I feel the exact same way, being a healthcare student is one of the most difficult things right now and GMM and ear biscuits is my chill out time each day
two teenage boys going off in the dark to "explore" sounds like when your burnout uncle wants to take a walk before thanksgiving dinner. A great excuse to smoke some weed.
I've never been this excited for someone to tell a story about their vacation.... You guys have been such a shining light of positivity in my life especially in these last couple months of darkness and depressiveness.
💯 TRUE! I feel the exact same way! I hope they realize how much of an impact they have in people's lives. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and Rhett and Link have helped me calm myself & pull myself out of those dark places. Love them like family and I've never even met them in person 😆
I love link calling his son a sensitive soul. I was always called a cry baby but I think those intelligent emotions are so important and important to acknowledge in your children
@@isabelxy3197 I think it was just a vacation beard. This was filmed during the break between seasons, if not slightly before. He's shaved again on the new GMM season (sadly).
@@hungtheheroluu Exactly. After last season, before this season, not exactly sure when. But thanks for the reminder, I knew it was there for some other episodes but it wasn't clicking.
Sounds like a amazing camping trip and adventure. Also really appreciate that you included the photos of landscape and your children ( please extend a thank you all four of your boys as well)
Ear Biscuits has been my escape for the past few months! I’m a registered nurse and I always listen on my lunch break. Just a few moments of entertainment to forget about the stress of work. Thank you both sincerely for always putting a smile on my face!
I have 3 little boys (12,8 & 5 yrs old) and I am so inspired by your stories! I want my boys to have those type of adventures and memories from their childhood! Thank you both so much for sharing💜
The past couple weeks I have developed such an intense yearning for adventure and the outdoors, watching all sorts of nature documentaries and such. This helped feed that a little bit but damn, I hope I get to a couple national parks this summer.
Have we ruled out that Rhetts kids are just him in different stages from the past brought to the future and they’re the ones influencing his looks? When young Rhett changes, old Rhett changes.
Love the story, it made me think of when my parents used to take us camping when we were kids. That’s pretty much what our vacations consisted of was camping although no one had any vehicles to sleep into. We had a canvas cabin tent, the kind you can’t touch the walls or it breaks the waterproof barrier. I can remember a raccoon breaking into a cooler and taking and scattering food all over. It was a hard learned lesson that all your food must be kept in a locked vehicle. But I can remember some great times and looking back now it was some of the best times of my family. Thanks for sharing it was great hearing some of the things we all can relate to as parents, especially the car things with teaching your children how to drive. You don’t mean to yell but your pure concern for safety just comes out that way. I was such a nervous wreck teaching my son how to drive he didn’t want me to be the one to show him and I was glad to let my wife do it just because whatever made him more comfortable behind the wheel is what was important. Even though I was the most experienced better driver I was happy to let my wife take over. Thanks so much for sharing your family memories. One thing I know is it’s incredibly important to create those family memories because you can’t go back and do it again and those memories last a lifetime and your children remember and then want to tell those stories to their families and create their own. For me we went camping a handful of times for us and my family we did so much from Disney to camping and everything you can think of, we visited every aquarium and zoo on the east coast and I wouldn’t change it for the world. My son will always remember those special times and I’m sure if he has his own family will do the same. Thanks and hope you all had a great holiday season and we all have a great new year. Take care and look forward to seeing the next video.,
Man I hate those tents. Why they gotta be that way? Also yeah, "X person tents" are never big enough for their proclaimed amount of people. Even as small people (i.e. older children, teens) they were never enough, ESPECIALLY when you can't touch the freaking sides of the tents!
Really love how integrated the pictures and video from the trip were to the podcast. Adds a whole other layer like a silent vlog happening throughout the podcast. I found myself a lot more engaged with the video because of all the bonus footage! You guys should consider semi-merging any vlog ideas you have with Ear Biscuits! That way fans can get their R&L vlog fix and it makes interesting stories for the podcast 😊

Guys, your boys do not know how blessed they are to have dads like you that do life together. What a rarity in this day and age I am afraid to say. My hope is they will continue the trend for generations to come! God bless you guys! Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I always loved those moments growing up. The "harrowing" adventures in camping where you can wake up every morning surrounded by fog, and you can just feel the morning air around you and it fills you with so much joy. Every breath feels like it could last for eternity and it is just beautiful.
