We went out and filmed some Sony a7s III Cinematic footage in 120p and 60p. The Viltrox 35mm f1.8 FE lens performed well in both video and photo tests. The Viltrox 35mm Sony FE costs much less than a Sony G-master lens, but it performs far above what you pay for it.
In our Viltrox 35mm review we take cinematic video footage as well as photo samples. If you're looking for the best budget Sony lens this 35mm is definitely a contender. The Viltrox 35mm sample video we shot was all using natural light exteriors, and we shot a few interior shots in the studio with RGB lights. The Viltrox 35mm 1.8 lens is a great options as one of the top budget lenses for Sony cameras.
