I love how Rhett's boys adjust with his looks and basically look like teenage versions of him now.
Was thinking the same thing 🤣
ikr, so funny
Link's kids look like characters from whoville.
I'm sure they're the type that don't express love with words but their looks say just how much they look up to him and respect him😂
Instablaster.
The cover photo really says 2000’s soft grunge band
edit: I really said grudge 6 months ago? LOL
And I loved it omg 😍

Lol I thought that too
They said this in the episode when I listened to the audio version earlier in the week and now seeing it I’m like wow they literally do hahaha so funny

It's the Celtic blood
@@SirFrederick that’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever heard
They are both such amazing story tellers.
So true
I don’t know if y’all ever read these comments but I wanted to say that ear biscuits is the thing that brings me so much joy in a time where being in healthcare is truly heartbreaking. I am so thankful for your eloquent storytelling and wonderful content, it’s helping me while I deal with the ever changing climate of nursing school.
Edit: I am officially a registered nurse and start my dream job next week in August 2021, crazy times! Couldn’t have done it without mythical and the crew
I hope they see this beautiful comment 😊🙌
❤️
I am so glad you have this, Zoe. And I am grateful for what you and your colleagues do.
I feel the exact same way, being a healthcare student is one of the most difficult things right now and GMM and ear biscuits is my chill out time each day
Good luck with nursing school ❤️
I love that rhetts boys are growing their hair out like their dad. his oldest is looking so much like him
Strong genes, good jeans
The dads that we'll never have..

two teenage boys going off in the dark to "explore" sounds like when your burnout uncle wants to take a walk before thanksgiving dinner. A great excuse to smoke some weed.
that's what i was thinking. they weren't scared at the campfire cus of rhett ;p xD
I love link calling his son a sensitive soul. I was always called a cry baby but I think those intelligent emotions are so important and important to acknowledge in your children
I feel like each episode about the boys is just another lesson teaching me how to be the best dad one day.
Aww ❤
Link with a beard is an odd sight, but I like it
Me too! He either went full Dad Mode or Quarantine Chic
@@isabelxy3197 I think it was just a vacation beard. This was filmed during the break between seasons, if not slightly before. He's shaved again on the new GMM season (sadly).
Link’s beard was seen in those 5 GMM Christmas special episodes. Each episode counted down the top 5 moments of 2020 before Season 19 of GMM.
@@hungtheheroluu Exactly. After last season, before this season, not exactly sure when. But thanks for the reminder, I knew it was there for some other episodes but it wasn't clicking.
I am not sure yet.
I've never been this excited for someone to tell a story about their vacation.... You guys have been such a shining light of positivity in my life especially in these last couple months of darkness and depressiveness.
Agree 😊🙏🏻
Absolutely......I look forward to the stories. Always brightens my day.
💯 TRUE! I feel the exact same way! I hope they realize how much of an impact they have in people's lives. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and Rhett and Link have helped me calm myself & pull myself out of those dark places. Love them like family and I've never even met them in person 😆
Completely agree! Same here. Xxx
Yeah I love them so much
Honestly links van looks like a Amazon delivery truck😄
It pretty much is haha
Link's smile when Rhett says I'm so glad you had that idea ☺️

Ahh, I remember when I had a yelling match with my dad over driving practice. 🤣 my dad would yell at me "GO THAT WAY!!" and I would angerly scream back at him with tears in my eyes "FOR GOD'S SAKE! SAY LEFT OR RIGHT!!"
We usually had 2 days rest in between each practice 😅 mom refused to die young so she didn't help.
My dad is notorious for mixing up directions so I have to make sure he's pointing as well. (Plus a bunch of other stuff too; dealing with parents is hard.) He also didn't know how to read a map (with GPS for god's sake) and made me have a terrible moment where I had to stop in the middle of, like, many roads up to a bridge/highway on-ramp or something and back up and turn around, and this was almost immediately after where everyone turns onto the road so I was just praying that people weren't bring reckless and would notice our hazard and backup lights. (I'm not explaining it well, it was downright awful.) Luckily it wasn't super busy but geez.
The best driving lesson was when I was in college and my friend taught me how to drive stick. We went to a big empty parking lot on campus. We were roaring with laughter with all the stalling and Jerky motions. It was great because I didn't feel the stress of having a parent yelling and clutching the dashboard.
