The post face lift E63 W212 which you show never had the 6.2 litre NA block. Only the pre face lift W212 did. The post has a biturbo 5.5 litre block which has the potential to do up to 30mpg. You will have to tune it to see it go 0-60 in less than 4 seconds though. It’s a car I’m considering as my next car, either that or a W204 C63 that does have the 6.2 litre NA block
The older the W212 gets, the more I like the styling. The older W211 gen E class is still my favourite Merc though, they felt much more luxurious than any later models. I've thought about buying every car on this list at some point, with the E63 coming the closest but I never got as far as actually driving one, the M6 put me off super saloons pretty impressively since I found it less fun than a 520d...I should at least go back and test drive 1-2 of these though, just when I'm not looking for a new car since I don't want to find I love one of them and accidentally buy it 😂
