I have noticed that all the people over 30 are like that, that I've seen atleast and it scares me so much. They simply go to work, watch, tv, sleep. Maybe raise their kid on the side but they are so busy and tired from working that meaningless job so they can just go back to watching tv or atleast go back to spending time with their family (which is honorable)

    2. Understand the frame of the game and keep the end goal in mind to create order.
    3. Setting rules and aligning with values can make life more enjoyable.
    4. Feedback and automating decisions can lead to success.
    5. Strike a balance between anxiety and boredom and match the skill level to the challenge.
    6. Perspective determines information and it is important to structure it to perceive it accurately.

Everyone plays video games for different reasons. Life would be absolutely no different. What one player might be trying to get out of the game is going to be different from another. Some want the highest score, some want to get all the achievements, some want to explore the lore, some want to explore the world, some just want to have fun. So why is the same not often applied to people's understanding of how to live life?

    • @J.Darwin
      @J.Darwin Год назад +37

Thats true. I always think about how video games encompass a reallife desire, that it fullfills, but its just a ''fake'' solving of that desire. I played csgo, because I want to be good at what I do, I want to be valued by my friends, instead of doing it in reallife. I played minecraft to discover new things, to create beauty with my own hands. I played survival games, because I love the struggle they represent and I lacked purpose in my life, I desperately wanted a challenge in reallife.

Control. People's understanding is contrived by controlling people creating frameworks to control others. The media, governments, corporations, religions all exercise control. The worst controllers want docile controllable people, sedated people, reduced people, sick people, poor people, and the depopulation of people. Even video games are a form of sedation to control. It takes a quite a critical thinker to break out of this system.

Life is often compared to a game. We all have goals we want to achieve, challenges we must overcome, and obstacles to overcome. And just like in a video game, the key to winning is to have a strategy and to stay focused on your goals.
The first step to winning in life is to set clear goals for yourself. This could be anything from getting a promotion at work to losing weight to traveling the world. Whatever your goals are, it's important to write them down and to have a plan for how you're going to achieve them.
Once you have your goals in place, it's time to start working on them. This means putting in the effort and taking action. It's important to stay focused and to avoid getting sidetracked by distractions. This could mean turning off your phone and setting aside dedicated time to work on your goals.
Another key to winning in life is to stay positive. Just like in a video game, there will be setbacks and challenges along the way. But it's important to stay focused on your goals and to believe in yourself. Surround yourself with people who support you and who will help you stay motivated.
Finally, it's important to stay flexible and to be open to change. Life is unpredictable, and things will not always go according to plan. Be prepared to adapt and to change your strategy if necessary.
In conclusion, life is like a video game. The key to winning is to set clear goals, to take action, to stay positive, and to be flexible. With a good strategy and a lot of hard work, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Until you decide what class you play, the actual abilities of the class don’t matter that much.
Until you decide your profession, you don’t have direction about the tools you’ll use and how you’ll give back to the marketplace.

"Howling may be heard at night, but it is not a behavior directed at the moon. Instead, it is used as a social rally call, a hail to hunt or as a territorial expression. Did you know that individuals have different howls that can be heard by other wolves 6-7 mile away? A howl can even help a lost wolf find its way home."

I really needed this right now, Dan! I am at a mental place of turmoil and have been researching how to improve/"level up" myself and my circumstances relentlessly. I feel stuck in life even though I am not. One thing that truly helped was hearing you talk about the different levels and skill sets people are on. Constantly I have been comparing and wondering if I could ever amount to anything further. It has diminished my dreams into nothing...
I'm at a lower level than some and cannot expect to use level 50 skills when I am not there yet!
Thank you SO much. This is life changing for me.

    Amazing content!
It resonates with my belief about life as being a game.
The frame of the game can be expounded more.
The frame creates the clarity of task in a game. What is visible to the player is the things that the player can only do to achieve a goal.
And there are different types of frames in a game. There fixed frames, free-roaming frames, scenery frames, text frames, blank frames, etc
Frames can also be classified as clustered frames, or spacious frames.
Success is affected by the one who controls the frame of the game.
One thing I realized, correct me if I'm wrong, is to put more effort or willpower on re-framing your frame of the game to increase enthusiasm and decrease the feelings of exhaustion. And this is what we do when we try to learn new philosophies, beliefs, principles or ideas,
re-framing the frame of the game.
I like your content, Dan! Thanks for sharing this to us.

