As a 17’ XSE V6 owner, better tires go a long way to helping put the power down. My car just has a CAI and borla catback, and Pilot sport A/S 3+’s help out so much. Also the V6 has some strong acceleration from 50 and 60 mph. Passing power on a two lane road is very nice.
Claire Kennedy there was sarcasm in his Prius comment. Anyway, i agree with you it's much better than boring Toyotas of the past... but it's still not good looking in my opinion.
Only if it could be tuned to get rid of the annoying cut in acceleration in 2nd/3rd; Overall people buy Camrys because they put ya to sleep behind the wheel and it's the "safe" choice for someone that wants something reliable/comfortable to go to their stressed out job/daily routine.

I saw one of these on the road once and I thought I was looking at a Lexus GS until I really took a close look at the car. It's amazing how far they've taken the styling on this new Camry. Loving it.
Great review. Honest and straight forward. This is such a different car than the Accord and engineered for a different client. This is about comfort and ride quality. I also like the set up of the center stack with actual buttons. Great job.
Such a pleasing 30 second introduction to a car review. Your complimentary audio and visual production work is just far superior to all the other RUclipsrs, as all your videos are. Your videos are the favorite part of my post workday routine when I get home. Great job savagegeese
I bought a 2020 XSE earlier this year, but with 4 cylinders. I agree with the comfort comments. It is very comfortable to drive, the seats are great. Toyota also broke down and provided Android Auto. :) Overall, very happy.
I am by no means a car expert, but I'm glad I watched your explanation of the governed power of the v6 camry. I drove both the i4 and v6 and couldn't figure out why I was disappointed with the v6 power other than that it just didn't feel like I thought 301hp would feel. I ended up going with the 4 banger because I just couldn't justify tge $5k jump between them.
I bought one of these a few months ago and it's fantastic. The interior is beautiful, and for a luxury executive car it's very refined and surprisingly fast.
You're so right!! I dont care what anyone says toyota is the best!! It's usually Honda people that hate on Toyota. I'm so glad Mazda and Toyota are partners now.
ivan72087 I’v been a Honda fan for 18 years and I love Toyota, most people who don’t like Toyota are people who think you need a expensive or Luxury car to have a “good car”
@@SuperShafa123 honestly I have just as much respect for honda as I do for Toyota..... no one can match their reliability and engine quality, I just know there is a big rivalry between the 2. But if I had to choose one of those brands it would be Toyota. But yes some people think they are above Toyota and buy Mercedes and bmw's and go broke trying to keep up the maintenance cost you'll be lucky if they make it 75,000 miles without any issues where Toyota can go 300,000+ without any major issues.
ivan72087 I’ve owned a 1996 tacoma since I picked it up new from dealership as my daily and she’s on 436,000 km still goin strong. I got no argument against that.
In my humble opinion, you are by far one of best auto reviewers on RUclips. Your videos very informative and so entertaining to watch. You deserve A LOT more subscribers!!!
As someone who drove a 2010 3.5 it had mad torque steer but if you could keep it on the road it would out accelerate most anything else that wasn't a dedicated sports car
I somehow lost your channel and couldn’t find your RUclips account. Glad I found ya. I respect your opinions on the Toyota Camry. I didn’t get the V-6 but I am enjoying my 4 cylinder. It does struggle at times for getting it to power. But everything else it does amazing. I give Toyota a lot of credit for coming such a long way. I owned the previous generation. Not even the same car. This Camry like you said, is by far the best one as of now, Toyota has made.
The only possible reason for Turbowski's continued absence: While gently driving his purple PT Cruiser through the Alaskan wilderness, a male moose attempts to mate with the car, mistaking it for a deformed female of the same species. Turbowski is unceremoniously crushed in the ensuing fracas/amorous activity, thus meeting his inevitable, yet easily forseen, end. It was only a matter of time.
I worked on a new xse that came into my shop a couple weeks ago. I didn't get to drive it much, but it seemed great. Has that Toyota quality of a "I can't put my finger on it" pleasant driving experience and they're seriously pretty good looking cars, especially for a commuter. Plus, it'll run forever since... Toyota. I'm with it. It ain't a Porsche turbo, but it'll get you around the world and back in comfort.
@@seraros3663 Geese is my fave, but there are a lot of good ones out there. Doug DeMuro is good at what he does. Jason Cammisa does exotics great. Alex on Autos is very practical in a Consumer Reports vein.
