As a new subscriber, I have to tell you that I love, love, love your channel. I have already watched a ton of your ideas- they are so stylish and inspirational! Having no sewing machine, it is generally hard to upcycle or create new clothing. I am 54 years young and have been depressed this Christmas with parents having passed away a few years ago (my sister who lives overseas says we are now orphans), my husband and I have had no money for gifts ( being an artist, I made gifts for neighbours and they didn't even thank me) so yes, I am depressed. However, finding your channel has helped lift my spirits and I am upcycling and getting creative with my old clothes. Thank you so much, you help more than you realise.
🤩rly, for me Dynasty was the 'good ol' days'... Taking the time to get dressed: clothing, hair & cosmetics... Glam is returning to how we present ourselves to the world & I couldn't be happier ✨💫☀️💃🏾✳️🎉
ORLY girl! It is not Friday if I don't see your show. I adore the way you are so authentic, show the process (failures along with successes) and don't ever try to be anyone but yourself. There are a million people on RUclips but as an artist and designer, you are the only one I watch every week. I never introduced myself so thought I should...thank you for your inspiration. xo
I love statement blazers, have owned some I've had years now. I can do some of these DIYs on plain blazers I already own, love the channel like always ❤️
Found your channel and I’ve been binging! I’m obsessed. So easy to follow, so visually pleasing and I just love your energy. I had to subscribe! Keep it up beautiful!
Love your videos!! I have been binge watching for the past two days!! I always put some vaseline on the tip of my glue before I close it. It keeps it from gluing shut.
An inexpensive area to source appliqués and lace trimmings is off thrift store wedding dresses, too. I’ve found some clean and non-faded dresses during half-off sales. Then, cut off the dress for your other projects.
I made the sparkle jean jacket and wore it to a concert. I could have sold 100 jackets. People came up to me wanting to know where I got it. I told everyone about your RUclips channel. Thank you for such fun DIY’s!
Hey Orly I have an idea, for the grey blazer with the mesh, how about adding a few rows of silver or clear crystal trim (just like the multi-colored one you made the belt out of) to the edge you sewed to cover it. I think that would look really nice!
I love you and your videos! You have such a great eye for style and fashion. The way you positioned the pearl appliqués was spot on and kept it from looking matronly. You have inspired me. I’m off to the thrift store to find some blazers to experiment with 😁
So I have a black tuxedo blazer that I would love to create scrunched up sleeves, so please do that❤️❤️❤️❤️love all your vids and plan on tackling some on my spring break😍😍😍😍
Love love love the cream colored blazer...i noticed the shoulder pads...my work friends were teasing me today...about my shoulder pads in a jacket I've had forever....it has shoulder pads...not the 80s bigguns....but enough to give it a shape....I was so glad to see yours...and you made it all stylish...💜💜
I have two blazers I really love. One is made of a black-and-purple brocade, sort of a 1940s look - about the only thing I could change would be to put glitzier buttons on it. The other one is solid purple leather - again, all I could really change would be the buttons.
@@OrlysChannel I'll have to manage to go into the city to one of the places in the Garment District that sells buttons and stuff. Not that I mind that idea!
Wow, you are amazing! I've been subscribed forever but I haven't commented yet. I think you intimidate me in a good way and you also inspire me to do my own thing in my rural, never going to a fancy party life. I'm going to watch your painting on shoes videos before I paint my shoes. But, mine are Dr. Scholls orthopedic flats that accommodate my bunions, except only with the thinnest of socks. They are so old the top layer of (it swears it's) leather is peeling off the thin, soft tongue and the heel where it gets scuffed while driving. Then I am also going to re-sew the whipstitching a bit looser to fit better. (If you have the time Google the 1959 song Tan Shoes and Pink Shoe Laces, because that is another part of my inspiration.) As for your sparkly suits, my eyes were taken with the red suit and the multi-colored accent on the pocket flaps. I liked it with the accent used as a belt, but it was a low second. So why not do both? If there's enough length, cut the pocket accents but glue little magnets to the backside and pop some more inside the flap. Then take the longer piece and turn it into a belt. Eve if it's a little short for your waist, you could glue the end to a soft piece of fabric. Then use the fabric to slip over the straight loop end of a belt attachment. The buckle could add an inch or even two, depending on what you need and select. Then that beautiful belt could accent many outfits. Just a thought. Thanks for sharing your great projects with us all!
Love these. I have a mini shaw style scarf that I saftey pin onto a blazer. Love the fringe down the back and the front. Pinning let's me move it to the blazer i want it on.
Hey if that happens again just cut the tube of E6000 at the bottom and squeeze the glue out that way, to close it fold up the bottom and secure with an alligator clip or if there’s a lot of glue left in tube just cut a little corner of the bottom and again clip to save....u may have to recut the next time you need to use but just repeat the whole process...it’s a good idea to squish the bottom up to get the glue out of the part u want to fold up ...... this usually works for any stuff in a tube that you can’t undo the top of...😛
Great ideas! Thank you 💫🙃 I know that you are super busy, but could you pretty please consider a series in trends for spring/summer for different body types and ages maybe? You have such a great eye and taste for trends and give awesome explanation right on spot that it would be great to have a video from you. ✌🏻💫🍀
I found an oversized distressed jean jacket on Poshmark, and I definitely will be doing the crystal trim on it. I got the supplies and everything. Just waiting for it to arrive.
Wow ! I love all the colors , of course. And black , i love to wear . But the Red And White ones are my favorites ! So dam cute ! I'm so scared to do this stuff , trying not to be 80's looking but this I love. The grey one , you can put a small trim on the top to his the stitching ! Thank you for these. I miss going downtown L.A. to get my stuff. I don't think Sacramento has a district like that but now I will look into it ! Love Ya !
Who has the nerve to hit "dislike" on any one of Orly's videos? I love these, so freaking cool and great for this time of year as it begins to get much warmer (here, in Canada, we might need to wait a bit longer to be able to wear them out alone...lol) another home run Orly, you're so inspirational to so many! I can't wait for DIY Friday's.....💗💗
The white one is soooo stunning! I’m gonna be looking everywhere for the materials to recreate! So excited! Thanks Orly for the great weekly inspiration 🤓
Loved this video! Thank you Orly! I have a long black spring coat in my cupboard waiting to be pimped up. I earlier thought of doing some applique on it but then later chickened out for too much work. But these ideas are amazing! Thanks. I have a few linen blazers, do you think I could something like that on them too.
Thanks, Orly! I just signed up for Skill Share and got the two free months! 🤗 Excited!!!
Omg I'm so glad!!! what course are you gonna do!!?