I learned to drive without a license after I left home to move states when I was 17
Best way to learn is by trying really hard not to get pulled over
sad rhett never had a girl, those gorgeous hair genes were spent on beings that are societally encouraged to have short hair.
Thankfully, him and his boys seem to all be growing it.. those genes will be cherished and celebrated.
he really has some nice damn hair man
ok but imagine if rhett had a girl. either he would be a completely different person or she would be a very strange person😂
He will have to wait for it to skip a generation-or just use apps to see :)
This comment is a poo
Link and this beard. Gorgeous.
Sooo gorgeous!!!!! ❤
Have we ruled out that Rhetts kids are just him in different stages from the past brought to the future and they’re the ones influencing his looks? When young Rhett changes, old Rhett changes.
The multiverse depicted in our own universe
''if that's not Rhett, i don't know what were gonna do''
Who told your boys to pose in such cool ways lol and the framing of the photo on its own is great too
Positive examples of masculinity in 2021 these men are so sweet
Who else came from the audio version to look at all the photos
Never. I can't do just audio podcasts. I wish I could. Tried for years, even with people I love like Kevin Smith. Just not my jam. But I've often wondered how many people listen to Ear Biscuits on other platforms, because I know y'all are out there.
@@dumbstupid5065 Most people who listen to audio podcasts do it while doing something else like washing the dishes for me 😁
Yes.
I don't usually but I couldn't wait and just had to listen to it last week. But now I'm not focused enough to re-listen to something I've already heard even at my usual 2x speed. I'm too interested in other things currently.
Anyone have timestamps?

Rarely watch GMM anymore but this right here... I’m always here
You guys should take all of your GMM seasons and put them on the Blu-ray, I would buy every season👏🏼👏🏼
Never gonna happen but I would buy it
Great idea! I'd definitely buy it!
Omg i agree thatd be great
They wouldent do that bcuz no one watches blu ray anymore 😂😂
Same
The past couple weeks I have developed such an intense yearning for adventure and the outdoors, watching all sorts of nature documentaries and such. This helped feed that a little bit but damn, I hope I get to a couple national parks this summer.
Sounds like a amazing camping trip and adventure. Also really appreciate that you included the photos of landscape and your children ( please extend a thank you all four of your boys as well)
I had a very similar experience with driving in Death Valley. The first time my dad let me drive a car was in Monument Valley on a dirt track and we also came onto another car and my dad starting screaming things that were just not helpful at all ahah
I always loved those moments growing up. The "harrowing" adventures in camping where you can wake up every morning surrounded by fog, and you can just feel the morning air around you and it fills you with so much joy. Every breath feels like it could last for eternity and it is just beautiful.
Refreshing to hear your kids enjoyed being outside in the fresh air and making memories. Memories are what makes a full and rich life!
I have 3 little boys (12,8 & 5 yrs old) and I am so inspired by your stories! I want my boys to have those type of adventures and memories from their childhood! Thank you both so much for sharing💜
Rhett: Is 6'7"
Also Rhett: Is afraid of heights.
Ear Biscuits has been my escape for the past few months! I’m a registered nurse and I always listen on my lunch break. Just a few moments of entertainment to forget about the stress of work. Thank you both sincerely for always putting a smile on my face!
I love Lincoln’s “if that’s not Rhett, we’re screwed” 😂😂
Really love how integrated the pictures and video from the trip were to the podcast. Adds a whole other layer like a silent vlog happening throughout the podcast. I found myself a lot more engaged with the video because of all the bonus footage!
You guys should consider semi-merging any vlog ideas you have with Ear Biscuits! That way fans can get their R&L vlog fix and it makes interesting stories for the podcast 😊
It really feels warm having to know that you have a bestfried that grew up with you and became an extension of your family ❤️ I wish I could have something like this
All I kept thinking was, call the phone so it lights up!
Ikr
They probably didn't have any service.
The return of R&L vlogs and Ear Biscuits the same weekend. Much excite. Love you guys and the whole Mythical crew. Keep on doing what you're doing. You're bringing light to the world during a dark, and frankly, shitty time. It is very much appreciated.
Borat, is that you?