Great review ! Had a 92 4 banger went 348000 sold it running like a top ! Currently in a 2011 XLE V6. $38 grand is steep I can relate to the under steer with the V6 when your into the throttle. Toyota as great as they are has always been a conservative company.
I thought that, too, considering it uses a lot less than the R4. ... One could suspect they do that to enforce lower average figures in the standard test while the specced horsepower is only reached in very specific driving conditions.
My uncle has a 2007 Camry with the 3.5 v6, best vehicle I have driven, it put a smile on my face! Nothing can beat a naturally aspirated v6 engine, glad Toyota still offer it.
Very nice review. I have to interject and say that when put in sport mode, the steering stiffens up significantly and of course higher RPM shifts. But believe me when I say that it absolutely hauls ass. And turbo 4 cylinders will always beat out this car because the cars with the smaller engine are much lighter than this cruiser. I own the 2018 XSE V6 and I love it.
I had a chance to buy the 4 cylinder with a 5 spd a few years ago. I didn't get after the test drive, didn't like a few things, but now I wish I would have got it.
Industrial. or practical, has this long-lasting quality that will be user-friendly long after hey days past, and it will function for those who would use in the end days of this car.
Thanks for this outstanding review! All was informative with no punches pulled but I especially liked the part where you got the car up on a lift (which I haven't seen in other XSE videos). I'm getting the 2019 XSE with the 2.5L Four but it's good to hear pros and genuine cons on the new Camrys. It is tempting to go with the 3.5L Six but the Four's gas mileage and initial cost are important to me while the power is more than adequate for my purposes. Again, this was a special review, thanks!
Well I was going to get the XSE but went with the 2019 SE with the 2.5L Four. Just couldn't justify an extra $4000 when the SE has all I need plus its 18" wheels have a softer ride than 19" on the XSE. What a great car it's turned out to be.
I know this is a super late response but I’ll tell you if you’re still interested. I’m currently driving a 2020 Camry se 4 cyl loaned from the dealership while my scion is being repainted under a factory recall and I gotta say, it’s pretty nice for a daily driver. The power just isn’t quite there, you really can’t even break the tires loose and it’s not going to slam you into the seat. But, if you’re just looking for a fun daily driver, it’s more than enough. The updated 2020 interior is great and the entertainment system with carplay and android auto is really nice. Hope this helped!
@@carsonwarner3797 Since you're driving the SE and I'm considering getting the 2021 XSE 4-cyl when it comes out.. could you tell me what RPM speeds you're getting at different highway speeds? I found a really specific video someone posted on their V6 XSE going from 55 to 80 in 5mph increments to show what the engine is doing, and I was hoping to compare that to the 4-cyl. Basically his V6 was going 1,600RPM at 70mph and 1,800RPM at 80mph, which is pretty good considering my current car (2018 Corolla SE) does nearly 2,100RPM at 75mph. What kind of gas mileage are you getting too? I'm eager to get the Camry next month or whenever the 2021 is available, but I'm deciding between the 4-cyl and V6 and I'm trying to justify the nearly $5,000 increase for the V6.
tonymagona334 yeah man happy to help! I found that the gas mileage was pretty accurate to what it’s rated. I would get probably 29 or 30 in the city and around 40 on the highway. And as far as the rpm it’s was really amazing it was hardly over 2000 at 80mph! Total cruiser 😍 but if you want to get put back in your seat I say get the v6. The 4 is awesome, it’s enough to satisfy anyone as a daily driver, but nothing exceptional. If you want great performance and impressive gas mileage I say get that v6!
@@carsonwarner3797 Thanks for that, it really was something I was wondering! Man 40mpg on the highway sounds like a dream 😄 but better is the engine not going over 2k even at 80, that's awesome! I'll probably stick with the 4cyl for the better gas mileage and also cause the V6 would be nearly $5,000 more. That 4cyl is gonna be great when I take trips from Miami to Tampa!
This is my first review I've seen on this channel and I I follow a lot of car channels that do reviews this is by far the best goddamn review I have ever seen on a car it's real it's not just some five foot seven kid walking around a car looking at the paint and the exhaust and look at the top of the engine and sitting inside and how nice to stack is and all that shit this is a legit review from somebody who will keep a car for a decade and this is a review for people who can't afford to buy a car every 3 or 4 years can't lease and fix their own car absolutely scribing today love every minute of the bed this is real consumer info
