  • What happens inside of everyday items when they get crushed by a hydraulic press? We are going to find out on this experiment where we use x-ray source and x-ray camera to film insides of things getting crushed with 10 ton hydraulic press!

Wonderful! You are breaking into a whole new world of video possibilities, "doing irreverent things with insanely expensive scientific equipment". These things have always happened, but no one except the experimenters ever got to know. At a place I used to work, an unofficial experiment tested the hypothesis that cockroaches could survive the most radiation of any common (meaning, easily available) insect species. The result was that cockroaches scored a distant second to Box Elder Bugs. I don't remember how long the exposure was, but Box Elder Bugs walked away after being exposed to a 1,000,000 R cobalt 60 source, the cockroaches died quickly. Now THAT'S science!

Everybody looked stoned at the beginning of the vid. Makes me feel right at home.
The added noise was very funny and it was great to see how the Duplo blocks distorted internally during crush. Nice job.
