My friend recommended this band to me after my mom had died and now it's helped me get a better life so I love crown the empires song and I'm thankful the picked me up during a dark point of my life

I find it funny how people think crown the empire has changed. their sound has been different from the start. they don't just have one style. they are doing it right. if you have one set soumd for the band you only get one set of fans. they choose to switch it up with every album. I have a shit load of respect for these dudes. if you dont like theor new stuff you can ignore it n live in the past.

Unlike the rest of you people who are whining about how the old CTE was better because you believe "they've become too soft", I believe that the new CTE is actually pretty good and also shows a completely new side to the band that some people may not be used to.
I don't believe they are turning away from the audience of their youth by switching to a whole different genre, they're just growing up and extending their reach by adding new genres into their mix. If you need proof of this, just look for "Lucky Us" and tell me how much it reminds you of the old CTE.
Finally someone said it. Tired of seeing all the hate comments about the "new" CTE sound
I've been an avid fan since the very beginning and I am SO in love with the new sound they've gone with and I'm so proud of them for finally going with it!

Wow. Was never a fan of this band but they have grown considerably as writers. They understand how to write a hook. I usually prefer heavier music but this is such a catchy song it's difficult to dislike.

The only songs they DID write were the Johnny Trilogy songs, which is peculiar considering those songs are amazing, you'd wonder why they had a separate songwriter. Now they don't, so this next album should be a true representation of CTE.

Im a big fan of cte I get that this new album is different but hey very band goes through different styles until they find their own unique style. I’m tired of hear like if you miss the old cte well guess what sweetie there gone deal with it if your a true fan u stick with them no matter what. If you hate this album listen to other bands or go back to their old stuff. If cte kept the same style trust me we would get bored and I’m pretty sure we all fell I live with their music because it was different it had the right amount of everything. They don’t have too much screaming to make them metallic and they don’t have a lot of smooth soft songs to make them a pop band.