This really kills the argument for the Lexus ES. Yeah, I know that's Lexus' best seller. But this is the first Camry V6 that has a really good exhaust note. And at $38K, it's priced just a little lower than the Lexus. Me, I will get the RAV4 with the new 2.5L motor that makes the new Camry more fuel efficient than ever before.
Brendan A. MacWade this kills the argument for ALOT of luxury sedans. Not just the ES. Also the new ES is sure it have a WAY higher quality interior and more refined driving experience then this Camry. More tech and more luxury also. The Camry won't compare period.
I'd choose the old ES over this any day. The ES is much quieter riding and premium feel to it. Slower, but who cares, neither one is the right choice if you want to be smoking it.
I'm a car guy, but I love Toyota Camry's and Corolla's. I think it's because they're so ubiquitous that there is no way you haven't experienced one. I've owned 3 Toyota products and I miss them more than my Commodore SS because of the adventures I had in them. They're like a Labrador, reliable and always there for you.
I have an XSE V6 as well and after watching this video I discovered my rear right passenger side speaker also doesn’t work. Speaking candidly, I love the car. However a few things I’ve noticed after 16k miles is my breaks squeal horrendously and after taking it to the dealership I’m advised they cannot replicate it and 48 hours after leaving the dealership they begin squealing again. Having a brand new car sound worse that a beater disgusts me. Additionally the car rattles in more than one place while driving occasionally. It certainly does not have the build quality of a Lexus however the styling and features were the selling point for me.
If I was buying a Camry... it would probably be a XLE not an XSE. I know I know, “why’d you waste your money...” XLE is the comfortable one. If I wanted a sports car I don’t think I’d buy a Camry. I understand it’s a sporty looking car now but I want something to cruise around town comfortably in. And maybe even take road trips. That’s what I would use it for. So XLE it is. Murk all the windows and cruise in style in a shiny blacked out V6 Camry.
After My previous car was totaled (Hyundai Sonata), I started the journey of finding a suitable car for my needs. Spacious, looks and drives great. Then I saw the new Toyota Camry was going to be released by the time I got my insurance money. I decided to get the V6 (SE V6). I got to say I’m not disappointed one bit. That V6 is so amazing and so smooth. The 8 speed gearbox is great. It handles so great too. I never thought that a Camry would be a pleasure to drive every time I get behind its wheel.
Just imagine if you throw some nice michelin pilot super sport tires on it, and maybe go for a bigger front swaybar to reduce corner entry understeer.... and for fun, and modest cat back exhaust
The Mazda 6 looks good, no doubt. But their turbo engines are notorious for burning oil. If you’re leasing or planning to sell within 5 years then the Mazda 6/Accord is good. If not, go naturally aspirated, Camry .
So as a "sports car guy" for the past 20 years (MX-5, SE-R, CRX, S2000) I ended up changing my focus and buying a 2017 Camry SE 4-cylinder ... retired rental car with 12,000 miles ... for $16K. My first automatic transmission (sad panda). This thing will probably outlive me. The suspension was much tighter than expected, very little body roll, and I did a back-to-back against an Accord and felt no difference, except the Camry was much cheaper. Toyota intentionally keeps it old school with the infotainment, switches and engine/transmission to avoid the reliability problems their competitors are having with the new tech to meet EPA targets. And I know if I get the itch for something sportier again that engages my right hand and left foot, I can easily sell this thing in a day on craigslist.
I can almost exactly relate to you sir. I went with Mazda, however. I still have my former daily now-turned-toy car (old AC just can't handle the increasing temps, and soft top is horrible in increasing rainfall volume lol). My new car feels like an FF version of my old car with much more needed cargo space.
Exactly, Right Land Hog! I tried going for used Accord or Acura manual, but very few examples and often in undesirable condition. Like unicorn hunting. I liked the Scion tC with manual (basically same running gear as Camry) but the one I found was overpriced at Carmax.
Gerard ... my previous car was a 2006 Mazda 6 manual with Racing Beat suspension. A low-speed accident clipped the front bumper support, bent the engine cradle frame and totaled it. I've had four Mazdas in my life but decided to try another brand ... the new Mazda 6 my knees bump the steering column, and after dealing with long-term Mazda maintenance quirks (idiotic PVC valve placement, buried suspension components) I wanted to avoid those headaches. In honesty, the 2017 Camry SE stock suspension feels eerily as firm as my Mazda 6's Racing Beat kit. I can't wait for the horrid all-season Bridgestones to wear out so I can put some decent summer rubber on there (Texas).
