This console was Purchased by myself at full price and my views remain my own. Thank you to the ZX Touch team for allowing me early access to the firmware.

Some excellent upgrades there. I don't have one yet but it's on my list. Its great that there is support for what is a bit of a niche device. This is what the vega should have been and I hope its a success and look forward to getting one in the near future.
These upgrades are simply surperb - I have been so busy using some of the new features - so busy...
I purchased this last week, and it has brought back my love of my Speccy days as a kid, lovely unit.
Hey excellent - it's wonderful to see read you are enjoying it. We are months into my purchase and I am simply loving what is going on with this unit - I really am. I do like to make my own ZTG files ( there is a video elsewhere on that ) and it is so satisifying to see them on the dashboard. One problem is I will play one that will trigger memories of others so I am trapped in a loop of play - remember - make - play - remember - make on creating the files.
@@GentlemensPixelClub Working on doing them myself, my first attempt didn't go well but that will teach me not to read the manual.
Absolutely brilliant video THANK YOU. I was waiting for the option to add art work... just bought one off their store on ebay. I know I can play them on my legion go but the dedication from the developers I am more than happy to support them with our shared passion for the Spectrum. Can't wait to get one now. Thanks again for sharing this video 😊

Hey thank you - it was a pleasure showing this one off for ZX Touch. What a great update the designers did.
Think I’m going to have to invest in one of these. It really is lovely and looks a decent step up from DS or Vita for Zx emulation.
For me, I simply love it and I payed full price. The latest updates on the firmware you see here as well make it even better with the Dashboard you can customise. It's easy to spend other peoples money, but from a person ( myself ) who missed out on the Vega+ when they did the campaign was disapointed. Obviously the end result was not good at all. This has zero press until it came out - just to show it was real and was an instant buy for me. I've wasted so much money over the years on retro products, this is one I do not regret at all.
@@GentlemensPixelClub Yeah, I lost out on Vega+ but did get a Next in KS2. I think I’m going to go ahead and order. Cheers.
Some nice improvements there, I can’t say that I experienced any original firmware issues.
Thank you, another great ZXTouch video, I've upgrades the firmware (1.10 file now available from ZXTouch site) and created new screen with favourite titles. Now attempting to add tape box art! Would be fab to see a video on how you convert box art and create info pages, cheers.

I personally like what happens after 10:30 ish on the video - it was so awesome to see.

Can you maybe talk me through adding 48 & 128k rom’s to the touch ?Have a few games that I can’t get working on the touch and not sure what I am doing as not very tech savvy ! Any help gratefully appreciated.
Sure - can you do me a favour and message me the list on X and it'll be easier then using these comments or post a list here, either way post the full list. I can then take a look and I'll see what I can do. I might have already done some of them anyways ! :)
Can the new added screen games not be played on the full screen without the on screen keyboard ?
Yes they can - I just never toggled it off as I was running through the features - but 100% new added games will start in full screen unless you have left the keyboard on like I did.

Hmmmm. Downloaded firmware but I cannot for the life of me upgrade it. I have put it direct on root of sd card and it cant find it. I've also put it in the firmwares folder and still it does'nt show. Zipped or unzipped nothing works. Tried on wi fi and it cant connect to server.... Don't make sense. I know sd card works fine as I have put Atic Atac on and it loads flawlessly ......
I'm using a 4gb sd formatted at fat32 by the way.
Tried a 32gb SD card and its worked ok now.. Weird did'nt like the 4gb for some reason ????

@GentlemensPixelClub I can't thank you enough for your help mate. I finally set up my Next I had before Christmas (I have been having treatment for cancer so been very ill since October) and I've had many happy memories playing old games. Not touched the Ps5 for weeks. I'm 51 this year never thought I'd be playing Sabrewulf all these years later !
