Hannah chan! Thank you for always taking us to the places and let us experience things I've never done before..! I especially enjoyed driving in the snow😆😆⛄️☃️❄️❄️
Man what a fun video! The dynamic subtitles, your Skier Anime Training Arc, Chris's honest opinion about your skiing, and all the snow!...and always a chuckle from any "that's what she said" because I never grew up...
This is why Japan is so strong in the Winter Olympics. People in northern part of Japan all learn winter sports such as skiing from childhood. In Niigata, even children as young as five years old can ski.
Thanks to you and Chris for making and sharing this video. It’s enchanting especially when I can’t travel to a place like this for a long while to come given the pandemic! 😘
So good! You 2 having a great time and putting together a great video with good vibes. That place looked like an absolute winter wonderland. Think more travel companies need to be getting you both onboard to showcase the beautiful places in Japan. Even my Japanese partner loved this video and said how beautiful it looked. Well done guys!!
Gooooodness, adore your vids. You two are so much fun, and adventurous and goofy. The way you put action into your travels as in actually do activities and not just go to the same old same old destinations. Really bring the wonder and joy of japan to your vids, I hope you two have an amazing 2022!
Wow! You really did a great job making this feel like a dream winter trip (+🍓). Also, the epic fall on skis was fun (kudos for feeling comfortable sharing things you might not be good at in your videos!). As always, background music is on point. Those opening shots getting off the train, just masterfully done.
I'm always in love with your videos, in my opinion you make the best videos about Japan!!! Truly, this cinematic but casual style is so good! 💛 At the moment I can't afford to go to the trip you are offering, but I hope next time!
You've put a huge grin on my dial, thanks guys... (those little skiers gliding past undignifiedly sprawled Hannah... gold) At the same time, I can picture a bunch of aussie ski fans silently crying while biting into their closed fist 🌩
Wow, now you can ski very well! Great improvement in such a short time 👍 I love the part that the local kids past right next to you, though 😆So cute and funny. Thank you for your stylish & beautifully made videos💕ありがとうございます
The little kids reminded of a time we were skiing in Japan. We standing at the top of a run watching the kids go down. Heck they're good. But there was a fenced off hole cliff thing in the middle of the run. One little girl was nonchalantly belting down towards it. All the onlookers around us, mostly Japanese, started going OOOOOOOOOHH!!! louder and louder as she got closer. We all did because we thought a tragedy was unfolding. But this little legend just skidded to a stop just before the fence and turned and looked up the hill at us and shrugged as if to say, What!? 😂 It is hilariously humiliating to be attacking a black run as if your life depends on it and then see group of 8 year olds just breeze past. Winter in Japan is the best even if you're not skiing. Which I think is what you were doing Hannah - not skiing 😂 Kidding! I think I spend almost as much time on my arse in the snow as standing up. 😂
I usually comment to give you major props for the great work, but I’m just writing to say you guys are great! .....And also, this upload stays up to the high standards of your channel. Have a nice day!
My best friend would LOVE that sake museam!! Also major props to you guys for braving all that cold. I live in the desert and I start to freeze when it gets below 60.
Hannah! I am so happy you have uploaded your vlog on your trip to Niigata! I cancelled mine because I’ll follow your route during your overlanding trip this summer. ❤️❄️❤️
In a recent video, you comment about being unfamiliar with dressing like and adult. Here, when you back into the snow wall, you reveal the refreshing charm of staying in close touch with the kid within. Long may it remain so. Onya, lassie. The new snow coats the world with a refreshing veneer of cleanliness which lifts the spirits - when you're NOT the one doing the shovelling!
Hannah, your videos are always insane but there's something about the cinematography and storytelling in this one that are absolutely incredible. This video is another vote for me to move to Japan someday! Thanks for this, keep killing it!
I don't watch RUclips that often anymore, but your videos are always such a treat to watch. Fun adventures with constantly breathtaking shots. Thank you for always bringing us the beauty of a place some of us may never get to experience!
35 years ago, when Japan was in the bubble economy, ski resorts were very popular as resorts. Many of the apartments built at that time are old and have reached the end of their useful lives.
Absolutely loving your almost every contents. Really worth watching your travel vlogs. Amazing, no more words how beautiful you have made the video is ..........
We are open now with much snow and deliciouse foods and hot springs. Yuzawa Town of Nigata pre. is most famouse Snow Land . only 75 minutes from Tokyo.
had to roll back at the end to catch the "... that's what she said". Even as an Australian living almost as southerly as you can get - That amount of snow is inconceivable !
Aussie discovers more snow 😁. Such a nice video. Was smiling for almost all of it, because you had so much fun. You and Chris seem to be always laughing. We, here in Finland, don't get quite as much snow, but looked great.
I'm developing the habit of finding quiet time, with a coffee and a biscuit (or three) to sit and listen to the sounds and enjoy the sights of your vlogs.
There's something so nice about getting a notification for a new CH video that is about a weekend of joy!! 😁😊 Also no mutant strawb can compete with those onigiri, like WTF!! 😆🍓😂🍙🤣 Looks like amazing value though. Also thanks for the rice pounding ASMR; that sticky sound is *chef's kiss.*
Hi Hannah. I’m from Sydney. I went to Japan for a holiday when I was 7. I want to go back. My mum says we can when we can travel again. My mum and I like watching your videos. 🙂
I absolutely hate cold and wet weather but this place seemed magical. Also having grown up in Australia I've never seen so much snow either Hanna. Thank you and Chris for another amazing and fun video!💙💙
I love this video. You two really showed what I want to experience in Japan! This is making me want to plan a trip next winter to do some skiing and explore Japow!
I’m considering moving to Niigata in the future so this was a really great video to watch and learn about the area. Also BEAUTIFUL shots! Thanks so much.
randomly got recommended your video from 5 years ago where you bought the hero 4. And now you're here with a sony a7 what not and Dji Mavic 3 drones. How times have changed
That famous novel "Snow Country" written by Kawabata Yasunari was set in Echigo-Yuzawa, and ever since Niigata prefecture, especially Echigo-Yuzawa area has been called "Snow Country".
Awe my goodnes, so much snow! I love how you love it so much 🤣 here I am complaining about it every chance I can and just waiting for that sweet sweet Japanese summer lol. Amazing video as always, thanks Hannah!
The skiing part looked like so much damn fun. Your production quality is wild, it's almost like being there. Haven't touched snow in 3 years now, I need it!!
Absolutely wonderful Hannah. I always come to your videos when I need some grounding and to relax. They really are amazing. Thank you for doing what you do and sharing parts of your life. I know that can be scary. I hope to share similar experiences one day. Cheers~~~
Your sense of joy when traveling is amazing to watch, and it's gotten zanier since you've met Chris.
Hannah chan! Thank you for always taking us to the places and let us experience things I've never done before..! I

