He is one of the best singers to ever sing on the voice. He just needs a legendary song writer to pass him a couple hits and then he will go down in the history books.
Sundance..I'm sure has a great life and back story and all..but no way could he EVER touch Billy Gillman!! Yes..Billy had some great early success, but had an awesome back story as well. This one is a story of redemption and road back after heartbreak, a voice change and having to totally reinvent himself and his voice. He was definitely robbed and he will always surpass Sundance in a singing career. He's humble and kind and was a gracious runner up that night on the voice..he did not show the heartbreak I'm sure he had. I'd not heard a thing of this man (Sundance) before or since his Performancehere on the voice 8 years ago now..but I have Billy. He's still amazing. Still cranking out albums and staying relevant. Sundance has a style and a set of pipes all his own..but again..he cannot be compared to BG!! Apples and Oranges..Good luck and God bless both Billy and Sundance.