I love the pearl.
Glad you left the red one alone.Looks better that way.And like always ..beautiful!
You're very talented!!!! Love these
😍 the Dynasty Blaser!!! Awesome Job!!
My fave was the feathers on that first one. But that blazer is to die for anyway!!
I love the blazer with the feather cuff. Such an unique blazer already & the extra on the cuff takes it over the edge💗💗💗
The black blazer is just bomb ♥
THANK YOU!! I had an old blazer that I didn't know what to do with and now I know!!
Where did the appli`ques come from? I love your bling designs!
Inspirational, especially for those of us that loves blazers. I love and want them all! Thanks Orly❤
Great ideas! And you were right about using the “shiny stuff” as a belt, gorgeous touch❣️Have a great weekend Miss Orly
I wish you had released this 2 years ago, I used a white blazer when I signed my wedding papers, and it would have looked amazing embellished
Love these!! The white, black and red are my favorites. Now l can try on the blazers, thanks!
The feathers gold and Pearl applicase are my favorite

Keep the great ideas coming! What fun transformations! Thx for the inspo!! 🤗
Your blazers are great. Only a little bit of courage and phantasie and they become a designer piece, something special. Thanks for this inspiration.
Great ideas. Using the multi color one as a sash was perfect.

Whats the channel?
I really like the chain mesh cuffs.

Great tip!
I would get lost in that embellishment store it’s so beautiful and it’s like diy supplies heaven

Orly you bring alot of energy when your doing your vlogs..Cant pick a favorite out. But those appliques were simply stunning..10 out of 10..WINNER.
Such great ideas! I’m glad you went with the belt over the red blazer. Looks amazing!!
Wow they all look amazing but my favourite is the first black and red one 👌
You're so talented ❤👏👏👏
Orly forgetting that the word "adhere" exists and inventing "adhese" made me smile :)
I do very much like to just make up words haha
Hey Orly I always look forward to your videos it's always something great to learn from you. Please keep the DIY coming.
Love the black and white blazers ,you gave me the perfect compliment for a dress that I'm planning to use for a party thanks 😘
omg stop it...orly looks better and more gorgeous every video...you are literally GOALS GIRL 🔥
omg thank you!
Really a big fan of these jacket transformations ❣ Thank U Orley ! ! !
Love your channel. Hint: You can always hand sew the fabric on the wrong side so when you flip it down the seam will be hidden on the jacket cuff.
the metal fabric you mean? you think that would lay flat?
Love you, this video, and especially the music! Would you mind sharing the name of the song? Now I have to go look for some blazers.
I agree the red one 🔥
I love the pearls!
To avoid cap being glued onto end of tube, apply Vaseline to the nipple before replacing cap. This works very well and for many things.
Just wondering how the glue holds up after washing or dry cleaning. Loved the pearl on white and the gold on black 💗🙏
The feathers are my favorite.
Was looking for a diy blazer idea for my bridal shower coming up and these are perfect!!
Loved loved!!!! Will try very soon thanks Orly❤
Thanks Orly! Your video content is so exciting and informative! Love your ideas.

Dang this is nice. I am going to add emblishments to some blazers. The white blazer is so gorgeous. The idea with red blazer (money)

hahahah
