Johnny Ringo is a famous Outlaw or "Cowboy". He was one Ruthless dude one of the fastest gun slingers in the west, well some say Doc Holiday was faster. This Trilogy is based off of John Ringgold aka Johnny Ringo. If you really want a sense of Who Johnny was watch the movie Tombstone (with val Kilmer etc) it's about Wyatt Earp and his brothers and Doc Holiday and their run in with the cowboys Like curly bill and you guessed it Johnny Ringo. In the movie Doc Holiday explains how johnny is and you can see for yourself how Ringo was. Alot of these lyrics are from real quotes from Ringo himself and others . it'll make more sense when you watch the movie also i suggest researching him.

I love the Johnny trilogy although i have this idea of them making a fourth one called Johnnys Reign and its about how Johnny becomes the same devil he sought to destroy with someone else in his place making a sort of loop idk i like it
That story is exactly what Rebellion is. Johnny becomes the devil at the end and he betrays his "brothers" that he only used to get back at the devil for fucking with him after selling his soul.

I like the EP version of Johnny Ringo way better than the reissue one
in terms of the way they sound i think the first one is better music wise but the reissue sounds better in terms of cinematic and/or story telling, it just has a certain emotional appeal to it.
