Hello Nick from 🇸🇬 Thanks for the video, this reminds me of my 90s console used to play. Nintendo or famicom. I think games don’t work because you didn’t blow the cartridge and repeatedly pressing reset while adjusting the cartridge till it work. I am a modern gamers and of cause not to forget my retro games still playing it with just fun enjoying it and less stress than modern games. There’s some nice famicom game believe you played and is hard to find physical copy. Like phantom fighter, ninja brother and probably flying warrior 1 & 2 😅 Please do more video, you making me want to go back my collection which never ending 😂
Thank you for watching. My friend 🧡 and I tested the cartridges on my og new famicom but they worked fine, so I think it's the compatibility issue, but that's okay, as long as it can run the og cartridge, it's worth the price😆 I'm so glad you like the retro games and yeah, they're really fun. I'll post other videos in the future ❤️
Best comment at 3:36: "I know this version. This one sucks". LOL 🙂 As for the other cartridges that did not run, did you retry those cartridges? Also, the Famicom Game - Exeron - looks really smooth for a 30- to 40-year-old 8-bit game. It looks pretty cool too. 🙂
Thank you for watching, my friend. There's a far better version of bootleg SFII on famicom, and yeah, the Exerion was old, developed in 1985, same age as me 😊
@@cnlonegamer The Exeron from 1985 still runs pretty smooth. The controls look easy and does not seem to be too sensitive with the D-pad. It looks pretty fun too. Also, the retro games are games that the individual or small group of friends discussed or played in person. I don't really like being glued to a screen and play with or against somebody (like with online games). And I don't like how sometimes, you need to down-load stuff with the current online games.
@MD-tw6hr I'm so glad that you like Exerion, and yes, me too. I really don't like to play online with others, but I like to play co-op or fighting games offline sometimes, just like the good old arcade days. At least you can leave at any time. And those endless patches and dlcs are really annoying 🤣
@ I agree. I think with the rise of the internet, and the modification of the internet allowed people to "stay connected" via AOL Instant Messenger, Email, and even online gaming. But to remain interactive, a game player must remain online. The physical aspect is no longer there. Playing with or against an opponent in-person is very different and seems more significant than playing online. I especially enjoyed arcades, but there aren't many these days.
@MD-tw6hr Yes, my friend. Even Nintendo's games are supporting the online multi-player mode nowadays. And I'm glad that you love arcade too. That's why they have the Arcade 1-up series😄
@@cnlonegamer Yes! I see a lot of those get reviewed and get decent views. I personally like buying those unlicensed game consoles just to see what kind of crazy knockoff games are on it.
for those games that didn't work, try using a regular pencil eraser on the pins to clean them, followed by some 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the pins and try again to see if they work. Might just be dirty.
It has something to do with the famiclones emulation. Flash carts don't work in a lot of clones, I can't get my SNES flash to work in a portable supaboy. @@cnlonegamer
wow, Exeron looks awesome! i wish we got it over here. Too bad the everdrive didnt work. but having the famiclone with HDMI in the original style of the famicom is dope. all you need now is an 8bitdo NES bluetooth adapter and controller!
Thank you for watching, the arcade version of Exerion was released worldwide, so you can try it someday or even emulated version on MAME, it's really fun 😊
@cnlonegamer well nick, I have many different ways we can try it out when you come for school so since I've waited 30 years to play it already I can wait longer for the master exerion player to show me the ropes in it!
@GourryX Ahh.. sorry, I just played on the wolf MAME provided by Twin Galaxies 😆 but yes, I've been playing some old school arcade games when I was a child, like Double Dragon, Contra, TMNT and the Elevator Action 🤣
It's been so long since I played Exerion, forgot about the sound effect when the aircraft goes up. Don't think the game is as good as Image Fight or Final Mission but it's okay
@thesecretofmana That must be pricey, I don't know why, but in the local online market, those carts made in Taiwan are always more expensive than the original cartridge s🤣
A shame this machine can't run Everdrives. Otherwise, it doesn't seem terrible overall. Also didn't know Powkiddy made multi-carts. That's pretty neat.
Playing alone, finally!
I'll play and record more because the ghost market is closed right now 😊
Great replica console, the hdmi port is convenient. And more importantly, it has the composite video output, very useful for playing light gun games.
@terence79chan Yes, man. But it's pity that I don't have a crt TV anymore 🤣
maybe you could pick up one at the Ghost Market after the Chinese New Year.
@terence79chan Ahh... I think so, but I can't carry it to Canada in August, so I have to pass🤣

Wow that Japanese Famicom shooter looks so fun!
Yes, man. You can try the arcade version on MAME 😆
I really loved this video. Hope to see more like this. Thank you brother ✌️

Great video as always, Nick. I wonder if that Everdrive could work after another clean?
Thank you for watching, my friend, and believe me, they worked fine on my new famicom, and this clone system just had the compatibility issues 😂
Now you should review the other famiclone you bought last time from the market, that one will play everything as I told you its a true clone.
Yes, man. I believe you, but I don't have that kind of available cable, so I'll leave it to my friend😊
You should review all those fami clone games! People like seeing those silly knockoff games!

If something can not run the authentic bootleg from 90s it is waste of money.

how is the picture quality on the tv ?
@noodles4773 I think it's good, but the compatibility issue is annoying 😑
I used to play alot of gradius on nes.
Yeah, that game is awesome, too 😊
You mentioned that you played it in the arcades. How was that scene when you grew up in China? Would be an interesting topic for a future video.

Famicom version of Street Fighter II runs better than the Commodore 64 version. 😅