Amazing car, I still drive my 2005 Camry I want a new car. I'm switching to a Manuel Corolla or a Honda civic. Maybe Camry. I don't want no longer a v6.
Toyota continues to amaze me the way they care about there customers with reliability to build quality no they arent the fastest or coolest and most stylish but they do each one very well 38k is a lot but in the long run i doubt anything will hild up as well as these in 20 years
savagegeese I have a request. Can you also review the usability of the adaptive cruise control and lane steering assist? As much as I love spirited driving, most of my trips involve mundane driving. The new Corolla Hatchback has really great standard features for commuting. It would be nice to see those features reviewed from an everyday driving perspective. Thanks!
I've used these features on the 2018 Camry and I can tell you at least from my perspective the most useful is the adaptive cruise control, the lane keep assist will keep you in your lane but you cannot rely on it for a full hands off experience. it will just bounce you off either side of the lane indefinitely, it cannot keep you centered.
Just bought a 2019 one of these with the V6, love the quiet / smooth power it has, I was wondering does this V6 have a timing chain or a timing belt? Can't find this online anywhere, also they offered free 10k mile oil changes for 2 years, I believe 5K is the smarter choice, your thoughts? thanks in advance
One car you should really consider reviewing is the 2006 Camry SE V6. It isn't a sports car, but it was Toyota's attempt at building a sportier Camry, with stiffer suspension, 17" wheels, and a 3.3L DOHC V6 with 210 hp...the same V6 that went into the Sienna except the Sienna engine was rated at 240 hp. I bought this car when the re-designed 2007's came out, and was able to get it out the door around $26K. It is fast (I have been able to time it 0-60 in 5.6 seconds), fun (as fun as a Camry can be) but best of all, after 12 years and 140K later, other than a minor power steering leak I had to have repaired a couple of months back, it has never had one mechanical issue. Over the years I have abused it, driven it back and forth between the Northern Cal Bay area and Southern Cal, tracked it in the Mojave desert, and used it as my day to day driver. Besides the 2018 Camry, in my opinion it is one of the best and most overlooked V6 Camry
I can't wait to see you do the new Genesis G70. You are the best car channel on youtube. I don't know why more people don't throw the cars on the lift. I really appreciate it. Thank you!!
I just bought the model SE, watch out for the transmission, it's slow to the extreme that it becomes dangerous, look first at the car complaints, it's already late for me
The infotainment is made by Fujitsu Ten. It looks like a slightly updated version of what my 2015 Subaru Outback had which they totally stole from the Toyota parts bin. It was barely ok in 2015 and looks completely outclassed in 2018. They just need to put android auto and carplay in and call it a day.
Do you ever see the Accord bringing the V6 back? I loved my old 2000 Accord v6 and i was in the market for a new one but now they've gone to Turbo 4 crap and I'm not sure about long term reliability what is your take on this? I'm a Pilot and for instance any naturally aspirated engine has an overhaul time of around 2500 hours when on the flip side a force induction airplane engine has an overhaul time of about 1800 hours, so there is no way that car engines can last as long with forced induction or can they?? More pressure = more wear.
@@trp2413 Honda had as much as 120 hp/liter in the late 90's that have proven to be reliable and long lasting (S2000). I'd be more worried about the turbo itself. And Honda's CVT fluid actually costs around $10/quart and needs to be serviced every 60,000 miles. Though I also still don't like CVTs.
The base car has by far the best value. You can drive the base Camry for 8 years put 150,000 miles on it and sell it for half what you paid for it in an weekend.
Ro0ster actually the SE and XLE hybrid both have an inferior battery compared to the LE which uses Lithium battery but sadly the LE doesn't get all Bells and whistles
Haters mean nothing, this car is great in everything. I don't care if it's a stereotypical mom's car, it's a reliable, great selling car just like he said in the video.
I don't know what camera and what lighting trickery you have going on but in the Final Thoughts segment you somehow figure out a way to stand in front of a television without looking washed out and not freaking out the camera with the brightness of the TV. How do you even achieve this and how long did it take to get it just right? The sheer amount of quality that your videos have for even small things people don't really notice is ridiculously good.
