Fantastic step-by-step tutorial on drawing a face! 🖊😊 The clear instructions and demonstrations make it so easy to follow along. I really appreciate the tips on capturing facial features and proportions. Thanks for making this process so approachable and helpful for learners!
I love when you draw from a reference photo because that's what I use for all of my drawings....Also, my favorite sketchbook is "U Create", the spiral-bound black sketchbooks that are sold at Walmart (in the stationary/school supplies aisle). It's the only one that really works for me 😅
Ma'am your drawing is awesome ❤ at first while watching your video it looks like ahh a drawing lesson ☺️ but after the sketch is done, it seems magical 😍💕
Great video. my respect to you. I admire people who are involved in fine arts. Especially with Graphics. good luck with the channel and greetings from Bulgaria. 👍
Wowwww ❤❤❤❤❤❤ it looks ultra realistic, pure talent 😊 simply amazing. Okay time to try it, and I'll ask you if I wanted to correct something in my drawing (I wish I could post my artwork here)
Hello. Great work! Love it. I had a question as a beginner: I thought the guidelines might have some perspective with a vanishing point to be ok with the perspective. It seems to be parallel in your tutorial. Am I wrong?
Thank you. Yes, you can also imagine a cube around the head and the guidelines will follow the same angle as the cube. Because the vanishing point is very far the lines are almost parallel. I draw the guidelines on the reference parallel because then it’s easier to draw them for the sketch. You can analyze each reference photo by drawing guidelines and checking the angles
ma'am really its amazing talent you have. I m start to drawing something. I have little skill. I'm practice this days drawing a eyes nose and mouth. Its success. I m trying to drawing a one person's photo who i most care. and his all photo is having a my phone.so i don't know how i draw it. i m so happy to see this drawing. Really its wow.👍
Rough sketch with 4h, then usually a 2h or hb to start shading. I use stumps and brushes to smooth the blending but within minutes it’s blotchy. I try to clean brushes but not so much the stump
😘😘😘😘😘 as always... thank you... i never get tired of watching you draw... when i thought i heard it all... new techniques i learn every time i watch your tutorials... you are definitely my art angel 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
I had a male figure / portrait teacher once tell me that women are far better at drawing women and men drawing men. He said women have a tendency to draw men feminine and men draw women masculine. He was right on my account all my men did seem to look feminine so there was probably some truth to that. This teacher did fashion illustrations as a profession for newspapers back in the day and his women figures definitely had a masculine edge. I am a woman and I prefer drawing women. Children are very difficult not to make them look old. They have larger eyes in comparison to adults. I think Emmy is an amazing artist and I really appreciate her talent and her videos.

My drawings are always so smudged and blotchy. Any tips on how to keep them light and smooth? I start light but they always get so dark so quickly
Which pencils do you use? Or maybe you smudge with a dirty blending stump?