The trick is taking risk in small steps. Understand every process and what could go wrong before jumping in. Know one thing you are just 9ne person and to spread that idea/solution can be a breeze. This can take minutes to centuries depending on what you want to achieve. Addiction can heed this progression so much though. I can't tell you how many people that were so intelligent but so damaged by addiction including myself. I think it's all tests at times depending what game you are playing or just even born into. I totally get it.

I think the best quote to sum up this video is "consistency is the key to success". Constant learning and improvement is the only key to satisfaction in life I figured lately. Many people, including my old self, only choose to complain or dramatise the sitautions they are in and when it comes to actually having to do the hard work to get themselves self out of it, they mostly choose to run away or let it crash them. I'd say that self-development, though, should be the second step in expressing ones spiritual nature. Then the goals have ultimate purpose and the time of life that is provided for a person is not wasted developing in a direction not related to the goals of ones inner truth. On the other hand though... if one is suffering in his life already from ones choices, an ordered coherent approach is the perfect solvent for all created suffering.
For all of you, who are on this journey of power, truth and growth.

In all honesty I have no idea. I think about it quite a lot as well. But, supply and demand. You're right, they are necessary, but solutions are being built to require less manual labor. And if more people push towards their desired life, we will have to get creative and solve those problems like we have many other things leading to this point. 20 years ago the iPhone would be seen as alien magic. 20 years is a tinyyyyy percentage of human life. And those that are aware of what we discuss in these videos are an even tinier percentage of the human population. You, personally, have free reign to do this with little worry about civilization dissolving. P.S. just spitballing here

That's a big problem more people should work on honestly. In Germany nursing homes are chronically understaffed, less and less people want to work there for minimum wage, overwork, possible diseases, night shifts. People start striking and atleast they may achieve that theyll pay them more to make them content again.
My favourite thing I discovered recently, was a bar, that shared 50% of the profit with the employees. So if they sold more and had better service, they'd get a fair cut of the value they brought.
These nursing homes make MASSIVE amounts of cash, but the employees get nothing out of it. And it is one of the worst jobs, because you are caring for humans, they will feel bad for going on a strike, they will feel bad for wanting to leave the elderly alone. Which is fucked up, the employees know that and abuse it to the moon and back. I experienced that myself as an ambulance driver.

@@DanKoeTalks thank you for not ignoring the question even though I admit the reply might not fit into a "comment" anyway. These are complex issues. My worry is that we are seeing what the lack of education and good dedicated teachers is doing to the populations - no ability for critical thinking, no tolerance, no knowledge of history or culture, no manners or etiquette, no male role models in schools... school should teach you what the parents did not know/couldn't/were too busy to... an example of deterioration of a system. Same with hospitals etc... I know I am naive as well. I know life can't be fair to all at the same time. The only semi-solution/idea I had would be to educate those people about investing. So at least they have a little avenue of income that is not dependent on their time. Thanks again for giving this issue some thought.

First time watching a video here. Saw this in my feed and was intrigued as this has been a model that has informed my world.
First, I just want to say well done on this and creating intelligent content. It's obvious that you genuinely want to help your audience. It's great to see this in the scammy world we live in.
And to the audience, you're in good hands. There are lots of great insights here.
I thought I'd add a couple of things from what I've learned. Don't allow how you feel to guide you or to determine how you're going to spend your time.
The truth is, in order to accomplish big audacious goals means we have to usually do things we don't like. It's a fact of life. Too many people use "I don't feel like it" as a barometer of whether or not they should do something, and I say, "Your feelings don't matter."
You need to decide on what you want to accomplish first. Be bold and find the thing that you genuinely want to pursue. Once you have chosen a long-term goal, you then have to determine how to achieve it.
Always start with the end goal. Where do you want to end up, then do everything that's required to get there. How you feel has nothing to do with the work required to get to your destination.
If you want to write a great novel
And you wake up on Tues, not wanting to write, you need to ask yourself: "Do I really want to write a great novel?" If you answer yes, then you need to ignore how you feel in the moment and begin doing something related to writing your novel, like writing or researching, even when you don't want to.
If not, you'll never accomplish the goal.
Like a video game, the goals of the game aren't things you always want to do, but you can't progress if you don't do the main tasks, so you do them. In games, you use the character to accomplish ingame tasks. In life, you need to use yourself to accomplish the tasks to get you to the next level. Feelings and opinions only get in the way.
Your feelings are horrible at advising you for a lot of things, especially work related. Feelings obviously have value. That's not my point here. Knowing when to use your intellect to make a decision and when to follow your emotions is one of the most valuable skills as a human.
Sorry, i thought I could make my point quicker.

