This song is a real banger. Spiritbox announced yesterday that they have signed a contract of PARTNERSHIP with Rise Records. So that means that they are gonna get substantial investment for their work/sales/tours but they are the ones in charge of the creativity of all of their music. It seems Rise Records is founded by real musicians and then they know how to treat artists. They have bands as Make them Suffer.. Kvelertak.. Dance Favin Dance.. The Acacia Strain.. kublai Khan.. Of mice and Men etc. Great Record label
Yes Sir DJ - great video and additional comments from you made it even better. I see you reacted to their 'Holy Roller' too. I have got to hear/see that one next!!
love the stank face that developed right from the first note, then you stopped, regained composure and then rewound and it came back just the same the second time round. Thats how you know its gunna be a filthy one
Oh hell yea, awesome to see you going back to Spiritbox! They are killing it since their ever first song! Their mix and production is always top notch. Their groove is unmatched. Rule of Nines is such a banger - just like every single one of their songs! And I'm glad you mentioned the drums! Because the drums are actually programmed by Mike - guitarist and also husband of Courtney! He's so damn talented in creating such unique and groovy riffs and sounds. I hope you will listen to more songs from Spiritbox! I can't recommend you one single song because all of them are my favorites and to be 100% honest: you can go with any song because all of them are masterpieces! See you in the next one, cheers!
Glad to see you react to them and I like how you dig into the technicality and musicality of it all. I think this band is doin something I haven't seen before. It's the way her voice sits on top of the melody, just so rare to find it so well done!
Welcome to Spiritbox DJ. This band is FIRE, enjoy the ride! It will be fun hearing you talk about the music as you explore their catalog. It is so easy to just get lost in their amazing vocalist, Courtney and take for granted all the cool musical stuff going on.
The bass player, Bill, is funky as hell in this song. When you said very animals as leaders...that was all bass buddy. Yes low guitars were in there...but that was an extended range Dingwall with fricken piano strings on it lol.
Also, your comment about maturity would mean a lot to all of them. They’ve been doing it in different bands for over a decade. Mike’s first band was awesome, but it was all about “watch how fast I can do this.” They’re definitely worth listening to if you wanna hear where the guitar sound evolved from. Fall In Archaea.
Great song, glad you reacted to it! Funny you mentioned Animals as Leaders -- Tosin Abasi just recently sent Michael Stringer (guitarist for Spiritbox) a brand new guitar (@abasiconcepts, J Larada 7) in the mail lol. Here's an instagram clip of him playing through part of an unreleased song using the guitar: instagram.com/p/CFSPEiHAdEm/
Yeah these guy's are special. So much diversity between all of their songs and still they're all excellent. For another special band I have to recommend Architects // Royal Beggars(Live)
I'm usually not into screaming vocals, that's the hubby's forte, but I have to admire her talent on the whole, beautiful tones kicked into powerful releases my talent with guitar is bringing metal to acoustic but keeping it true. Rhythm and lead, didn't matter... friends would keep me busy at parties lol I'm a finger picker, so have ta say... you don't need a pick for harmonics :p man, I miss playing lol
I dig check this one out and totally loved it! Sadly, it’s one of the ones that RUclips blocked. But if you make your way over to the Patreon page that’s where it’s going to end up soon!
Dude you need to check out ad infinitum, song called I am the storm, see you in hell, or marching on Versailles thsy are awesome and I dont think you'll be disappointed, I think marching on Versailles may be the right one. Your channel is cool man keep up the great metal work.

Great Record label
Rise has always treated their artists well. they truly believe in the bands.
Need to watch Courtney's one take vocal performance of this song. She kills it and is really sweet and funny too.

first time here.. nice reaction! fucking died at 5:53 lol
Love your referral points. 13th step is amazing.
I think there’s an octave harmony on the vocal.
I knew I heard something.... there had to be something! haha.
Temple Music Academy and then later in the choruses there’s a bit of harmony in 3rds, I think.
Her in the booth stuff is unreal. Great reaction bud

So great to see you do some Spiritbox and especially Nines.
I so do agree with all your references! I recently discovered Spiritbox myself and am loving it!

Jinjer and Tool might be my favorite bands, but this is one of my favorite songs to come out in the last couple years.

Alice in Chains and Jinjer are my favorite bands. Spirit box is one of my favorites right now.
Loved the review. Subbed!
Awesome reaction, loved it!
You'd love The Mara Effect Live at Silverside Sound by them.
Mike usually plays Aristides 070’s, but he does sometimes play an 060.

Mike the guitarist is dope, he does some wild shit that I rewind alot
Big TesseracT vibes
Everything I've heard from Mike including that last IWABO record has been unbelievable. Dude is one of the best guitarists in the genre no question.
He said "Watch it go" at the end and I immediately hit the Sub button
Thanks so much for joining our family! Hope to see more of you on here
Please check Ne Obliviscaris - And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope live in Colorado 2016. I think you gonna like it.

You should really see her live one take performance of this song. it's actually better than the recorded studio versoin.
I would love to see a reaction to earthside: a dream in static.
Love your videos. Do Jinjer's song "Ape" one shot live at Mystic festival. You will love it. Also their song "On the Top" live in Kiev.
