variant.
PS I holla’d when you said T’Chile😂
Aml Ameen for Black Panther‼️
Y'lan Noel is the perfect choice. Hell he could also play Blade. I think he solidified his position as a proper Black Panther based on his performance in the "First Purge" movie.
everybody sleep on Trevante Rhoades.
Yep !!!!
Nope he ain’t got the looks, but he does look like green lantern
Alex R. Hibbert
I just hope nothing *weird* happens to the actor after getting the job.
I’m more down with the ones that said “Yes” then the ones that said “No”
Aldis hodge would be good
😂😂😂 me imagining Damson Idris as T’Challa next to MBJ as Killmonger
Exactly that’s a boy (no disrespect Damson!) ❤
@@SheDreadzMeif your worried about size actors are known to get bigger for their roles and also have you watched snowfall ?
@@rattlezz it’s not just size, he just looks extremely young. Even when they tried to age him up on tv. He just has a youthful look, it’s not a bad thing. He just gives Prince TChalla vs King TChalla
Lori Harvey punching air at that premiere 😂
@@_CPerk more like sipping tea
As for who else Marvel might have in mind for Damson, I could see both Patriot and Cloak. I know both have already been played by different actors under Disney Marvel, but this would be the first time they recast someone. My bet is they recast Luke Cage at some point too.
Great informative video! I just subscribed as well. ❤
@@latoyanicolethefaceslayer4555 thanks appreciate all the support
@SheDreadzMe You're absolutely welcome! I saw you on the other podcast as well when you all were discussing casting T'challa! Blessings, Growth, and Prosperity to you and your Channel 🙏🏾♥️
Sope Dirisu should be mentioned as a candidate for T'Challa before Trevante Rhodes. Rhodes would be a great Luke Cage though.
I always forget about Sope for some reason you're right, I've seen a lot more Trevante content then Sope so he always slips my mind
@SheDreadzMe the first episode of Gangs of London told me everything I needed to know about Sope as an actor.
@@elmariscal204I think the difficulty with Tchalla and Chadwick is that he naturally had a regal quality to him as a person b3yond being a great actor
It's something you either have or dont
In the old days we held auditions and saw how things panned out.
PS Some people believe The MCU / DC isn’t really ‘acting’ . 👀
Then what do these people think this actors are doing? People are so dumb
Y'lan Noel would play a great BP, Also Aldis Hodge especially how well he looked as Hawkman! Mateen definitely has the body type!
I think Aldis would make a great Black Panther
Damson is the only answer. He has the depth as an actor to play the role effectively. Plus he looks like he could actually be related to Chadwick.
*Black Panther 3* should RECAST with *Y'lan Noel (First Purge) or Ashley Walters (Get Rich or Die Tryin, Netflix Top Boy)* can pick up the role of *T'Challa the Black Panther* with the time jump, it is a mantle passed from Warrior to Warrior, King to King.
#RecastTChalla Rest in the Power of Bast Chadwick Boseman.
*The Stairwell Scene in the First Purge earned Y'lan Noel 1st consideration* as the King of Wakanda and they studio needs to introduce more of Black Panthers Powers aswell.
@@thelibraaffect I’m down for YLAN !
Stop suggesting foreign actors
@@tonysparks9453 Both actors are more than capable of picking up the role and responsibility of being Black Panther.
@@thelibraaffect Nope
Aldis is the perfect pick, Damson ain't it.
lol im with you on Damson
Its so easy. Cast Michael B Jordan as a T'challa from another Universe. They've already done it in "What If". This would also let them age up TCH JR and move to him as the actual Tichalla after Secret Wars. This would give Marvel 3 to 4 years to capitalize on Michael B Jordan in the role. This would make a billion dollars and it would solve just about every issue
Aldis should've been chosen in the first place
@@ELIJAHRATLIFF-do2bm lol he’s always wanted the role
I like Stephan James from 21 bridges 😊
Aldis Hodge would be a great choice I know he just started that Alex cross series so IM not sure if he’s available for another big role at this time I’ll Rock with Y’lan Noel, Marvel give that brotha a call !
@@bluehunnidgee always my top
I am glad actors turned this role down. Tring to slap in some Don Cheadle-esque re-cast would have been disastrous and I am glad the actors realized this, even if many comic book fans did not. Now that variants have been firmly established as taking many forms, all of T'Challa's back story gets to stay, but the new actor gets to build a new character without undoin' everything already established. I was against the "recast T'challa" calls for this reason, but I can get behind a variant based version. Honestly, I don't think who the actor is, matters as much as how the story is presented.
That would be hella smart introducing a variant.
Tongayi Chirisa would be perfect! Plus, he is African. The brother needs a break, imho.
Yes indeed I want This 👍🏾 Role
A new up and coming coming Black American actor or Aldis Hodge for me 🙌🏾
Damson didn't lose the John Stewart role, he left it because the filming conflicted with a future project
@@spencil9941 you got an article where I can check that out ?
I dont need another Black
Panther Movie. They need to leave it alone.
Blue marvel? Hell na he’s the new black panther he’s a perfect fit if they don’t cast Denzel son they’ll be taken a huge loss
Treyvonte good too
@@emulaplayz6818 I don’t think John David Washington would be a good TChalla at all
Y’lan Noel would be a dope fit
What about Edwin Hodge and BJ Britt?
Since first season of Insecure I've been hoping for Y'lan to do something in the MCU at the time I felt he could've been Blade but now since then I think he could do the role for Tchalla Jr,
Relatively unknown, he hasn't done anything major since First Purge which cemented as action star for me
Love you voice n info
John David Washington is good for that part, he is a spitting image of Chadwick Boseman!
Since Denzel would be in black panther 3 I say cast his son as Tchalla , unless the role that Denzel is playing is a villain .
I hope a lot of their first choices don't turn it down because it needs to be somebody who could do Chadwick proud. I love Aldis doesn't give the same vibe as Chadwick, but I'd love to see him try it
@@evelynwashere13 that’s the thing …. If it’s a variant …. He doesn’t have to give the same energy as Chadwick

Shamier Anderson (Invasion) Stephan James (21 Bridges, Beacon 23) Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage, Cowboy Bebop) but someone was right about casting someone from the African continent. Theres plenty of shows on netflix to find someone
Chadwick Boseman's embodiment of what the comic book T'challa made fresh would be like! Black Panther has always been my favorite hero. He is/was already the perfect fit! He conducted himself as a king, both in film and in real life.🤴🏿👑✊🏾
Noelle and trevante I would love for them to be t'challa Jr they would look wonderful next to these possible storms dewanda wise, Jodie turner , or Kiki lane
Why not John David Washington as T’Challa ? He charismatic like Denzel.

1. Damson still top of list for me tbh. Green lantern has already been cast on the DC side.
Boyega definitely said HELL NAW! lol
Oyelowo - Has he ever done a ACTION ROLL?
Ylan ....WHO!
Aldis - He's still my Hawkman. lol
Domingo....WHO!
Abdul-Mateen II - AWESOME ACTOR - I'd would still like to see him causing trouble as Mantra tbh
They should pivot Yaya Abdul Mateen II from Wonder Man to T'challa.
Wonderman is already wrapped & ready to go
