I just made a video of this stuff on my wheels and even with one coat I had amazing results also! It was $14.99 at my local Farm and Fleet.
This looks much better than the meguiars ceramic spray wax after 2 months nothing left . This mothers really good I have to see if I can get some in the uk 👍
I hope there are dealers that can get you some!
Really enjoy your channel. Did you apply four coats of the 303 and Meguiars also?
Meguiars had 2 coats to start out with and so did 303. Neither really said anything about stacking but I did for some fun factor testing.
Definitely need to buy some I'm taking my meguiars ceramic wax back to menards going to autozone to get the mothers cmx
Can you apply a spray on wax once the ceramic coat is cured?
Victor Alvarado yes allow 24hrs between coats
Curious why you think the Meg's isn't as good. I applied it the way Apex Detail suggested (small damp pad applicator with 1 squirt) and has been great for 2 months. I saw you apply it on the van and that's a lot of product sprayed on the hood it seems like. Maybe reapply it differently and see if the results are different. Either way, great vid. Might give the CMX a shot when it's on sale.
Meguiar's only lasted about 1 month both times I have used it. Pathetic as most waxes last far longer. Within one month of both applications it had all faded.
I havent had a good result with Meguiars either. Wonder if they have some spotty batches or what with people on both ends of the spectrum.
THANKS GREAT VIDEO
Glad you enjoyed!
I did 2 coats on my suv and it’s holding up pretty well a month later however I did 1 coat on my moms accord and it’s weakened pretty significantly, I put Meguiars hybrid Ceramic wax over it because i had some laying around and applying that is faster than applying cmx and a week later the meguiars is barely beading and went flat in a couple spots. Thinking about going back to traditional waxes 🙄
The problem is you waxed over it...
Dude it lasted 3 months on my car I stripped it to apply turtle wax seal n shine, is up there smells bad but it works fucking great and it’s like 7 bucks at Walmart, I like mothers but honestly turtle wax killed it with this one give it a try
:) I already have buddy:) It's in a video from a few weeks back.
Question - can you say - no water spot ? What about pollen yellow build up?? - I am ready tired of all these claim that each product is the best but each leave water spot or so much pollen.....
try gyeon wetcoat..
It cant be used as a topper over lets say fusso coat right?
Fusso Coat is more hydrophobic and durable than CMX, why would you.
What do you think, really, about CMX? I would buy and apply on my car (metallic silver) to replace Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax, after polishing.
CMX guarantee shine and gloss or not and protect paint, similar at ceramic coating process? And if I give more layer for guarantee of duration, change positively color and shine?
I can observ somebody have more problems about "white crystal" during laying; is it better spraying on microfiber towel and apply by it? Thanks
so far it has lasted in this 90 degree Florida heat and hasn't skipped a beat, no failure. It's easier to apply than any waxes I've used and if it can last up to 6 months it's even better than the average wax. It will be more of a glassy shine than a wax, more like a true ceramic. The crystals are just a bi product of the formula and won't hurt anything.
@@Acc0rd79 Thanks for everything
I sprayed it directly on an applicator sponge and then spread it. It prevents the crystal beads you get from spraying it directly on your car, plus you waste less (IMO).
*wat do u think of gold wheels on blue cars*
RICE
tuff my friend if done tastefully
The Real Cody Bersick looks good, look at Subaru’s
Nice shirt. Must've been hard to find.
nah, picked it up on my last cruise in March.
I think he said that ‘cause it looks like cock and balls. Why tf else would they make that comment but I had to pause the video to see your shirt and from a far it kinda resembles that shit. All right all the dick jokes aside I was looking for some reviews over this product and you did just that. I can’t thank you enough for taking your time to show us that this stuff really works. I have a truck to cover and for the price I just can’t see a better option. I’m glad it worked for you, and I hope that it’s going to work for me. Many thanks and keep rocking that shirt. Oh I used to live in Fort Myers, moved to NH and then on to CO and now in high dessert state of UT. Had enough of that humidity from down south, and well I grew up skiing in WA when I was a kid and FL just doesn’t have enough snow. Take care and thanks for the Vid.
So cheap in the U.S. Stuff is like $60 in Australia.
sorry buddy:( You guys get hammered on shipping I guess.
@@Acc0rd79 Shipping and currency conversion with just a touch of price gouging I think.
Can it be applied over pre existing paste wax ?
I think so but please don't quote me as I just added this to the paint, no wax under.
You’ll get better results using it as a base product. Not over an existing sealant or wax.
How does hydrosilex compare to this?
I haven't tried it so I can't give it a fair rating.
I tried Hydro Silex. Doesn't last more than a month.
I have carpro ceramic coated car. Can I add this on top?
Yes I think it's safe but please, read the instructions first. This is sort of like Carpro Reload which is a great topper!
Thanks for the reply!! Now that your attention is on me. Try out Nicks Professional All purpose cleaner. On their Insta they make it seem like it’s liquid gold
would love to see him do chemical guys hydrocharge ceramic spray
maybe in the future but I would put my money on Mothers for longevity.
@@Acc0rd79 Can this be sprayed on windows also?
Acc0rd79 Why? CMX doesnt crystallize when left exposed to air, indicating it has minimal silica content. CG's HydroCharge will crystallize within several hours. When asking CG about the silica content, they stated its between 45% & 55%. Thats extremely impressive for a spray coating. Even Adam's "9H" Ceramic Spray Coating falls short of that. I would be willing to bet that CG will outlast CMX by quite a bit.
@@ryanbrown918 I was thinking the same. thats why I'm interested in him doing especially cause I know he's not gonna give a biased review
U should try the TW seal n shine. $7 Walmart 🙌🏼
Search my videos:)
Second
You don’t want to spray directly on your hood scoop the water will leak into your spark plugs eventually
so what do I do when it's pouring rain here and I am driving, tell the rain to not go into the hood scoop? LOL
Lol... you’ll know what I’m talking about when or if you change your plugs👍🏽
I think Honda is smart enough to design it, it channels it away from the center of the engine if you see it under the hood:) It doesn't dump onto the engine at all.
I thought you ceramic coated this car?
only the bumpers, mirrors, and roof. The rest was left with just CMX for testing purposes.
Shit just use turtle wax shit works they same as the high end ones trust me they just want yo money
well shit.
Yeap shit
