I just wanna say, thank you crown the empire, i have C-PTSD from multiple things and this song in particular, but many others, have helped me in so many ways. I plan to get some of these lyrics tattooed on me because they mean so much to me and this band will always mean the world to me. Thank you, to all members of this band; present and former.
every time i hear this it brings me right back into the concert with them, seeing and feeling mire alive than i’ve ever felt and i love hearing this song because of it.

4. Lucky Us - Heavy heavy heavy love it and i actually love how aggressive and down tempo it sounded
3. Zero - Fast paced, love the screams and the breakdown, love at first listen
2. Hologram - Most emotional song imo, love how its not just "verse,chorus,verse,chorus,chorus again" it actually had a bridge and actual song structure to it which i loved
1. Aftermath - Overall favorite song on this album, love the mix of soft and heavy, this song definitely has the best chorus
Worst song: the fear is real - too long considering it is an interlude song

It's been a while since I've listen to bands. This has to be the best introduction back into the genre. I have to get this album.
I love this album, this style is equally good as their old styles, I'd like to see a mix of the two styles in the next album.
Man, it's great to see them change perspectively and watch them grow into something bigger and more real and bare a more powerful message as they grow bigger lyrically, and also personally opening up more and more through their music. it's truly an eye and heart opening experience to learn and understand more about who they are as people (rather than just musicians) on a much, much, deeper level. Is it just me who thinks this?

Guys... The THEME is FUTURISTIC, SPACE and THIS IS THE FUTURISTIC METAL! Get the theme. The Album teaser. All the elements they wanted to put in this song... Real fans will totally get them. I love this futuristic theme and I would say this is a job well done.

it warms my tits to see this album being (generally) well received by their fanbase. It really showcases their creativity and is diverse yet cohesive. you can just start this album and not skip around, just let it ride

honestly this song isn't bad but it's just sad (personally to me) to see CTE change so much. Daves uncleans are just so drowned out in a way.. it's hard to explain :(

It's really sad how many childish people have the guts to say stuff like, "oMg old cte is so much better!!@ too generic!!!!" like can you chill out? if softer isn't your type of music then that's totally cool, but the whole band has stated so many times so much time and hard work they put in to making this album so that tons of people can listen to it, and i personally think everyone needs to shut the fuck up because it's an outstanding album regardless.

Yeah! Sometimes bands goes totally wrong and doing lame job and turn to shit. But usually bands only create kinda new sound for new album and people are like "oh my god this sound different bleh". Bands can't sounds still totally same. Most important things to me band not lost sparkle which make band itself. I still can recognise them when I will hear some new stuff in radio and etc.

🥹I’ve stopped listening to rock and cte since I was 18, when I spiraled into a dark period that lasted for 6 years (addictions, trauma, and a lifestyle that even changed the music I was listening to) - I now feel like I’m gradually getting better mentally, I’ve also slowly gotten into rock again, this try felt like an aftermath🥲

To everyone who thinks this is bad or not as good as their older music: lol. You can't compare one style of music to another. You just don't like this style of music. You're welcome for clarifying that for you. This song is amazing, and I like some of their older stuff too.

This song reminds me of the time my ex dumped me in college. It was right about when this song came out. I was listening to it a lot.

CTE back when they released 'The Fallout', was the literal butt of metalcore. They literally inherited the Risecore genre (Andy even says that himself). Sure, it put them on the map, and the title track 'The Fallout' was decent, but if you listen to the rest of the album (besides Johnny's Revenge) it is literally the most recycled, generic album that has ever been released on this label.
This album is so refreshing. Although I couldn't get into the softer songs like Are You Coming With Me and the The Weight of The World - songs like this are just gold. Displaying Andy's mad pipes and STILL even including Dave's screams. Granted, it isn't the best album, but it's a step I, and many other people, didn't mind them taking.
It's funny I loved the EP. Hated The Fallout loved The Resistance. But I think this album is their best effort so far. There's just some songs on here that I think is their best work(Like this song and Hologram). I'll be really interested to see what the do next.