Great video and breakdown! Hit the nail on the head
I've been talking about this since 2015/16 and no one really understood what I meant and now I'm happy this idea is becoming more mainstream, I ended up studying simulation theory in detail and the correlation with life being a video game with Tom Campbell author of My Big TOE (theory of everything) and he correlates the whole point of human consciousness is to lower entropy (chaos theory) which ultimately means lower the amount of randomness through creating order on a macro and micro.
As a collective species we're attempting to create order and lower entropy, and on a personal ego level our lives are designed to lower entropy / randomness as much as possible and live our lives essentially in a state of love not fear. When we live in love we are lowering entropy and fulfilling our purpose here on earth, when we're living in survival and out of fear that is when entropy is at its highest and we're usually not fulfilling our purposes and our life will reflect back to us a specific set of conditions where we feel poor, fearful, unhappy and unfulfilled, no physical thing can provide us internal fulfillment when we're living in fear and high entropy.
The biggest takeaway I can offer anyone reading this would be: create order in your own personal life starting with your home, personal belongings, beliefs and values, do a complete inventory cleanout of your life and use the law of subtraction and remove anything that no longer brings value to you, and watch how everything you've been wanting for a long time come into your life! Literal cheat code
Happy new year guys, make this your greatest year yet and keep levelling up! Life is truly what you make it

I’ve been on a journey for many many years since getting sober. I’ve been getting closer and closer to what I call “the click ins” where the epiphany is so strong it “clicks” and sticks in my mind. It’s how my brain works I’ve learned. But my point to this is your video is where it finally made sense as a whole. I new most of the info maybe but the way you brilliantly worded it I got my “click in” from this video. I don’t know if my brain works different due to the trauma of 20years of drug use but I just want to say thank you for making it all make sense in my brain. I cannot thank you enough. I’m back to watch again and again until I completely begin living by my own rules and values. Because I know now I get to make those rules. Thank you so much you very wise soul.

Really interesting concept of how to see/treat life. This idea popped up in my head a few days ago and after watching some videos about it, I have to admit that this one is by for the most interesting and also beneficial video for me. Thank you for that! Looking forward to implement these ideas step by step.

Thank You, Dan! Life is a game for sure now I just need to build my dream business online. It`s scary because I have never done it before :) But life is about learning! And you were so rihgt about the tutorials- too much is just too much and after that starting anything is hard :)

Great video, thank you!!! Thoroughly enjoyed it, made me think of "The Game of Life and How To Play It" - a great book!! All is in our mind, we just need to decide who we want to be and go for it, whatever it takes!

Man, your content does really resonate with me. I never saw someone on RUclips before that I can relate to so much in terms of the way of thinking. I think you mentioned you are 26 years old so you are about my age, I am 28.
You clearly have a vision which I gladly support. Really, you are the first person on RUclips I seriously considered getting a product from and went through with it. I have a lot to say and I think maybe the 2 Hour Writer will open up some oppurtunities.
I am german but I want to start writing in english. I feel confident enough with my english skills and I can only learn to become better in the language along the way.
To shorten this, some final words: keep up what you're doing, I am veeery curious about how you will progress and evolve in the future, same as I am curious about how I progress and evolve.
,,Treat your life as a science project", is not a quote from you in this video but that expression you chose there did stick to my mind since it is what I love most in life: Performing research on myself ^^

Dude the flow state is real. I love it when I’m there. A great read from back in the day is called “The Game of Life and How to Play it” by Florence Scovel Shinn. It’s got a bit of metaphysical woo to it, but it has charm that has practical applications that can be implemented.

Thank you. I had an allergy bout and as a creator who also body builds, I found I had to double down on my discipline as much it hurts and as tired as I am. I just made a game of taking a shower and drinking water and I gave myself metaphorical points. Wish me health. Bless❤