my granny n dad always scared me when i was younger and I've grown up to be a scarer as well lmao i loved hearing that story and i laughed sooo hard. I needed this this week, my pop pop passed away n this put a smile on my face❤
Rest In Peace to your Pop Pop, he’s going to be with you forever. Great story about the passing down of being a scarer too haha
@@joeyscerbo7776 thank u so much!! and scaring ppl is one of my favorite things to do nd I take pride in doing it well lol
As a native Californian, rhett and link have made me realize how much of the state i have not seen.
Love the story, it made me think of when my parents used to take us camping when we were kids. That’s pretty much what our vacations consisted of was camping although no one had any vehicles to sleep into. We had a canvas cabin tent, the kind you can’t touch the walls or it breaks the waterproof barrier. I can remember a raccoon breaking into a cooler and taking and scattering food all over. It was a hard learned lesson that all your food must be kept in a locked vehicle. But I can remember some great times and looking back now it was some of the best times of my family. Thanks for sharing it was great hearing some of the things we all can relate to as parents, especially the car things with teaching your children how to drive. You don’t mean to yell but your pure concern for safety just comes out that way. I was such a nervous wreck teaching my son how to drive he didn’t want me to be the one to show him and I was glad to let my wife do it just because whatever made him more comfortable behind the wheel is what was important. Even though I was the most experienced better driver I was happy to let my wife take over. Thanks so much for sharing your family memories. One thing I know is it’s incredibly important to create those family memories because you can’t go back and do it again and those memories last a lifetime and your children remember and then want to tell those stories to their families and create their own. For me we went camping a handful of times for us and my family we did so much from Disney to camping and everything you can think of, we visited every aquarium and zoo on the east coast and I wouldn’t change it for the world. My son will always remember those special times and I’m sure if he has his own family will do the same. Thanks and hope you all had a great holiday season and we all have a great new year. Take care and look forward to seeing the next video.,
Man I hate those tents. Why they gotta be that way? Also yeah, "X person tents" are never big enough for their proclaimed amount of people. Even as small people (i.e. older children, teens) they were never enough, ESPECIALLY when you can't touch the freaking sides of the tents!
Guys, your boys do not know how blessed they are to have dads like you that do life together. What a rarity in this day and age I am afraid to say. My hope is they will continue the trend for generations to come! God bless you guys! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I want to see Rhett in-person just once for the sole purpose of experiencing his size.
Hope we get a vlog outta this.
During the whole Shepard phone story all I could think of was, "Did y'all not try to call it and see if it rang?" LOL
LOL same! 🤣
Maybe spotty reception?
There's almost NO reception in a large portion of the park and surrounding areas. You only really get a signal at the 2 main centers with hotels/gas stations and the park is huge!
Your brother isn't a serial killer, as far as you know. That's the thing about serial killers. The people closest to them are often the least likely to suspect anything.
This brought back memories of driving my dad’s old dodge pick up on our way to the Christmas tree lot and getting screamed at for taking a turn too slowly and being half in tears as we picked out our tree like 15 years ago. Ah, memories 😂
"A lifetime of hunching" upcoming memoires book by Rhett.
The pic looks like an album cover when is it being released
The trunk is called the boot in England.
Rhett, I have lots of Kayaker friends who have built drawers for the back of their SUV’s and beds of trucks. It’s a very sensible way to store camping gear if you spend a lot of time outdoors. Worth the time or money.
It was great to see updated photos of your kids! I feel like a proud auntie lol
Glad to hear you guys had fun! It’s pretty cool how close your families are and these shared experiences are priceless. Also.. sorry about the van lol
I love Link with a beard 😍
I'm happy to hear I wasn't the only one that got yelled at by their dad during a driving lesson! He was trying to teach me to drive a stick (manual transmission), I had it in second gear trying to give it gas at a stop sign and the car was about to stall out then he yelled to hit the break and I started hitting the gas pedal thinking it was the break and it started violently jerking us back and forth as he yelled louder and louder until I finally figured it out... pretty sure he had a bump on his head from hitting the windshield a few times :/
I did learn how to drive it though, thanks dad I love you! :D
😂😂
Rhett and Link: say "canyon"
My older millennial brain: "And there's one more day up in the canyon..."🎧🎶
And one more night in Hollywood
It's been so long since I've seen the ocean I guess I should
Na na na na, na na na na na na na na na.
