  • My good friend designed and 3D printed some Avenger coins for me to cast.
    He also gave me some scrap copper pipes from when he remodeled his bathroom. I used those pipes to make the coins and had a lot of fun doing it.
    I hope you all enjoy watching this one as much as I did making it...
    Enjoy and have a great weekend!

    Love watching copper cool. No patterns are identical. And the flasked pours look awesome.

    Im glad you had fun today, well that day. I had fun watching. It's relaxing. I really like the natural look of the coins. It reminds me of old pirate coins. How they should look - not perfect. I hope you make another video soon. They're just so good! I hope you have a great next week. I'll see you next time!

      Thank you Tracy! I actually found time, and forced myself to melt, and edit, and upload all in one day! This melt was today, I am a little tired after 4 hours in the garage and 6 hours of straight editing to publish this one. I about to hit the shower and head to bed! I proved to myself that it can be done, and I’m going to try my best to get back on a weekly rotation!!!

      @TheGrowingStack I know it's definitely a second job. I know you work hard. That's why your videos are so fun to watch. You can tell how much you care about a great job well done. I want you to know that I notice! I can't wait to see what you come up with next. And if you can only do biweekly or monthly videos, so be it. I just wanted to give you a giant pat on the back. 😜

    I'm so glad you got longer gloves! Or am I imagining it? Anyway, I always enjoy watching you melt stuff. The coins look good. And the bar reminds me of crazy lace agate - very cool!

    Good to see you again my friend.. I hope you are staying cool there.. It is already crazy hot here in Texas so assume it is bad there now also. Be careful those grinders can be a booga bear if they get ahold of those gloves doing it by hand.. Don't ask how I know LOL They all turned Ok. The pattern on the bar was different for sure. Stay safe in that heat and be safe in all you do.. Want to keep seeing your videos. Much love and respect my friend.

      Thank you my friend! You are awesome as always!! It was hot today, it is getting hotter, but I hydrate the best I can while working and making videos. That pattern was pretty crazy on the copper bar, and the coins were like you said, Ok. I was happy enough with the result. Can’t wait to see you on the next one! 👍

    Nice, another idea if possible is to see if you could layer a mold. like pour copper, then aluminium, then maybe like brass or something. Not sure if it will work, but if so the bar would look cool.

      He tried something like that a while ago, but the melting points were so different that stuff just melted together!

    Great video as usual. Nice camera work during the pours. How many hours of work does it take to give us these minutes of entertainment?

    • @TheGrowingStack
      @TheGrowingStack  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you Jim! Good to hear from you as always! Well I did this one all in one day, yesterday. I haven’t had time to melt lately, so I was determined to get it done. I spent 4 hours in the garage going non stop, from start to finish, cleanup and everything. Then another 6 hours of straight editing to cut the hour and a half of footage down. Sometimes they take longer depending on the amount of polishing, what the project was, etc. 👍

    Love your content! Your treasure chest is growing. If i have missed it, i apologize, have you ever casted dice? A pair of Cu or Alum dice might not work so well with the rear view mirror and the windshield but maybe the trailer hitch?? Less tacky then them plastic bull balls you see on lifted trucks... I may have spent to much time in the sun today. Cheers from Wisconsin!

      @TheGrowingStack  11 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you so much! I love how the chest is growing too! I haven’t done dice yet, I want to but I need to figure out how to do it right. It’s on my list of things to try for sure! Thank you and much love from Arizona! 👍
