LOL… stumble upon this video. It reminds me of my experience when I went to Pingpong show the first time I visited Thailand. I was in awe. The place was in dodgy alley. It was a bit scary because we all girls but we went in anyway. It was the the most freaky show that I ever seen. Thank God we sit at the back, cause I couldn’t imagine got splash by the coke water or got shoot by the pingpong balls. They even have razor blades show (this one a bit extreme). I don’t know if they still perform that. It was a weird show that you will not see it anywhere. It’s not a place that I want to visit again, but for some Thai experience is OK and funny in a weird way. Amazing to hear his experience about pink-purple neon light. It was exactly the same around 12 years ago.
All I could think about during this story is how filthy that place had to have been and about how many yeast infections those girls have to fight off each week. 😳
I lived in Bangkok for years and always laugh when someone recounts a Ping Pong show. Their skills are next level and I still can't comprehend the "how long do they practice for"?? Then, there's the razor blades!! I'm female and never have wanted to see one but know plenty of my female colleagues who did and were speechless, and, at the same time, highly amused. Yeah, I most likely think that the "girls" that licked and grabbed you were Katoey's, "transexuals". The bar girls are forward but normally wouldn't grab your jewels or lick your ear aggressively like that.
