Yeah I was lucky enough to back on the Kickstarter to get one. I'll probably back again on the third KS, I'd have to have to need to replace it if it broke.

Off the top of my head I don't know the exact one, but it will be 0.261 or later but it does work in 0.271 that I have just tested. Remember you need the artwork files as well to make it look like I show. I've posted a pic on my X account showing the view in 0.271( x.com/gentlemenpixel/status/1860963464870502699 ).

The sunglasses have been looking stupid for years - I actially have really bad eyes with screens and lights as a serious migraine sufferer and some of my tinted ones due to chroma key really screws things up !

Oh yes - it was awful coming home - but loved every moment of being there.

Yeah indeed - some of these unofficial games are pretty good - perhaps Nintendo won't see it thay way, but still good to see.

Just for clarity - I am not a shill for this and I paid for this for my own money. The problems you describe are not what I see and I have setup a few hundred games and also never had a problem with the controls either or speed of games. If you want to hold off putting it on eBay, reach out to me on Twitter / X and if I can help get you up and running I will. Also might be worth checking - you did put the official roms on didn't you - this might be some of the compatibility problems ? If I can help - or you want help - reach out to me ? Best case you get up and running - worst case you are still not happy and it goes.

Thanks for the offer, I don’t have any social media accounts but I just don’t have the time to set this up the way I would like. And everything I’ve tried does not work. So far it offers me nothing I didn’t already have with less hassle on an emulator.

Yes closer to 45 years as it came out in 1980 ! First time I played this game was in a place called the Concorde Centre back than, I can show you pretty much the excact location using "What Three Words" that is "saying.remove.about". How time flies ! I hope it brought a smile to your face seeing the game.

Many thanks for repling to the video - I love it when devlopers give their time to do this. Playing on the channel the way it's done here only gives a brief snapshot of everything there is as we only have time for a short video. I am taking on board all you have said here and when I go back to this privately I will do. I'll also do another video - this game is worth shouting about and I will play a lot more - you set a really good impression with your talent and the rest of the team members. Thanks for more info on that tutorial challenge - I will fear those sections in the game when I hit them !

@@GentlemensPixelClub I'll be totally honest here. its something that wouldn't bother 99% of people. The rewind function, yes I know you don't have to use it but I feel it doesn't belong in Spectrum games and it annoyed me that it was even there. so I reverted to v1.10 Each to their own I guess.

@@stevesgaming7475 You are right, you don't have to use it and you can turn it off and save your default config as well. Perhaps I can offer a use case for it with respect to your opinion - games like The Hobbit where you can spend ages in the goblins dungeon and get killed by RNG, being able to step back a turn this is helpful - certinally on adventure games at the very least. The author will be adding more to the console and you might end up orphaning yourself by not upgrading as well. So perhaps the mindset of this is for adventure games and turn it off - maybe that will sit better ?

Yeah they have hit the ball out the park with this one. I love the fact they've built a new game around a lot of old retro vibes by using Crash. I do hope this one does really well for the author and also the publisher of the physical.

Many thanks for the feedback on this video - sounds to me it might be the first time you have seen this masterpiece and if so, that makes me happy as the whole point is bringing the attention of games to a wider auidence who may have missed them. You can - I can't. When I make these videos I am using early ZX Touch firmware and it is not available for OTA. As an example, if you watch the video you will see the Rewind Time part at 38:11. This was added in a few days before the firmware release and inserted into the video a couple of weeks after making the first version of this without that feature.
