Joel Birch says "Forever is a song about the dueling internal narrative while in the depths of a depressive episode. On the one hand, love and support, on the other hand, thoughts of suicide, while also grappling with the follow on effect it would have. I made a promise to myself to make it to my son’s eighteenth birthday when he was three, and I intend to keep it. Hopefully, by then I will have figured out how to properly cope with what is likely a lifelong battle with Bipolar II.”
Sometimes life is so hard... I'm bipolar too, and been really down sometimes, even with suicidal behaviors, and the amity affliction has been a really part of My life, the lyrics, everything from this band feels like home and the comment section is always a good place to be!

I'm glad that the amity I grew up on is back. I remember being a sophomore in high school and hearing let the ocean take me for the first time and just melting in to the forest. I was so enthralled by how melodic the music was, yet so brilliantly heavy. Just appreciate that this sound is back

I can definitely relate to this song
Coming back to this track, remembering how it felt to me a year ago. I was deeply depressed, one of my lowest points. This album dropped and pulled me up, not out of it but to a conscious stability. The lyrics rang in my head, "I'm not afraid to die..... I'm afraid of how it ends, and what it'll do to you." Reminded me that I have people that I need, and who need me. People who are closest to my heart, going through a different flavor of the same shit I was. I couldn't put them through it, this track slammed that much needed perspective into my face unapologetically.

Perfect blend of LTOTM and Misery. TAA forever.
Pretty good description of the sound. Personally, my favorite album was TCBHB, because of how it reminds me of my dad and other people I've lost. LTOTM is a super close 2nd to me, and even though Misery gets alot of hate, I liked that they tried some new stuff. Not saying this to be a rider, but they havent put out something I didnt like, and this new album is no exception. It was overall just really hard hitting and relatable
It’s simple. You either connect with Amity based on life experiences or you don’t connect. If you don’t connect then you don’t understand their lyrics. Thankfully I’ve understood since Chasing Ghosts and always have them on repeat. TAA forever 🖤

I listened album from yesterday and i promise you -- this is a brilliant release. A lot of heavy songs, most tradicional Amity bangers and some songs with pieces from Misery. Very impressive and powerful release.

Staring down a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer, this song hits different. I've never quite connected with this song before now, but this is immensely comforting to me right now.
Finding this band years ago remains one of the best thing's that's ever happened in my life. This song is 🔥 their music has carried me through some of the darkest time's of my life and i honestly believe saved it multiple time's.

I am here to tell you all that there is hope... We can all be free from the hopeless way that we are living. We can all be free, we can all be renewed and live a different life where we have hope knowing that there is somebody out there who cares for us, who is waiting for us to seek him, he is waiting with his arms wide open to set us free! His name is Jesus Christ! I used to be depressed all the time living a very dark life, hopeless, feeling like I didn’t want to be here any longer. I didn’t have a reason to live but I always knew deep inside of me that there was a purpose in life and when I came to God, I prayed one night looking up to the sky and said “God I don’t want to be like this anymore I want to change please help me” that was my prayer.. God heard me because he knew I was broken hearted... mind you, I didn’t believe in God prior to that prayer but he was my last hope. There was nobody around that could help me and I was just feeling weighed down everyday more and more until I came to God.... see we live in a fallen creation because of sin, because of the wicked ways some evil people live but that’s not how God had intended it for us to be... when we are depressed, have anxiety, stress, and living hopeless, we are actually being tormented by demons that are around the air and yes there is a spiritual world among us which we cannot see but satan will try to keep you in chains by having all these demons torment you but we have somebody who can set us feee from all that... We don’t have to live this way anymore... Come to God and see that he is good!! What do we have to lose??.... We are all sinners and I mean everybody.. The Bible says that the wages of sin is DEATH!!! God is giving you a gist today, a gift of salvation... God will not force you to come to him because he gave us free will.. we have to make the decision to take his gift of salvation and eternal life with him in heaven... zCome to God, repent from your sins, ask God to forgive your sins, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

These guys have some next level talent, only band I can think of that has been around for this long and consistently produced bangers non stop from day 1 to the very end. They’ve played for so long together it seems they’ve just absolutely perfected their sound to the point where they just can’t do any wrong haha
I read and listen to this and this was just the song I needed to hear. This band has been my mental health band. They always seem to never shock me of how relatable they make their music. Birthday is on Sunday and this is by far the best birthday present coming with the album coming out tomorrow.

I have a brain tumor at a standstill, if it wakes up at some point I could die because it is very dangerous and of course the risk of spreading is always there.