Your videos bring me peace. Thank you so much, Hannah and Chris!
I always seem to "like" your videos within the first thirty seconds and have never regretted it. Thank you for another adventure!
OMG wow! I love the snow and the cultural experiences, I mean food, and the carts under the shinkansen platform blow my mind!
Man what a fun video! The dynamic subtitles, your Skier Anime Training Arc, Chris's honest opinion about your skiing, and all the snow!...and always a chuckle from any "that's what she said" because I never grew up...
For people from tropical country, a vision of snow is a major travel experience.
This is why Japan is so strong in the Winter Olympics. People in northern part of Japan all learn winter sports such as skiing from childhood. In Niigata, even children as young as five years old can ski.
This recall my memory of last vacation at NASPA Ski Garden in 2020 Feb! What a fun 😄
Pretty nice. Niigata is such an amazing place.. Good job!👏
Thanks to you and Chris for making and sharing this video. It’s enchanting especially when I can’t travel to a place like this for a long while to come given the pandemic! 😘

That place looks lovely, I've never been skiing and that looks like a charming place to do so for the first time.

Hahaha that’s a great story! I’ve definitely seen some badass kids on the ski slopes in Japan!

I have never seen anyone get the hang of skiing so fast! Great video you guys. Thanks for snowtime.
That ending is a gem 😂 Hannah : "That was so much harder than i thought it would be, that's what she said "
It looks like a snowy dream, so beautiful ❤️ also you guys killed skiing (I’m not a skier either so it looked good to me 😅 )
Amazing work, as always! 🙌

This was so fun to watch! Seems like you switched up the music choice a little for this one too and I dug it. 👍
Thank you for visiting my hometown ❤ “Sasadango” is a traditional sweet of Niigata.
Great video, thanks for sharing 💯💖👍
What a beautiful experience! I hope Japan opens up for tourism again soon!

Haha yeah it’s still a novelty for me but I’m sure if you lived in the snow it’s can get annoying at times lol
I miss snow so much!!!!!! Looks like you guys had an absolutely amazing time. Also I didn’t realize that there are such spots that only have skiing 🤯
I'm developing the habit of finding quiet time, with a coffee and a biscuit (or three) to sit and listen to the sounds and enjoy the sights of your vlogs.
That sake place blew my mind! We have places like that for wine but not sake.
Japow! There's no snow better than Japan's! And yes, snowboarding is much more fun!
Good job editing & storytelling. I see the big effort in each shot. I can appreciate the overall work that goes into your videos :)

One of your best videos yet.
Some of those skiing spills looked gnarly!
Haha yeah I had a huge headache after that big one lol
Fantastic! You seemed to be getting the hang of it. Good for you!
Your videos always amuses me 😌 tx Hannah!!!
Just Perfect
Omgosh, send us some of that snow please!!!
The skiing part looked like so much damn fun. Your production quality is wild, it's almost like being there. Haven't touched snow in 3 years now, I need it!!