i'm a little surprised you didn't bash this thing for the cheesy plastic fake vents in the front and back bumpers. I knew you'd hate the piano black all over the inside.. Great review as always, you're still my favorite on youtube. BTW i bought the 18 Accord sport 2.0t last week over this car, curious your thoughts on it.. and i already know you'll hate the 10 speed auto, but try it in a manual! you'll be impressed way over this thing
Supra2k8 it's a great transmission actually! He had just talked about liking the manual gear lever and how he disliked the "by wire", so i thought he'd probably dislike the push button option.. There's nothing wrong with it though, it shifts smooth and quick. i love my car
Everytime I tune in and watch I get another well balanced and real world review. Well done.... really enjoyed it and I am not a Camry demographic buyer... PS> Luv the under the hood and up on the hoist technical components, it really stands you apart, people can learn a lot or just be reassured about what they are trying to buy.
This is a great car to purchase and start saving money for your dream car in your late 20s or 30s or whenever, because it will last you 10-20 years without any major issues. Also, Camry has good resale values because it’s reliable, so you can get $5,000-10,000 back in 5 or 6 years.
I almost bought one of these a few months ago, but due to the size of it, it just wasn't easy enough to park in San Francisco. It is very good car though. So quiet, comfortable, stereo sounds very good, and the V6 is actually pretty damn fast (for what the car is). Plus, the all black SXE trim looks kinda badass. I also drove the 4 banger version and driving it felt like trash by comparison.
after watching review by you, i am going to switch from LS430 2006 to Camry v6 2021... i will miss my Lexus anyway and i wish if i could watch your review for LS430.. you are the best car reviewer ever....
Having owned a wrx, I learned that if you don't get the launch perfect, you're then in a position where you better have enough power and a long enough "race" to make up the difference. This is where the horrible gearing was a blessing/curse in the 06-07 wrx that had a taller final drive, so once you hit 2nd and 3rd gear, you would win basically every single race if you were on something like a blouch 20g with around 344hp/348tq to the wheels, only because it wasn't a "ton" of power, but the longer gearing with the larger turbo allowed for a more sustained acceleration at that point. The Sti is clearly better, but I imagine you either have wheel spin in 1st or you bog in 1st. I could NEVER get a 1st gear launch in my wrx down perfectly regardless of which rpm/clutch/flywheel combination I tried. The final drive ratio simply ruined 1st gear in that car (plus I chose the wrong turbo for that type of driving). I now own a 370z with a 7 speed auto. I don't miss buying a new clutch/throw out bearing once every 12-24 months as the stock wrx 5 speed is a horrible design! The 7 speed has gears 1-2-3 closely together, almost GTR like, that with the tq converter makes launches unbelievably easy, so as long as you have either new tires or warmed up tires, it does wonderful and you basically have an instant half to full car length on anyone doing a conventional launch, unless they get it PERFECT, which most people just don't have enough experience to do so consistently. Where the Z falls flat is the difference between the ratio of 3rd and 4th gear. 4th is too tall, but by that point you're already well over the 65mph limit so it's not a huge deal. My wrx was clearly faster beyond around 70mph compared to my Z, but would lose every single time because of my inability to get it to launch perfectly no matter what I tried. So then it's comes down to the cost: Putting thousands into a wrx and losing to a stock 370z is kind of a bummer. Then you have on top of that the dynamics of being pulled over constantly or continued bothers of other drivers trying to race you all the time. For day to day, the Z is just better in every way: Less road noise, optional full auto mode for the annoying stop/go traffic, no clutch replacements!!!. The only thing the Z lacks is bottom end TQ, but it tries to make up for it in gearing, which for $1500 can be improved even more with a shorter final drive via a newer rear differential (next mod!). The other issue is that it very dependent upon tires: old tires/worn out tires = wheel spin and then traction control intervention leading to complete fuel cut, OR you can just have wheel spin if you turn it off. Sadly they gave it too much camber in the rear from the factory but the tradeoff is made up in handling. My take is that the wrx/sti really is meant for and accels best on uneven pavement/loose rock/gravel/sideways risk taking applications, whereas most anything else with an auto and some decent tq is going to make an sti look bad if not for the best well prepared launch!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks 38,000 is still a lot of money!

