So excited to share this DIY with you all because you can grab an old pair of sneakers from your closet and make them one of a kind!
You can buy all other materials online right now and I linked everything below.
I call out some very specific instructions, especially when it comes to painting the midsole so it won't ever peel or crach and you want to follow those instruction verbatim!
These materials will be enough to make quite a few sneakers, so maybe do this project with a friend!

I've got a whiteboard set up in my bedroom of things to do on the days I'm not working, where I'm cooped up inside. I treat it like I treat a list of chores but it's fun stuff. Hot baths, DVDs, books. I try to have a routine about it & then I have a point of focus so the energy isn't building up inside my head.
There are so many people that don't have a nice house to live in or husband that works or enough food on the table or in the hospital away from their families struggling with the Corona virus, like my daughter!.... It helps me to put that in perspective I'm an artist self isolating and I live alone but I'm so grateful for what I do have. I just think it's wrong to cry about things that I need to be grateful for!!

I hear you but I don't agree. I think we should all be allowed to feel how we feel. This is hard for everyone for different reasons And I think we should be allowed to feel that way. Being grateful for what we have doesn't mean we can't also struggle

I used to paint my leather shoes or boots with acrylic paint mix with shoe polish and a dash of fabric softener. no crack no fade and looks very expensive with just a few steps❤️
i really like how always you give the basics design ideas and you let the choice open to match people's imagination and how they want to create their own DiY
but i want to ask if that process can works for every kind of shoes ??
I would think for any leather shoe and similar material of the gym shoes. Patent leather is probably a bit of a different process and faux leather depending on the quality may not work as good. Something to experiment with anyway.

This is so great! I have a pleather cream jacket that have transfer stains on it, maybe this would be a good way of saving it because it new and I bought it retail and really sick about it.
