@@varunpratapsingh5606 Badminton isn't the most popular sport in China but it has the most players (pro and casual) and they're still usually the most dominant on the world stage. They have the ranked no 1 MD, WD, XD players and also the current WS Olympic Champion. They lack a true MS star since Lin Dan retired. Even Chen Long who dominated for a few years during Lin Dan's later years never reached true stardom.
I swear man, the height of africans is indeed a great advantage in badminton, I hope they continue to play, support, and improve in badminton, they could be at top of BWF ranking , they have the potential😊
So many talents, and still not enough representatives from Africa in top international tournaments. Maybe if bwf decided to hold one of their tournaments in Africa, it'd bring more benefits to the sport. As far as I know though, they don't.
@@panorama4526 Yes it's quite popular in Asia but it's a European originated game so it's popular in Europe as well. However, it's a little bit less popular in Africa and South America.
Mana poinnya tipis bgt lagi, selisih 32 poin aja.
This is literally the first time in my entire life seeing a black person play badminton. I've never seen it IRL in 10 years and I regulary go to tournaments and competition
@@leanhtuan2324 ping pong and table tennis are different games in scoring , rules and the bat. Table tennis bat has soft thick rubber on both sides and ping pong is hard.
@@leanhtuan2324 lol 'knowing' about it and actually popularizing it are two different things. You think Africans were allowed to play badminton in the colonial era?
How about exhibition fight between football between Indonesia team and their team? What do you think the score is going to be? Calm down bruh each country has their own strength in different sports.
I'd watch my mouth if I were you, these guys... despite the enormous disadvantage of their country not supporting the sport, combined with the fact that badminton pays sht, have reached to a point where they are 100+ in the world ranking. I doubt they earn much through badminton, most of these guys literally get a part time job to fund their travels to tournaments. The fact that they can get to this level is nothing short of remarkable, give them the credit they deserve
They would probably still kick your butt, you expect people from Nigeria, who don't have good facitilities to train in, to play as well as people from other more developed countries? Ffs maybe try not to act like a total jackass
Good to know the african nations are also encouraging this sport.
Wowww
China has major investment in Africa.
@@luf4rall badminton is not a priority sport for China now. They have passed their Peak.

Africa probably just doesn't have the capability to host a bwf world tour tournament