My friends got married at the exact spot in the last picture of you all. He's a fan of the show, I hope he sees this. Hi Jeff 👋
They’re right… it’s 2022 and I’m listening 👂
I'm only 5 minutes in, an the amount of times both of them are saying the word "drawer", it's starting to sound weird.
I had the same thought! They say any word will sound weird if you repeat it enough times. And it did! LOL
That was a greay story. Reminds me of my dad taking me and my 4 other friends to a cemetery as kids and he pretended the van got stuck. Got out walked around the back and then faked his murder with the driver door open . We were TERRIFIED
Oh, my heart... Rhett and Link are such good dads 😊
This podcast specifically was so relatable. My parents would take my sister and I to death valley almost every year around Christmas time/Thanksgiving.
Brought back some amazing memories.
they should release a vlog of their trip just sayin
Best Ear Biscuits I've heard so far. Brings up so many memories. Thanks, Guys!
32:45 i was a little bit disappoint that Rhett didn't say '' My Mum had him tested '' like Sheldon does in TBBT . Hahah
could you guys do an ear biscuit where you talk about life discomfort (change, doing things you don’t wanna do etc), and how to be okay with it? would appreciate your advice!
Link, you look ravishing with a beard ! I wish we were blessed more often with bearded Link and long-haired Rhett with his hair flowing ! That'd be ear biscuit AND eye candies (which should be the title of this channel hehe)
That is a good photo, looks like modern Kpop meets Hanson.
Listened to this when it came out and now rewatching on youtube just for the photos :))
Hearing this first driving experience story makes me feel MUCH better about my first time driving
“he’s getting younger every mistake! “cracked me up
Bout 20 years ago I drove through Death Valley on the way from LA to Tahoe. We stopped at a desert store and bought a bag of nuts. It was hawt as bawls out there and not my favorite stop, but hey I can say I was there. Lol 🌵🔥🥜🔥🌵
This is my fav ear biscuit lol idk why I just love it
I already listened to the podcast but had to come see the pictures!
Okay, that new mug is everything!
You guys really help me get out of bed this morning. Wasn't feeling it and I had that lil good mythical morning music intro in my head and I got me out of bed :)
Links little “mha” at 40:47 😂
Both Rhett and Links kids are so grown up! Such pretty families. It was nice to see updated pics and hear the story! This made me really want to have my own little family to share experiences like this with but that's in the far future lol
Link saying that it could be years from 2021 when someone watches this and I’m sitting here in 2023 like, “yup, he’s right”
The part behind the back seats is the "back back".
We called that the way back.
Ear Biscuits is my travel companion during commute
I’ll never stop listening to this I love it
I love hearing y’all’s adventure stories.
"good uncle vibes"
Ya’ll trying to form a new “ Hansen” band or something?
Edit: don’t babies and kids sleep due to stress? Maybe that’s how he was able to sleep with his body shutting down out of nervousness
Lol! It’s possible! But when you’re out in nature doing more physical activity than you’re used to (when you’re camping even every day things are an effort), you just seem to get sooo exhausted! More than usual.
Do you mean “Hanson” the band? Because “Hansen” is definitely something else lol.
Let’s work together in 2021 and as Americans keep us all happy healthy and free, together we can rise above the noise and divide and beat whatever obstacles we face. Don’t give up, stay positive, and look to the future, love to all
Good luck to you guys lol. I'm just gonna chill here across the sea.
*Her er det bedre og mer fredfullt uansett.*
Oh boy, 2020 Rhett and Link are naive that 2021 is happy lol
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. It sounds like you are great dads.
I wish I did more adventures like this with my dad, I miss him.
So funny that what Rhett said about always right while teaching his son driving is exactly what my dad told me.
Listening to Rhett I feel like I am glimpsing my future with my son as we are also very similar and I could see us yelling at each other as I teach him to drive.
Please start taking more trips together I love these story time ear biscuits!! Excited for next weeks!!
Shout out to Link for introducing the boys to Steely Dan
Watching all of these podcasts is the only thing getting me through starting grad school last week 😅
The thumbnail looks like a new boy group.
This was a great podcast! Enjoyed every second of it!
If Rhett is afraid of heights, does that mean he's scared of himself? 🤔
Yo- your kids can be in a band ngl. They have the aesthetic