It was only a matter of time.

lmao - that was beautiful. RIP Turbowski!

beautiful car, i feel the 4cyl is better suited for most people, I think that's why you can get it across all trims.
I'm really digging the new design on these new Toyota, as a young man, I feel like I can own one now
Acura TL in your profile pic?
I worked on a new xse that came into my shop a couple weeks ago. I didn't get to drive it much, but it seemed great. Has that Toyota quality of a "I can't put my finger on it" pleasant driving experience and they're seriously pretty good looking cars, especially for a commuter. Plus, it'll run forever since... Toyota. I'm with it. It ain't a Porsche turbo, but it'll get you around the world and back in comfort.
Awesome... straight pipes for their passion and savage geese for the honest reviews! My 2 favourite channels :) Thank you!
What about throttle house?
@@seraros3663 Geese is my fave, but there are a lot of good ones out there. Doug DeMuro is good at what he does. Jason Cammisa does exotics great. Alex on Autos is very practical in a Consumer Reports vein.

When Toyota heard "quality issue" in regards to the failing speaker, many committed harikiri
Is that really true or a joke? Just wondering.
Surely not a UK-built Camry. ... They would ensure there are no incidents with the speaker's corner.
Great review ! Had a 92 4 banger went 348000 sold it running like a top ! Currently in a 2011 XLE V6. $38 grand is steep I can relate to the under steer with the V6 when your into the throttle. Toyota as great as they are has always been a conservative company.
Do you think it's best to wait a couple years and buy used?
@@markaguirre1087 I'm waiting until 2023 to buy a 2018
Tired of Scott not showing up for the shoppe segment, less mustang meets and moar savagegeese!
I bought the 4 Cylinder and I love it. Responsive and does the job. I'm not sure you really need the V6 unless yout want more power.
They probably are aiming for better fuel economy with the weird ecu programming on the v6
After this video. I traded in my i4 for the video fully loaded video. Hearing the growl of the v6 vs the buzzy 4 banger was night and day
I will do the same soon Bro
New design is beautiful. Will be curious to see your thoughts on the 2.0t Accord vs this.

You can get a Honda Accord Sport 2.0t (the Accord's "V6") for 30K out the door. Even the 2.0t Accord Touring isn't this much.
I'm not in Canada.
Industrial. or practical, has this long-lasting quality that will be user-friendly long after hey days past, and it will function for those who would use in the end days of this car.
What a great car it's turned out to be.
that red color making me feel some type of way😩👅
about to scoop one up today or tmrw
I dig it, there’s a reason why lotus tunes Toyota’s V6 for their use
Tj Tucker it's a good engine tbh.
Its a Great Transmission also, if you use Sports Mode and Paddle Shifters, this crap about them boging down, its because they are driving in ECO Mode.
What a competitive class. Really no bad choices, though limited excitement. And if you don’t want fwd, choices narrow a lot.
Please review the Camry 4 cylinder.
Brendan A. MacWade but the Lexus IS rwd which I prefer than fwd. I wish the Camry was rwd
I get the feeling of watching a new movie I’ve been waiting for everytime you post! I love these reviews

If I was buying a Camry... it would probably be a XLE not an XSE.
I know I know, “why’d you waste your money...”
XLE is the comfortable one.
It was love at 1st sight!😍😍😍
At this production quality, you deserve like 3 million subs

Excellent review and video work. Lots of information even on a Camry.
It's crazy the Camry and RAV4 sit on an identical platform.

And I know if I get the itch for something sportier again that engages my right hand and left foot, I can easily sell this thing in a day on craigslist.
zbillster, I agree with your logic but why can't TMC offer a Camry with a manual?
I can't wait for the horrid all-season Bridgestones to wear out so I can put some decent summer rubber on there (Texas).
zb, Finding the right used car takes time and patience. At least your Camry will hold its value should the 'perfect' car ever come along.
I love all the comments "I'd buy this if it wasn't a Toyota"...why does the name matter?
Only SavageGeese can make a Camry review this interesting.
Good review. Comfort and simplicity is what they aim for in a Camry. Same reason I bought a lower trim level Ridgeline.
Amazing car, I still drive my 2005 Camry I want a new car. I'm switching to a Manuel Corolla or a Honda civic. Maybe Camry. I don't want no longer a v6.

Charles Hu you can get an accord 2.0 turbo with a 6 speed manual and adaptive dampers.
Fadi not a turbo fan.rather have a NA V6
Charles Hu rather have a Manual than a V6 to be honest.
Charles Hu even if they accord was V6 would still take the Camry it just looks better then the accord in XSE
ER B for that price I would go for a Civic SI or type R for the manual. Buying the V6 accord with a manual is mostly for its sleeper factor.
Toyota continues to amaze me the way they care about there customers with reliability to build quality no they arent the fastest or coolest and most stylish but they do each one very well 38k is a lot but in the long run i doubt anything will hild up as well as these in 20 years
Hey SG, you getting the new carolla hatch too? Interested to see that one
Yes, on the list.
savagegeese I have a request.
David G you guys are nuts if you want this automated crap. Either drive full time in fully woken mode or ride as a passenger. Don't mix them!
Toyota man. Always impressive. I never got manual or padal modes in automatic cars lol. The price of these cars is getting ridiculous though.
8k of sticker is standard for Toyota of you bother bargaining. Now Honda, they don't even wanna talk price.
Sybo Man the 3.5 has a timing chain
No car engine should go over 7,500km between oil changes, particularly if you plan to keep it long term.

Please review the new Mazda 6 Turbo!
The Mazda 6 Turbo is not match for the Accord 2.0T and this Camry V6. Alex on Auto already review it and compares them 3 cars.
He reviewed it in July.
@@tousshong9438 she already stated that the Mazda 6 with the best car of the three
One car you should really consider reviewing is the 2006 Camry SE V6.
Can you review the 2018 Mazda 6 Turbo?

Dealer can reflash it I think.
One of the best reviewers I found. Tnx mate, you've helped me a lot deciding if I buy this car or not
I think the model to get is the hybrid SE: pretty brisk and great fuel economy
The SE has inferior battery compared to the LE and XLE
Ro0ster but looks better so a trade off
The base car has by far the best value. You can drive the base Camry for 8 years put 150,000 miles on it and sell it for half what you paid for it in an weekend.
fatboy19831 There’s always compromises
Ro0ster actually the SE and XLE hybrid both have an inferior battery compared to the LE which uses Lithium battery but sadly the LE doesn't get all Bells and whistles
Haters mean nothing, this car is great in everything.

Toyota should never get rid off their physical buttons
I don't know what camera and what lighting trickery you have going on but in the Final Thoughts segment you somehow figure out a way to stand in front of a television without looking washed out and not freaking out the camera with the brightness of the TV. How do you even achieve this and how long did it take to get it just right? The sheer amount of quality that your videos have for even small things people don't really notice is ridiculously good.
Will you be doing an accord review soon?
Easily the best review of the new Camry I have ever seen. Great work SG.
i'm a little surprised you didn't bash this thing for the cheesy plastic fake vents in the front and back bumpers. I knew you'd hate the piano black all over the inside.. Great review as always, you're still my favorite on youtube. What about the fake quad exhaust tips?

If you can't beat the trend, pretend it doesn't exist. Maybe he realized it's pointless to continue ranting about it. :D
Supra2k8 it's a great transmission actually! He had just talked about liking the manual gear lever and how he disliked the "by wire", so i thought he'd probably dislike the push button option.. There's nothing wrong with it though, it shifts smooth and quick. i love my car

You should review a Mazda 6
LOL, Love the expression at: "They've attempted to make it overly Safe" so many lol. I bet it's cutting timing in every gear.
Can you review the 2018 Toyota Avalon, and compare the Avalon to the Camry?
Sad Truth I almost lost in a race to one in my STI. I had to make up for it in the end. Auto plus no lag
07wrxtr1 I couldn't agree more.
